I don't think I have ever hated anyone as much as I hate this detective fuck. When she answered the phone I could see the fear in her eyes. She turned on the speakerphone and I heard him. Telling her he couldn't wait to touch her. It took all I had inside me not to grab that phone. People don't hear me, not unless they are trusted. I instinctively grabbed her hand. I squeezed it and she looked up at me. I watched her relax some as she looked into my eyes. She didn't respond. She was focused on me. I motioned toward the phone. I wanted to see if she could get him talking. All she could get out was his name. She walked closer to me and sat the phone down on the nightstand. She leaned up and put her lips on mine softly. He asked about me. The way he said it made me wanna smack him in the mouth and laugh at the same time. I wanted to tell him he was damn right. She did let me inside of her. I wanted to be inside her right now. I know I will be inside her tonight. If she will come back up here with me. I would be inside her every day she would allow me to be. I knew what he wanted. He wanted to hear my voice. He has thought about it, and he believes he will recognize my voice. He wouldn't, but I don't want him to know that. I want him to wonder. I want him to focus on that. *Try to find me badass*, I thought with a smirk. She quickly picked up her phone. She told him I would protect her. She was so confident and sexy. He said something else before he hung up but I couldn't hear it. I grabbed her and kissed her hard. I wanted her in that moment. I turned her around and bent her over the bed. "You ready baby, I need you, I want to take you now?" she moaned out a yes and I yanked her pants and underwear down. I pushed her head down so her back was arched and her ass was pushed out to me. I moved her hair so I could see her face. I ran my hand up between her legs to find that she was already wet and ready for me. I quickly unbuttoned my jeans and pulled them down enough to release myself. I slid into her slowly at first. She gripped the blankets on the bed. "Tell me what you want Sandra?" We both collapsed on the bed. I turned on my side and pulled her close to me. She looked at me with a passion I couldn't put into words. I smiled and ran my fingers down her face. "I have to get back to work darling." She looked disappointed for a second but it quickly disappeared. "I'll get cleaned up and head down to eat. We should probably tell the others he called." she smiled softly at me. "You are so smart, Sandra. I was thinking they could look up the number he called from and it might give us a lead." She impressed me more every time she spoke. "So do you want to clean up too?" She grinned at me and glanced towards the bathroom. "You're insatiable darling, I wish I could, but I have already been up here far too long. They may send a search party." I laughed. I got up and pulled my jeans on. She reached for my hand and I helped her up as well. She took her pants off the rest of the way and started to remove her shirt. "You are a cruel cruel woman," I said to her grabbing her chin and kissing her. I grabbed her ass and pulled her close. "I'll see you after your shower beautiful." I turned and quite literally forced myself to walk back out of my door. When I got back to the kitchen the guys looked past me. I know they were expecting to see her. "She is going to shower and then she will be down. Henry, will you heat her something to eat? I have to get to work. Zeus follow me." I reached him her phone. " That asshole called her." I could instantly see anger on their faces. "She handled it well. She is okay. He tried to scare her. He was also trying to get me to talk." Zeus looked at me and almost laughed. "He thinks he can figure out who you are by your voice." He deduced that quickly. I am surrounded by impressive minds. "I wish I was in the room Jo, He does know my voice." I looked at him confused. " I was in the city watching her before we took her. They went into a restaurant and when they were waiting to be seated, the waitress noticed me and asked me if I needed anything. Sandy glanced back at me and he jerked her arm. I knew he had a jealous streak then. I sat close to their table and ordered a coffee. When I tell you that guy stared at me. He watched every move I made. I know he heard me." He hadn't told me that story. "I am surprised she didn't recognize you but knowing what I know now, she was probably afraid of repercussions."

We were all in my office working on ideas to find the detective when I heard her enter the kitchen. I tried to keep looking at my screen but I had to look up to see if I could watch her. Zeus looked up at me following my eyes. "Henry go make sure Sandra finds everything she needs." Henry looked up at me and smiled. I continued to try to focus on what I was doing. Zeus kept looking up at me which distracted me even more. "Do you have something you want to say to me?" I asked him more sharply than I intended to. "Jo, are you sure what you are doing with this woman is wise? You're distracted. I like her boss, I do. I will die to keep her safe, to keep her away from that monster. I just want to make sure you are thinking clearly about this attachment. You have never believed in attachments before." He spoke softly to try to keep our conversation quiet. I didn't get mad. I knew he was honestly just concerned. Hell I knew what he was saying is accurate. " Right now I don't know if I am sure or not. You don't understand the effect she has on me Z, Something I haven't allowed in for such a long time. Even before I realized who she was, I felt drawn to her. I never allow myself anything other than work. The brotherhood has always been my main focus and still is. Don't I deserve to indulge a bit in this feeling?" He looked at me and didn't say anything for a minute then smiled. "Jo, You deserve more than you could know. Look at how much you have helped all of us. Pulled us off the streets, You and mighty, Just giving us all a purpose. I will stand beside you always boss, I will protect your interest. You have earned it and more." I nodded at him as Henry walked back into the room with Sandra. She looked at me and smiled. She sat down in a chair across from Zeus. She was drawing clear boundaries between work and play. Her understanding of who I was is unnerving. I looked back at the computer screen and got back to work. She sat quietly while we all discussed plans for the week. We decided we need to check on things in the city. "I don't want to stay here, I can go to the city." it was the first time she had spoken up in a while. "I am willing to do whatever you like darling, but you need to understand everything is more risky in the city house. People know it's there. More of the brotherhood can get inside. They hang around quite a bit. You would have to follow orders there that you don't have to here." She smirked at me blushing at the word orders. Insatiable. " Okay, we will plan to leave in the morning."

Zeus looked up at me with a shocked look on his face. "What's up Z?" He stood up and walked over to me reaching me his laptop. "Is that Big?" Zeus nodded at my question. "Why the hell would Ryan be heading North?"
