POV- Flea Doe
One that I had seen before. It was mostly when I had done things I wasn’t supposed to do or did something I didn’t know I needed permission to do. This made me feel scared, I started to shake. Not knowing how much trouble I was in.
“I was just looking around. I can move faster. I don’t want to be in trouble. Please.” I started to beg, trying not to cry.
“Relax you’re not in trouble. Hey, there is nothing wrong with being in here. Or doing this at your pace, just that you aren’t required to.” Trying to lighten up the mood for us both.
She looked at me with a sad face and looked like she felt bad for scolding me. She then hugged me as I freaked out a little more, she helped me calm down.
“Sorry, about… what’s happening here?” Stuart asked.
“She was helping set up the table, I may have gotten a little harsh in letting know she doesn’t have to do these kind’s things. I think she needs her mates.” Rachellea explained handing me over to them. Kallen and Stuart took Rachellea’s spot which made me feel cared for and safe.
“Sorry about disappearing on you for a moment, we had to handle somethings, being the future of the pack means that we are always a little busy.”
“I understand.”
“Hey, Tobias, Wade. Come meet Kai-Lea. She is our mate and future Luna. We are going to show her around and wanna come.” Seeing two very large guys met up with us.
‘They are very large.’ I whispered.
“Haha. Yeah, we joke that they are werebears not werewolves. We keep expecting them to shift into their true forms any day now.” Kallen said, with a slight chuckle.
“Not cool, man. And hell yeah, it will be good practice being her bodyguard and all.” one of the said. I didn’t know who was who.
“That’s Wade, he will be the future Beta of the pack once we take our titles.” Stuart explained seeing the look of confusion on my face.
“Tobias can bring the girls with him. That way you can get to know them. So that she can socialize with someone else. Other than you over sized fools.” Rachellea said with a strange smile on her face.
“Tobias, go get the girls.”
He rolled his eyes, he then walked away. The twins then led us all outside towards a huge flower garden. It was bright and beautiful I couldn’t stop smiling. This was amazing. Walking through the garden I thought it was the most beautiful place I’d ever seen. There were all sorts of different flowers including several different colors of tulips. I especially liked the orange ones. Touching one with my fingers, I found they were soft. They were pretty. I was looking at them with a smile when they said, “Tulips for our Tulip”.
“Eeh, you two are cheesy.” Gustava said.
Shaking my head, “No, I think it’s sweet.” feeling warmth from the twins. I just smiled even more at them. They were showing me more than I'd thought possible.
“Yeah, it’s still cheesy.” Rachellea said.
“No.” I shook my head at them. This made me worry for their fated mates. As they are handfuls and strong-willed, they have to be mated to Alphas themselves. Otherwise, I am going to feel very sorry for their mates. I think I still might, though even if they turned out to be Alphas.
“Emma, Felicity, Kaitlyn, and Ronnie, this is Kai-Lea. Your future Luna.” Tobias said finally catching back up to us in the garden. He looked out of breathe which was weird.
I smiled at just being outside this long. I loved it out here as I wasn’t allowed outside very often back at Black Moon pack. I didn’t want this to end ever.
“Well, Luna Kai-Lea, nice to meet you. Maybe these two will be less gloomy.” Kaitlyn said.
“Nice to meet you. And thank you. I am not sure what you mean.” truly unsure of what she meant.
“How much longer do I have out here? I don’t want to get into trouble.”
“As long as you want. You aren’t nor can you get into trouble. This isn’t Black Moon Pack. This is your home. No one is going to hurt you. We promise you this.” They said in unison.
We spent the afternoon outside with me getting to know more about my mates, their sisters. I also learned that while there are three dozen warriors and omega families that live inside the pack house, even more come over just cause. Their great, great grandfather, figured starting the program that drew everyone to the pack house, would help him not only keep the pack safe. But it would also keep the next generation from causing too much trouble.
They asked me a lot of questions about myself and my past. Not knowing how to or even if I could answer most of their questions had me feeling even worse about myself. Afterall I knew that the current Alpha had bought me from Black Moon. But I didn’t know who else knew. So, I tried to keep everyone talking about them or something here. Even though they said I couldn’t get into trouble I didn’t want to push it.
As the sun started to go down, it sat a glow over the flowers it was nice. Beautiful, I wanted to capture that image forever, so I used my new phone. Making it my screen saver. Since it was dinner time, or about to be we headed in the house. Having been reprimanded by Rachellea earlier I wasn’t about to push my luck and headed up to my room. Then thought I be in even more trouble for not helping. So, I made my way to kitchen to find someone who could direct me on what to do.
“Hello, is there something I can do to help?” I asked the head kitchen omega. She smiled at me and then said, “If you want, you can help set up the table with the catering stations.” She answered.
“Yes, ma’am. Thanks.” I did and was in the middle when Stuart walked in.
“Hey, no you don’t have to do this stuff everyone else pitches in around here it’s not just one person.” He said, sounding somewhat angry.
With tears in my eyes, I hung my head and waited for the beating to start. “I know but I wanted to, and I’m not hungry so figured that I’d help out. No one has given me what I'm supposed to do or be doing. And I don’t want to get into trouble.”
“Because you don’t have anything you’re required to do. You need to know you don’t have to do this stuff if you don’t want to. And you are NEVER going to get into trouble.” he said just rubbing my arm. Calming me down.
“I don’t know how to do nothing. Feeling useless isn’t something that I’m unfamiliar with. But I should be doing something. I feel so out of place.” I told him. He helped me finish up then everyone started piling in.
I then headed up to my room. I wasn’t ready to be asked why I wasn’t eating by an entire pack. Nor was I ready for the millions of questions of where I came from, what happened to me, why wasn’t I sounding so sure of my name. That last one is from trying to get used to being called something nice. Something other than Flea, bitch, mutt, or worse. And while I was given the chance to change my name and the choice of what it would be, I wasn’t sure that I was ever really going to be used to it.
So, I wanted to be alone to think for a little while to figure out my new surroundings. I wasn’t in my room for five minutes when Kallen and Stuart just walked in, with giant smiles on their faces. Plates in one hand and some sort of tray in the other.
