POV - Taylor's niece
“As much as I love you and your Mother. You could have called, my darling niece Amber-rose. So, what news has you here?”
“So, you could have gotten that Flea bag for more than five grand, Uncle. According to what I heard this morning, not only is she the fated mate to those twins at Royal Green Mountain, but she is also a Lotus wolf.” I told him.
“Griffin, Robert in here NOW.” He said, stepping to his door.
“Yes, Alpha.”
“I need the two of you to go fetch me that flea bitch from Green Mountain. She is more valuable than I ever could have thought.” he ordered. They stood there for a moment.
“So, you’re saying that I could have been the most powerful Alpha of all time, and you sold her for five grand. Wow.” My cousin Milton said. The whole school was going to know she was bought.
“No, worries son. She will be yours forever.” Uncle said.
“Also, she doesn’t go by Flea anymore; her ‘name’ is Kia-lea Tulip Doe, now. Hilarious, if you ask me.” I told them.
“That’s alright, she’ll be going back to Flea when I get done with her this time.” Milton said.
“Once Griffin and Robert have her back here, she will be all yours.” I said with a wicked grin. Knowing that Uncle wasn’t happy he lost possession of something so valuable.
“On second thought. Robert, Griffin, just give me information on her. I want to know everything she does.” Cousin Milton ordered. “Yes, Alpha.” and with that they finally took off.
“Amber-rose, you are amazing you know that.”
“I do. Want to know something else. I have information about someone that has very close ties, to those twin Alphas.”
“Who and do you think you could use this information to make them a spy for us?”
“Thing, is I don’t think there is an actual need to force it out of her. More like she’s willingly giving up anything I need. Even told me she’ll do everything she can to stop Flea from becoming Luna Queen.” I told him.
“Keep that line open. Do whatever it takes, no matter the cost, I’ll cover that.” My Uncle told me.
“Will do.” With that I headed home to let my mom know I’d been to see Uncle and tell him something helpful. She helped me create system to talk to my spy.

Six months later… POV - Kai-Lea
We’re walking home from school once again, and it’s nice and bright. Some have gotten used to the walking back and forth, while they all take turns driving everyone’s bags. A few complained, but others say thanks as it has gotten them physically fit. It was nice. I got to know most of the pack our age this way. Even made friends with some that don’t normally talk to the ranked members. Not because the twins or other ranked members avoid them, more because there are so many pack members. Green Mountain, is actually Royal Green Mountain pack, and has over thirty-five thousand members. But they don’t make it a requirement to refer to them as such.
On the days that it was raining we’d all carpool. It sucked at first, but I’ve stopped dry heaving at three minutes in, so that was something. We are on our walk home when the twins started looking strange then, “Stop.” Kallen and Stuart said in unison, in a scary tone. “Get everyone to the pack house, NOW! AND WADE DO NOT LET HER OUT OF YOUR SIGHT!”
“YES, ALPHAS!” Everyone responded. “What’s happening?” I asked as we took off running. “Rogues, Luna, just hold on to my hand and don’t let go.” Wade told me.
“What about Kallen and Stuart?” I asked scared, trying to pull away from his grip to go back to them. He didn’t let go and continued to pull me towards the pack house as he said, “They’re Alphas. They’ll be fine.”
“Are you sure?” I asked, I couldn’t lose them. “Yes, Luna. I promise. Let's keep moving.” As we were separated from each other by a rather large wolf knocking him to the ground. He recovered and shifted into his wolf as they were going at each other, two more wolves circled me. They were dark gray and had patches of fur missing. They smelled like rotting meat. “HELP!” I screamed. As the wolves stopped circling I saw Milton with two of his friends. “Hello, again. You’ll make one hell of a breeder. Flea. Grab her.” He ordered and his buddies came closer and picked me up.
“STOP! LET ME GO!” I screamed. I struggled against their grip. As I went to scream again, Kallen and Stuart knocked me loose. Milton didn’t like that and grabbed me by the throat. “I will have you as I please.” Milton growled at me.
He continued to growl in my face. Kallen and Stuart then took on Milton. As Milton noticed that he was losing, he took off. Leaving behind his friends who weren’t dead. I was crouched down against a tree crying. My neck was bleeding from Milton’s claws. I had some small wounds, but none of that concerned me as much as my neck. “NO!” I screamed as someone tried to touch me. Seeing the hurt in his eyes I saw it was Kallan and had brought me out of my scared state and feeling guilty about yelling at him.
“Kai-Lea, no one is going to hurt you. You’re safe. I’m not mad, you have nothing to feel guilty for you were scared of being hurt again. But that’s over.” He said.
“You kept your promise, you didn’t let anyone take me.” I said jumping into Kallen and Stuart’s arms. I cried, telling them I was sorry for yelling at them. I was scared.
“We will always keep our promises to you. We got you Little Mate. No one is going to touch you.” They growled.
“Alphas’, I’m sorry. I didn’t see that wolf coming. I’m so sorry.” Wade said sounding angry with himself.
“Don't. You protected her. Did we lose anyone?” Kallen asked.
“No deaths, just injuries. But this was something I’ve never seen. Rogues were actually fighting with a pack. Black Moon has rogues at their disposal.” He answered. This angered Kallen and Stuart even worse.
“Wade, are you ok?” I asked, seeing the blood on his arm. He got hurt badly because of me. He wanted to know how this had happened.
“I’m fine, Luna. Doing my job.” He said and hugged me from the side as Kallen and Stuart weren’t letting me go fully.
“What the hell happened?” Dad came barreling over to us. Fuming at the ears with anger.
“I’m sorry, I caused this.” I cried into Kallen’s shoulder.
“No, you didn't, they did this. They will regret ever trying to attack us. Or ever coming near you.” Dad told me as he took me from the twins, “You are my daughter now. They will regret coming near any of my children.” I cried into his shoulder. He just held me there. I think I started to feel sleepy, enough that I fell asleep with him holding me.
