Tank

Goof texted me when they were leaving the restaurant so I knew we had about 20 minutes to finish up Lilly’s surprise party. I’m impressed how Merigold and Anna were able to get everything ready in two days. They got a cake, snacks, and decorations. Yes, we know Lilly can’t see them but that isn’t what matters. We all even managed to go out and get Lilly gifts. We got everyone here to celebrate. Lug Nut got all of the guys from the band. Even some of the people who work at Harry’s including Harry. I just hope Lilly likes it.

I got the word that they have arrived. I let everyone know to be quiet as we wait for Goof to bring Lilly in. When the door opens I can hear Lilly laughing. Once the door closes Lilly stops “ Goof, is it scary silent in here.” Lilly says. We all yell ‘ Surprise.’ It startled Lilly, causing her to fall backwards. Goof reacted quickly and grabbed her before she could hit the floor. I don’t like his arm around her but I’m grateful she didn’t get hurt. Now that she is on her feet again she looks around like she is trying to get her bearings. “ What is going on?” she asks. Merigold walks up and takes Lilly’s hands “ My sweet baby sister. This is your late birthday party.” Lilly looks shocked “ My my. A party? For me? Really?” Why is Lilly not believing we would throw her a party? While Merigold is taking Lilly around to meet all her guests, Goof comes over to me. He explains what Lilly told him. He explained Lilly hasn’t celebrated her birthday since her parents died. She wasn’t allowed to. That explains Lilly’s reaction. It also explains why none of them knew about her birthday.

I look around the sea of people looking for my girl. I finally spot her between Ace and Viper. I need her so I walk over. “ Sweetheart, can I steal you for a moment?” Lilly smiles so brightly it steals my breath away.” For you, you can have as long as you want.” Viper and Ace snicker. “ Have fun you two. We will see you in a few.” Viper says. I pull Lilly off to the side where we can have some privacy. It is hard with all of these people around but this will do for now. I take her arms and wrap them around my neck and place my hands on her waist pulling her close. I look in those beautiful eyes of hers and get lost. It is still hard to believe after all the shit I put her through she gave me a chance. With her in my arms I never want to let go.

I don’t know how long we stand there just holding each other but it is perfect. I lean down to kiss her. She isn’t shy with me anymore. She opens up for me right away. My tongue is matched with hers in some sort of arctic dance. I slid my hands down her waist to her ass pulling her closer. I want to fuse our bodies together in the most sensual way possible. Merigold shouts “ Where is the birthday girl? It is time for presents and cake.” Lilly groans “ Do we have to? I just want to stay here with you.” I lay my head on top of hers. You know she is going to get her way whether we want to or not. Best get it over with. Then you can have me the rest of the night.” I say. Lilly looks up and her eyes light up. “ Really the whole night. I can have you all to myself.” I nod. “ I’m going to hold you to that because I can’t think of a better way to spend my night.” she says. Damn this girl.
