Tank
After I get dressed I go wait at the front of the stage for Lilly. With everyone’s help I was able to pull off my proposal. She said yes. I’ll admit there was a small part of me that was worried she would say no. Not only did she say yes but in just a few minutes we are going to be married. You may ask why the rush. Two reasons really. I overheard Merigold, Trina and Lilly talking one day and I remember Lilly said if she were ever to be engaged she wouldn’t want a long engagement. And to be honest I don’t think I could have waited long for Lilly to be my wife. Viper grabs my shoulder “ Nervous?” “ I’m good, brother. Just ready to do this.” Viper nods “ I’m proud of you brother.” Before I can say another word I hear Dez playing the keyboard indicating we are starting.

I see Jace and Jax walking down the aisle escorting Harley. Harley is our ring dog. We have the rings tied to his collar. Jace, Jax and Harley are all wearing simple suits of black pants white button up shirts and their kuttes. To keep the bar clean I didn’t use a flower girl as much as I would have loved to see my goddaughters do it. I see Merigold walking towards us first wearing a baby blue corset dress and her trademark cowboy boots. Anna is next wearing a similar dress just she has a shawl draped over her shoulders. When they get on the stage they stand opposite of me. Viper agreed to officiate for me like he did at Merigold’s wedding. Thor, my best man and Brick, my groomsman, are standing beside me. I hear a gasp and that is when I see Lilly.

There are not enough words in the English language to describe the beauty before me. I had Anna make Lilly’s dress since she makes all of Lilly’s costumes. And she didn’t disappoint. She has Lilly decked out in a white dress with gold accents. The top looks like one of the body suits Lilly wears on stage. Similar to a bathing suit. With gold gems on it. The skirt of the dress is white lace with gold glitter throughout. It goes to her knees in the front and falls to the floor in the back. Her hair is left down in flowing curls that lead to the top of her ass. Anna even put her in a tiara. Anna kept her make up simple yet sultry. I have know clue how she does it. And I could swear she is glowing.

Lug, Neil and Connor are walking Lilly towards me. When they have her in front of me Viper asks “ Who gives my second sister to this brother?” Neil, Connor,and Lug say “ We do.” Lug places Lilly’s hand in mine. I haven’t stopped smiling since she said yes and I don’t see it leaving any time soon. Viper looks around at our guests then back to us. “ We are gathered here today to witness something I never thought I would see. We are here to see my gruff asshole brother and my sweet and amazingly talented little sister get married. If there is anyone brave enough to object, speak now or shut the hell up.” As you guessed it, Viper doesn’t do traditional weddings. And why should we? We are a bunch of bikers. Why would we do anything in the traditional sense?

When no one speaks out Viper continues “ Nicholas Tank Tramane do you take Lilly Songbird Reynolds to be your ol’e lady and wife. Do you promise to support her in all her musical endeavors? Do you promise to protect her like you protect your bike? Do you promise to be her guide when she needs it? Be her rock when she needs support. Be her shoulder when she needs to cry. Pick her up when she falls down. Do you promise to love her until your last breath? Do you promise to put her needs before all others including your brothers and your club? Because if you don’t we will bury you.”

I don’t hesitate with my answer “ Yes to everything and more.” Viper nods and says “ Good answer.” He turns to Lilly “ Lilly Songbird Reynolds do you take my brother Tank as your ole’man and husband? Do you promise to run to him whenever you need him? Do you promise to use that sweet voice of yours to calm him when he is stressed? Do you promise to put his needs before your band and your club? Do you promise to love him until you can no longer use your voice? Do you promise to share all the good times and the bad times with him until you ascend to the heavens or until he hurts you and we take care of him for you?” Lilly looks at me and smiles “ I do with everything I have and then some.”

“ Harley, can I have the rings?” Viper asks. Harley stands between Lilly and me and the twins untie the rings. Jax hands me mine and says “ Uncle Tank, repeat after me.” Ok, this was not part of the plan but I will go with it. Viper clearly worked out something with the boys. “ I,Nick Tank, take Lilly Songbird to be my wife. And mommy to my kids. To hold when sick or feel good till my riding days are done.” I repeat what he says and try not to laugh at the cuteness. Then slide the ring on Lilly’s finger. Jace hands Lilly the ring and says “ Aunt Lilly, you have to say what I say. Lilly nods “ I Lilly Songbird take Nick tank to be my husband. The daddy to my kids, hopefully boys. To help when sick and have fun when feel good until you are singing with the angels.” Lilly does as she slides the ring on my finger with a little help. “

“ I really don’t want to say this but you may now kiss the bride.” Viper says, causing the guests to laugh. I don’t waste a second. I pulled Lilly in my arms, dipping her down and kissing her like my life depended on it. Lilly wraps her arms around my neck, kissing me back. When it is time to come up for air I pull back and stand Lilly back on her feet. “ With the power as President of the Reckless Renegades and the piece of paper I got off the internet. I now pronounce you husband and wife. Time to party before the concert.” Vipers says. Our guests clap and whoop. Best day ever.
