Tank

“ Alright. Are you ready for the reason you came out tonight?’ Lug asks. The crowd is stomping, cheering and yelling. Lug puts his hand behind his ear and says “ I don’t think she heard you.” I swear I can feel my chair vibrating for the crowd chanting. Casper looks at me silently asking “ What the fuck?” I just smirk. I hear the slow music start then I hear Lilly’s voice ring out with Celine Dion ‘ To Love You More.’ Yes, I know the song she is singing. I know the whole night's playlist. But what I don’t see is Lilly anywhere. I see everyone looking around to find out where it is coming from.

When she hits the third line in the song I see the spotlight hit the middle of the bar. Everyone has cleared a path and I see Goof and Neil gliding Lilly along slowly up the stage. She is wearing a light blue jeweled cloak covering her from head to toe.When she is standing in front of the stage they carefully lift her. Once she is on her feet Lug comes forward. When they get to the part that is just an instrumental, Lug removes the hood of the cloak for us to see her. In the spotlight in the middle of the stage stands my girl singing her heart out. I see her turning her head like she is looking over the crowd. When she gets towards our tables she smiles, blinding us. She knows where we are because we all get red lights attached to us.

When she is done singing, Lug and Neil come to her. “ We want you to welcome back, Songbird.” He draws out. I kid you not, the crowd including our boothes start chanting Songbird, whistling, screaming. You name it guys, girls, staff. And to stop it Lilly throws her hand in the air and asks “ Did you miss me?” I don’t know how it happened but I swear they yell as one “ Hell, ya.” Lilly laughs “ It is good to be back here for you. And what a wonderful greeting. I guess you wouldn’t mind me doing a few more songs then?”

But before anyone can answer the music starts and Lug pulls her cloak off revealing her costume. Anna made her an ice princess complete with a crown. She is wearing a white jeweled bodysuit that pushes her tits up with light blue, white and silver lace skirt that comes down to her knee with silver heels. When the lights hit her shirt I can see through it. And when they hit the bodysuit it sparkles.I hate that all these guys are looking at her like that but damn she is hot. She is dancing across the stage, popping her hips and shaking her ass. She has the crowd watching her every move. Even Casper’s eyes haven’t left her. But I’m not jealous. I know it is my arms she will be in tonight. What she is doing now. It needs to be shared. Viper leans forward so Casper can hear him “ She is why we need extra security.” I can hear the pure pride in his voice.

“ I want to meet her. She is just wow. And so fucking hot.” Casper says. I smirk “ We can do that.” I say. Lilly finishes her song and Connor comes up “ You know what time it is right?” Lilly leans back for Lug to strap her guitar on. The crowd yells “ Battle. Battle.” Lilly starts playing Poison ‘ Talk Dirty To Me’ and Neil sings. Connor and Lilly play back top back singing along. Man can they play.
I am sitting with our entire club as well as Casper and a few patches from his club in all the booths in the back of the bar. I have Harley parked beside me looking around at all the craziness around us. I saw this place packed before when I first saw Lilly on stage the first time but this is crazy. There are people on top of people in chairs and booths. The bar has all the chairs filled and people standing behind the chairs. The waitress can barely move around everybody. Casper looks at me and says “ I know you asked for some help tonight. And I never asked why but damn. This place is nuts. What the hell did you need all the guards for?” I don’t think I can put it into words so I just tell him “ Watch and see.” He shakes his head but doesn’t say anything. I look around making sure everyone is in place when I hear Neil singing.

The whole band is in costume. Neil looks like he is dressed as Bruce Springsteen. Lug is dressed as a cowboy. I can’t see the rest of the guys yet. But I will later. Who I don’t see is Lilly. I tap my comm” Goof. You good?” “ I got eyes with Songbird.” he answers. That is all I need to know. I can’t wait to see her. Anna wouldn’t tell us about her costume saying it was a surprise. Lug is next singing. “ They aren’t bad. The security to keep the girls from the stage?” Casper asks. I shake my head but leave it at that. The girls are screaming as Lug shakes his ass on stage. It has to be something he learned from Lilly. Even Trina and Anna are screaming and laughing.
’t think Casper’s mouth has closed the whole time he is watching. “ Since it is Halloween I say we play something for the occasion.” Niel says. And they do a mashup of Thriller and Heads Will Roll. The whole band dancing around in moves they have worked out with Lilly. They even have the crowd dancing. But my eyes are on Lilly working her body.

After Neil and Lilly did two more songs including a duet, Lug Nut comes to the front of the stage. He takes Lilly’s hand and says “ Before we take a brake there is one last song I want to do. This one is rather special to Songbird and me. You see there are some people in the audience that are family to us.” Our group starts cheering. I can’t help but laugh at the antics. “ But this song is for someone we admire for their actions. You see they met a woman I view as a sister. She came to us as a widow with two of the cutest little boys I view as my nephews. And instead of walking away they stepped up to be the dads these boys didn’t have. Brother, this is for you.” Then Lug started singing Elvie Shane’s ‘My Boy’. With Lilly playing the acoustic guitar.

We are a bunch of hard bikers but that song.It was the first time I have heard it. And man it got to all of us. It describes what Axel and Rowdy did perfectly. I even had to wipe a stray tear from my eyes. Merigold’s had them flowing as well as Trina and Anna. Axel and Rowdy are trying to hide it but I can see the tears in their eyes as well. When Lug finishes singing he says “ For all of you that have stepped up to be a parent when you didn’t have to. We salute you. Now we are going to take a quick break. But hang around for the second part of the show.” The lights dim as the crowd cheers.

Casper looks at us “ I got to tell you. I didn’t expect to see a decent concert in a hole in the wall like this place but I have to admit it was damn good. But the girl is what made it. She is really good.” We look up when we hear a commotion. I see Lilly covered in her cloak again walking through the middle of the crowd flanked by the band and Goof. They are parting the way to let her through. She was smiling and shaking hands as she went. She wasn’t rushing through or turning anyone away. Anyone who wanted to talk to her got a chance. Finally she got over to us. Trina, Thor Brick and Ace got to her first, hugging her and telling her what a great job she did. Axel, Rowdy and Merigold hugged Lug Nut “ Brother, that was one heck of a song. Thank you.”

Viper snags Lilly “ Songbird, there is someone I want you to meet.” He takes her over to Casper. Casper stands up ready to greet Lilly. When she is in front of him his jaw drops. Viper smiles knowing he figured out who it is. Viper smirks “ Songbird this is Casper. I’m sure you remember seeing him around the club a time or two. And he helped provide some guys for security.” Casper holds his hand out as Viper says “ Casper meet Songbird” Viper leans in and says quietly “ Or as we like to call her Lilly.” Lilly holds her hand out and Viper guides her to Casper’s hand. “ Casper, it is good to see you again. And thank you for letting Viper borrow some of you guys to help. I hope you enjoyed the show so far.” “ Yes, I am. You are really good.” Casper says. Lilly smiles “ Yes they are.” There again not taking any credit for herself.


Before I can tell my girl how proud I am of her and how good she looks, Harry brings some people over. “ Songbird, guys, these people would like to have an interview.” Lilly looks confused. “ Interview?” she asks. One guy steps up “ Yes, I’m Marcus and this is Fitch.” he says pointing to the other guy. “ We are from the W.A.S.P 102.1. The radio station. We were hoping to get an interview with you before you go on again.” Lilly looks around with a look that says ‘ help’. Lug Nut comes to the rescue “ Sure we can do an interview with you. Where do you want to do it?” I look at Lug like he has lost his mind. He looks at me and mouths “ Trust me.” I just nod and let them escort Lilly off for an interview. I may not like it but it is good for her and the guys. This is for Lilly so I keep my mouth shut. I would do anything for Lilly including letting her enjoy her time in the limelight.
