I watched as they dragged the worthless flesh out through the hallway. Sofia was crying but my Sunshine was eyes were wide, amused almost. I think that I would be too, in her situation. That man would have hurt her if I hadn't walked to find her. My blood was boiling, quite literally. I hadn't decided if I would beat him for a while, or well let Jay and Zeus do it. I may just shoot him in the head and send a message. I know Hector won't say a word to me either way. I looked over at Sofia and smiled. "Dear Sofia, what is it with the tears? He was going to take her, against her will. He was going to force himself on my queen. His hand was in places that make me want to cut it the fuck off. Plead his case for him if you would like." I wanted to see what connection she had to make her cry the way she was. "Smoke.." She paused. "He has a child. She is only two. He has brought her here before, I baked her some cookies." That was it, wasn't it? He was a father. "What kind of father, of a little girl at that rate, would do what he was planning to do?" She shook her head. She had no answer for that. "He's a bitch." Hector spoke up and I agreed. "Well for his daughter's sake, if he keeps his fucking mouth shut, we will beat him for a while and banish him from the brotherhood." I looked over to Sandra, "That is, of course, if that is okay with my queen." She smiled at me and nodded. "I am just glad you showed up boss." She said softly. I could tell she thought I was mad at her, and I was, but I was able to push all my anger onto this man who thought he could lay hands on what was mine. I might not be able to stop myself from shooting him in his temple, I sure hope he knows how to keep his lips under control. "What's the fucks name?" I said thinking knowing his name would be appropriate here. "His name is Jericho, and his daughter's name is Jade," Sofia replied.

When we walked outside, Jericho wasn't looking too good already. Apprently he didn't realize the girl he was frightening and touching, had some lethal big brothers. "Hello Jericho," I said feeling the venom slide off of my tongue. "Smoke, listen, I am so sorry. I just got upset. She acted like she was so much better than me, and I wasn't going to hurt her. I was just trying to scare her." His words are going to kill him. "She is better than you, little shit," Jay said punching him in the stomach before standing him back up to face me. A lot of the men from the territory were surrounding us outside. So I looked around at all of them. "What should I do brothers? What would you do? If it was your queen or sister" and then I looked back to Jericho, "or your daughter." A lot of yells came from the crowd around us. Some told me to kill him, which I found suspicious. I took note of the faces in the crowd. This man had served beside them for over a year, and they were that willing to watch him die. Others told me to banish him, a few told me to let him go. "I won't be letting him go, dumb fucks. Your vision is clouded by loyalty to someone you have grown to care for." I pointed at Zeus, "This man has been beside me for a very long time, but I will tell you this. If he forced his damn hand down my queen's pants, We would be having the same conversation." I looked to Zeus who nodded in agreement. "This man has a daughter, right?" I waited for responses. I looked at Jericho who was closing his eyes, I assumed he was losing consciousness and smacked him hard across the face. "How would you feel friend? If you walked in and someone was forcing themself on your daughter when she is old enough to be a little tipsy in a place she doesn't know well" Before thinking the man looked me dead in the eye and said, "I'd kill them." I pulled my gun and hit him in the head with it, hard. He crumpled to the ground and Jay and Zeus walked over top of him to stand beside me. "He will live, but he will be outed. No one will help him, or they will go out the same way he did. I will spare his life for the sake of Jade. Get him the fuck out of here." I said turning and walking back inside with my closest friends and my queen.

When we got about halfway down the hallway, I heard Hector yelling for me. "What do we do about the Italians?" He must have thought I was leaving." I turned to face him. "We will discuss it tomorrow. I am spending the evening with my queen. She needs me." Hector looked taken aback. He was not used to me prioritizing anything over the brotherhood. "Yes, sir." I grabbed Sandra's hand tightly and pulled her towards my room in the building. I looked to Jay telling him to take care of security to ensure our safety, sent Henry to make sure we had a good dinner later, and Zeus to check on things at our other houses. When we walked inside the room, I pulled her to me close. "Don't you ever fucking disappear on me Sandra, Dont fucking do it. Why didn't you come when I asked? Why did you stay and drink with Hector's woman? You could have been hurt. What if I hadn't shown up when I did? He would have. I don't even want to say it." I let go of her and walked towards the bar. "I'm sorry boss, I just needed to let loose some. I have been so pent up for so long, I was just trying to feel free again." Her words burned. "I am sorry being with me is so restraining for you Sandra. If you would like to leave, then you aren't being held hostage." She shook her head and walked towards me. I backed away. She had hurt me in a way with all of this, and I don't get hurt. "Joseph stop, please listen to me. I just wanted to have some fun." I shook my head at her and threw my glass at the wall. "Was it fun? That fuck groping you? Did you enjoy it?" I knew I was being irrational, but I was full of rage. Now she looked hurt. "Did it look like I was enjoying it dick? I was terrified, I felt like you were my savior, and here you are taking all your anger and throwing it at me. Fuck you *Smoke*" She said my nickname with sarcasm. She walked out of the kitchenette area and headed straight to the bathroom, slamming the door behind her. I had gone too far. She was right, I was shoving all the anger onto her now. I should have killed the stupid fuck for putting his nasty claws on her. I tried to get in the bathroom with her but she had locked it. "Sunshine, I am sorry. Let me in. I wanna wash your hair." I heard the shower come on. "Sandra, please." I never said please, and I think she knew that cause I heard the lock turning on the door.

When I walked in, the first thing I noticed was the redness around her eyes and nose. She was crying. I walked over to her running my hand over her cheek. " I am sorry my beautiful goddess. You were right. I am furious and I wanted to make you hurt too." I kissed her forehead. "I didn't want him to touch me, Joseph, It felt like acid running across my skin. I was terrified. I knew I had made a mistake, understood why you had held on so tightly upon our arrival." I nodded at her and kissed her neck. "I am going to erase what he's done baby, Let me take you." She leaned her head back exposing her whole neck to me. I kissed and sucked and nibbled until I reached her nipples. I sucked harder there, running my teeth over each one. She moaned quietly. I chuckled to myself and told Sandra it was almost time for dinner. She grinned at me telling me she was starved. Before we could make it out the door to head to eat, my phone rang. "Hello Smoke, You're a quick fuck arent you. Already protecting that pretty Sofia as well." It was Tommasso.
