Chapter 53

Tank
Tonight was the night we were meeting at Grif’s. I have Lilly staying at the house with Neil, Connor and the rest of the band. While I’m going to find the guy who has tried to kidnap her Lilly is having a last minute session to finalise all the details for the show. I can’t believe it is already here. I’m excited for Lilly and I’m looking forward to seeing her on stage again. I know it will have a better ending than the last time.

I want to get this recon over with for multiple reasons. One is it is a step closer to getting the main guy after Lilly. Which means we are closer to ending this. And the second is that Lilly told me she has a surprise for me when I return. She won’t tell me what it is but she had a devilish smirk on her face that tells me she is up to no good. And I am going to reap the benefits. Maybe she wants to try something new out. It is a tough job but I am more than happy to be her guinea pig. I will gladly let use my body how she sees fit again. But for now I have to focus on capturing this fucker who thought he could hurt my girl. As much as I would love to have fantasies of what Lilly might have for me this is more important.

We all arrive at Grif’s and take our places. Goof goes in first to set eyes on our target. I wait outside with Viper and Lug Nut. Ace and Thor are watching the back. We have our comm pieces in our ears so we can communicate quietly. If you are near someone it just looks like you are talking to them. Or you can pull out your phone so no one gets suspicious. Viper pulls his jacket tight around him “ I wish this guy would hurry up and get here. It’s fucking cold.” The temperature has been dropping to the low thirties for the past couple of weeks. I agree with Viper. I would rather be at home curled around Lilly in front of a roaring fire. But since she is the reason I’m doing this I won’t complain.

“ I spotted our target.” Goof says over the comm. “ Let us know when to move.” Viper says. After a few minutes Goof says “ One come in and go to a table. I’m at the bar three seats down. Target trying to get some ass from a whore.” “ Don’t intercept until she is clear. We don’t want any innocents in the way.” I say. “ Fuck, she isn’t an inncoecnt. It’s fucking Brit. What the hell is she doing here?” Good question? Did she know we were coming and wants to fuck us? Could she have overheard some talk or did one of the guys run their mouth? “ We need to get her out of the way.” I say. Fuck we need her to move. “ I have an idea.” Lug Nut says. “ Give me five minutes then get the target moving.”

Lug Nut disappears into the bar. We don’t hear anything for a few minutes before Lug comes back out. He nods to Viper “ Wait for the distraction. Move on target.” Viper says. I look at Viper to question him but then I hear a commotion over Goof’s comm. “ Brit honey is that you?” a slurred voice says. I hear Brit’s whiny voice say “ I don’t know you. Go away. I’m with someone.” “ Aww don’t be like that. We met at a party last month. Me and ten of my buddies took turns with you. Don’t you remember. You and I had at least two rounds. You couldn’t get enough. Come on. I can get some friends if you want a repeat.” the guy says. “ I don’t know what the hell you are talking about. I have never seen you before.” Brit screams. “ Did you get that rash cleared up? Mark got his cleared up real quick. He wasn’t mad you gave it to him. We can get plenty of condoms.” This guy just keeps going on and on. I’m glad I have a strong control of my emotions while working or I would lose it. Once we have our target locked up in our basement I will not be able to stop. This is one hell of a distraction. And entertaining as well. “ Get away from me. I’m with this guy. I don’t know what rash you are talking about.” Brit yells. I know they have top be drawing a crowd.

“ Did you have more than one that you can’t remember? It was red and inflamed. Mark said it felt like his junk was on fire so I imagine your pussy was too.” “ I have to go.You two can finish this without me.” Our target says. “ Don’t leave. He is lying. I have never seen him before.” Brit says. “ I don’t care. I’m not getting involved. Dude you can have her.” Target says. Goof says “ Target on the move. Head to the back.” “ Ace you are up. Bag and tag the piece of shit.” Viper and I move to the back of the building taking opposite sides to meet with Ace. I have my hand behind my back with my hand on my pistol. Just in case you know. We don’t know how bad this guy is going to fight back.

When we meet at the back I’m a little disappointed. Thor has our target layed out of the ground with his nose busted. “ What the hell man?” Viper asks. “ Tried to make a run for it.” Thor says as an explanation. “ Fine, just load him up. I want to get out of here before I freeze my balls off.” Viper says. They load him up in one SUV with Ace and Thor. Viper, Lug and me get in the other one.

We arrive back at the club and the guy is still knocked out. I help Thor take him to the basement. We drop him in a chair and tie him up so he can’t move. I look over at his partner in crime that we are still holding. We aren’t letting any of these fuckers go until we have all the players. Then they will be dealt with. I want to kill them. Viper wants to get enough evidence on them to turn them over to our cop friend. “ Got your buddy now. Just need the master mind.” “ Let me out of here you fuckers. You got him. Let me go. I don’t know anything else. I swear I will never go near the girl. I didn’t even know she belonged to you or I would have never agreed to help.” I ignore him and continue to walk out the door. Making sure it is locked I head upstairs.

When I see Lug Nut sitting at the bar I can’t hold it anymore. I crack the fuck up. I know a few people are looking at me like I have lost my mind. “ Lug what the hell was that back there. That was one interesting distraction.” Now that some know what I’m talking about they start laughing too. “ Yea, Lug. Who was that guy?” Ace asks. “ I have no clue. You said we needed to get Brit out of the way. So I walked in and paid the guy a hundred bucks to stir up a little shit. I just didn’t think that guy would be that good. Money well spent.” He laughs with us. “ Alright we are done for the night. Go home. We will deal with this shit tomorrow.” He doesn’t have to tell me twice. I ran out the door like my ass was on fire. I have a girl waiting on me.

It feels like it took me hours to get home but I finally made it. I notice the band’s cars are gone. Good I didn’t want to be rude for having to kick them out. When I get to the front porch all the lights are out except for a soft glow from the living room. What are you up to Lilly? I open the door and go in, locking it behind me. I walk towards the middle of the house. “ Lilly?” I called out. “ In the living room.” she answers. I walk in and stop in my tracks. I kid you not I’m frozen in place. I don’t even know where to start with what I’m seeing.

There are candles lit all around the room. There is a low fire going. The front of the fireplace is what really has my attention. Lilly is sprawled out on some blankets surrounded by pillows. She is wearing a dark blue sheer robe with a light blue lace teddy underneath. Fuck she looks hot. The whole scene is set for seduction. And I can guess I’m the one who is getting the benefit. Lilly gets up and slowly walks towards me swaying her hips. I finally got my feet working and met her half way. She reaches for me and I pull her in my arms crushing her to me. Lilly lifts her face to me. I lean down for a kiss. I expect it to be quick but Lilly shocks me by taking control. She bites my bottom lip then licks it. She slides her tongue in to meet mine. She twists and twirls her around mine dragging a moan from me. When she pulls back she smiles and says “ Welcome home, Nick.” Best homecoming ever. And I know there is more to come.
