POV – Kallen/Stuart
‘She’s smiling, I like it. We need to keep it up.’ I was telling my brother when my wolf growled in my head interrupting me ‘Little Mate needs to smile more.’
‘That she does. For sure.’ I told him, while rolling my eyes at his theatrics over trying to order me around.
We ate and Little Mate seemed to like the fish but was loving the crab cakes. It was on her last bite that we noticed that our mate was looking a little green. She got up and ran outside, where she vomited everything into a bush. Quick behind her. I was rubbing her back and Stuart holding her hair. We gave her some water to rinse her mouth out and a mint afterwards.
“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to throw up.” She said, scared she was in trouble.
“It’s fine. It’s just from where you were trying to eat so much. You have to take it slow. Your stomach has never had that much food on it, and you overloaded it. Don’t worry, one day you will be able to eat whatever you wish, and this won’t happen unless you're pregnant with our pups. And then it will only be from morning sickness.”
Stuart was linking the doctor about her vomiting and other things that we’d noticed about her. As we needed to figure out the best way to help her get better.
“Thank you.” She looked down, but not physically. More like she was hurt by our statement. We became worried but ultimately decided not to push the issue just yet.
Having arranged that someone pick up some from the closest place, so that she could have some more. Granted our head kitchen omega aka our Auntie, said she’d slap us silly if we thought that she was ever going to serve her future or current Luna something from a fast-food restaurant. We laughed, holding our sweet Little Mate while she slept. I held her legs while Kallen held her torso this time.
Once home Kallen carried her inside as she was still a little out of it. He took her to the medical wing to get her looked at and make sure that they hadn’t done anything too harmful to her. The Doctor waited to start her exam until she was awake, telling us it could do more harm than good, if while she was asleep and unaware. Then asked us to leave telling us she would mind link us once she was done. We of course just stayed outside of the door of the room while she looked over our mate.

POV- Flea Doe
“So young lady, you are to be the next Luna of our lovely pack.” the Doctor said. She was nice but I wasn’t looking to get another doctor hurt over me again. And this is a female there is no telling what they would do to her.
“Yes, Ma’am. You don’t want to look me over. I am nothing. And this could get you into trouble with the Alpha. I don’t want you to lose your family the way the Doctor at Black Moon Pack did.” I told her, I already felt bad enough about one doctor had lost his mate and children, from Alpha Taylor forcing them to leave.
“You don’t have to call me, Ma’am. Ayonna will do. Or Dr. Ayonna if you’d like. And I’m looking you over under the Alpha’s orders. He also helped that Doctor get back to his family.” she told me.
“Dr. Ayonna, it is.” Which made me feel less worried about the Doctor and her family. The news made me a little happier. But then I thought about the conversation that twins and I had outside that Captain’s place. This made me sad, as I wasn’t sure that I could have pups. They were going to be let down. With me not able to give them an heir they’d have to have another mate. “I am going to start my exam. If at any point you don’t feel comfortable, let me know and we will stop.”
“Ok.” I answered. Not that I was going to stop an exam required by the Alpha. She had me change into a backwards robe of some sort. Then she did all kinds of weird things. She was gentle. Sometime later, once she was completely done with her exam, she told me I could put my clothes back on and let Alpha Stuart and Alpha Kallen back into the room.
“So, I have good news and I have expected news. The good news is she was never raped. The expected news is that from where she was molested she does have some scars. As well as from the beatings that she received because she didn’t have her wolf to help her heal. That being said, your assumption about her vomiting up her food while you were headed here, is correct because her stomach is small, and it can't handle too much at one time just yet. It needs to grow, which can only be done slowly as it can cause more issues than it’s worth trying to rush it. She needs more foods like lettuce in her diet. She will be able to have as many pups as the three of you want.”
“I can be a Mom.” I said with such excitement and worry. I couldn’t tell who was the loudest. Me or my wolf, we’d both believed the lies we were clearly told. This made us wonder about more than a few things.
“Yes, sweetheart.” Doctor answered her.
“I was told that my pussy was too damaged to have any pups.” ‘They won’t need someone else.’ My wolf reassured me. The twins weren’t going to have to find another mate. This made me smile.
“Well, I can promise you that that isn’t the case.” Dr. Ayonna stated.
‘We need to tell them what we are. They will protect us.’ My wolf told me.
‘Only if, you’re sure.’ I asked her.
‘I am very sure.’ She said, ‘Then we will need to shift. Are you ready for that?’ I asked her.
‘Yes.’ I felt at that moment that she was sure of something about this place or maybe them. And I have always trusted her.
We went from the hospital room when Kallen said, “We can show you, your new room.”
“Before we head to my room, I need you to get the Alpha and Luna. I have something you need to know.” I told them.
