POV- Flea Doe
I was still smiling which made my jaw hurt. I asked about it and the doctor said it’s just my jaw getting used to doing something I'm not. We waited a few minutes for all of us to be in the room. I moved back to an open space then told my wolf, ‘Take over.’
After a few minutes I shifted and stood there on all fours.
“WOW. Little Mate, you’re gorgeous. You’re a...”
“Lotus Wolf.” their mother said.
“You need more food on that stomach for both of you.” With Alpha tone letting both myself and my wolf know that it was an order, said Alpha Enwell.
We felt at home in just a few short hours. So, I wasn’t going to argue.
“Can you shift back so we can talk?” my wolf bowed her head. And gave me back control as we shifted back. I was still fully clothed like always. Which made stretching my paws and keeping us hidden so much easier.
“You never told anyone at Black Moon that, did you?”
“No, I was always too scared to. My wolf said that is wasn’t safe. Alpha Taylor beat me so badly that it took two months for my wolf to help heal me and three for her to regain her strength to even talk to me. I didn’t know what he would have done if he had known. Also, I can mind link, at least according to my wolf. And she says that it doesn’t even have to be a pack member for me to link with.”
“It’s because of what you are.” Luna said.
“Being a Lotus wolf is rare and comes with abilities. I am going to need to eventually inform the council as they are going to want to talk to you about what all happened at Black Moon pack. But I won’t until you are ready. Whether they knew or not you turning out to be a Lotus wolf, means that they violated the law, by not having you tested as a small child. Which as things stand probably worked out rather for the better. Cause had they known there is no telling what they would have done to you.” Alpha said.
“My wolf says that it was too dangerous to tell anyone at Black Moon what we are. She said that Alpha Taylor was a corrupt and a soulless monster. She says that ‘Mother’ says that he is damaged.” Yawning as I explained this to them. I felt sleepy but doubted that I was going to be allowed to go lay down.
“How often did you shift?” Luna Krysta asked.
“Once a month if I was lucky and got my privilege of going outside for more than school.”
“You are amazing Little Mate. This changes nothing for us. You are our Mate and that’s all we care about. You could be human, and we’d still want you.” Kallen said, making both myself and my wolf feel warmth towards him and Stuart. I just nodded my head.
“No one outside of this room can know just yet. It’ll put too much danger on you. We aren’t trying to hide you. Just protect you. Once you are ready we will tell the pack.”
“I understand. Thank you, Luna.” I answered, barely holding my eyes open at this point, unsure of why I was so sleepy.
“Boys, take her to her room, she needs to rest for a little while.”
They took me to my room, and as I looked around. The room was huge it looked to be twice the size of Black Moon’s living room. I became confused. Why would I need to have this large of a room.
“What is it?” Stuart asked while Kallen waited by the door.
“Why so much room, what I had was fine? I don’t need that much.” I said.
“No, sweetheart. It wasn’t. In fact, we’ve boxed all your old things away in storage as they are yours. We have you new clothes, shoes, and other things in your new closet. We are taking you shopping this weekend at the mall, for you to pick out whatever you want.”
“But I…” I went to say that I didn’t need anything more than I already had.
“But nothing, young lady. My sons will take you and you will get whatever you want. You have two weeks before the school break is over with them while getting adjusted here. And they need to help get you up to speed. This includes getting her able to ride in a car without being put to sleep, boys. Nor is it up for discussion, young lady. As I expect thirty or more bags when they get home with you tomorrow evening. No less. And that’s thirty or more for just you. Not with whatever they buy.” He said with his Alpha tone so that we all knew there was no getting out of it. Which made me feel bad because that meant that they were going to spend money on me that wasn’t needed.
“Yes, Sir.” We said in unison. I nodded in understanding that it was an order.
“Also sorry to stop you from laying down just yet. But, if you darling will follow my mate here. I’m going to have a conversation with these two. The pack attorneys showed up faster than anticipated.” he stated.
“Yes, Sir.” I followed Luna back down the stairs and into an office. I was used to not sleeping all that much, but they seemed angered at themselves for stopping me from laying down. “It’s fine Luna, I’m used to going without sleep, I’ll be fine.”
“No, you won’t our bodies need sleep. And you should be getting all rest you want. I will try to make this as quick as possible. Then you can lay down for nap before dinner tonight.” She spoke softly.

POV - Krysta
“Alright sweetheart, these people are the pack attorneys. They are here to help us get your name changed to something else. As I will not allow a single soul to call you Flea.” I told her as we took our seats in my office. Knowing one day that this will be her office. She is going to make a wonderful Luna and mate for my sons. I was so happy to know they had found their mate. And after learning that she is a lotus wolf we’re going to have to teach her about lotus wolves, then get in touch with the pack that is nothing but different types of lotus wolves. I knew that while she had one fur color now, it didn't necessarily mean that was going to be the one she stayed once she came of age.
“First we are going to go over a few new rules and get some things set up for you. And while that’s happening you can snack on something.” I told her hoping to help her.
I had some small salads and other snacks for her to try on the table to help her with her eating needs. As Dr. Ayonna said that her stomach needed to grow.
“So, do you have anything you’d like to go by? Or a name you thought was cool or something?” I asked her.
“I liked this character from a book once but it’s stupid. You don’t have to.” She said looking down. I realized that I was going to have to teach her more about confidence, self-worth, and self-esteem more than I was anything else.
“No, sweetie we do. What is it?” I told her, rubbing circles on the back of her hand while sending hope, love, and kindness to her. Being a Luna Queen, I’m gifted with certain abilities by our Goddess and sharing these feels or removing others is among these.
“Well, the first one was --- Kai-Lea,” she said smiling from ear to ear as she said it. “And the other was Tulip. Kai-Lea is this character that was fearless; she never let anything hurt her or get in her way. And then the other one was from another book. Kind of goofy and more like she was metaphorical than real.” She continued sounding so childlike and full of hope.
“Kai-Lea Tulip Doe, it is.” I said. She smiled even brighter at this news, she loving her new name, it was nice.
For now, one day it will be Enwell. *Boys your mates name is Kai-Lea Tulip. You will fill this house with tulips and everything she likes until I say otherwise.* I linked my sons, thinking about how happy their future is going to be.
*Yes, Ma’am. It’s a beautiful name, Mother. Thank you.*
We finished up the rest of the paperwork and the attorneys told us that it would be about twenty-four hours, for her name change to go through but that the new birth certificate and social would arrive soon after. We went over a few other things for her including new house rules and that she’d be getting allowance from the pack just as everyone else. She tried to get out of it, saying that she didn’t need so much. That she was sure there were other things that we could use that money for. We explained how we had more than enough money in the pack for it and that she of all people deserved it. As well as that the allowance from the pack is mandatory.
