Chapter 56

Tank

As much as I didn’t want to leave my beautiful girl this morning I had to. Viper, Ace and I are going to interrogate our new friend. But before I left I made sure coffee was ready for her when she came down stairs. I placed her cup in her usual spot so she didn’t have to reach for it. I give Lilly a kiss goodbye so she knows I’m leaving and will be back as soon as I can. She murmurs bye and goes back to sleep. I know my girl is tired. We made love several times last night and I know her poor body is sore and exhausted. Hell I’m a bit sore myself but in the best way. I have gone several rounds before with the bunnies. A couple of times I had two bunnies pleasing me. But last night made all of the times I spent with women before Lilly gone from my memory. Those times didn’t count for anything. Last night was the greatest night of my life. And one I intend on repeating as often as possible. I have never been with someone who took care of me the way Lilly did. And I have never taken care of a girl before but with Lilly it was instinct to do it.

I walk into the club to find Viper. I want to get answers now. Luck is with me when I see him waiting for me with Ace. “ You ready for this?” Ace asks. “ Been ready since this shit started. We make our way to the basement but I don’t see a prospect guarding the door. Before I can ask Viper where the guard is I see Goof running towards us. “ Goof what the hell? You aren’t supposed to leave the door.” I yelled. “ It wasn’t my job. It was Screwball's job. But I just saw him coming out of the gym looking for Viper. Said he had a message to meet Viper there.” What the fuck. I run to the door and yank it open. I see the guy Gab still chained to the chair we left him in. Good. But I also see Nessa on her knees going to town on the guy’s dick. So she is why we didn’t have a guard on the door.

“ What the fuck do yoiu think you are doing Nessa?” Viper yells. But he doesn’t wait for an answer. “ Goof get her the fuck out of here. Lock her in a room and don’t leave until I personally tell you.” Goof yanks Nessa off the floor and begins to drag her out. Viper turns to look at Nessa and gives her a scary smirk but says to Goof “ And call Merigold. Tell her we found a traitor and need her special skills.” Nessa starts screaming “ No, don't call Merigold. She said I wouldn’t get caught. Please, I won’t do anything like this again. Don’t call Merigold. I’ll do anything.” Her screams fade as Goof drags her out of the basement. I shake my head when will these girls learn. Another problem for another day.

Viper stands in front of Gab “ I don’t have time to fuck around. You are going to answer my questions or we will fuck you up. If you don’t believe me, ask your friend over there.” Viper points to a chained up beaten Mark. “ Just answer them man. The money isn’t worth it.” Mark says. Gab turns to Mark “ You're just a pussy. They don’t scare me.” Mark shakes his head “ Your funeral.” Viper starts asking questions “ Who hired you to kidnap the girl?” “ Fuck off. I’m not telling you shit. Like I said I’m not scared of you.”

Like Viper said we don’t have time for this shit. I step up and kick him in his knee with my steel toe boot. I love the cracking sound I hear. “ Again who do you work for?” “ Don’t know what you are talking about.” I go for the other knee. “ Again” Viper says. Man it creeps me out when he is calm like this. I get my brass knuckles out. Time to go to work. Because he is in a chair there are places I can’t get to but I don’t mind being creative. I walk around to his back and land a solid punch to just below his neck. Enough to cause some serious pain without too much damage. Gab screams out like the pussy he accused Mark of being.

“ Who is pulling your strings?” Viper asks. The guy doesn’t answer. I go for the spot just behind his left ear. A punch won’t damage his ear drum but it will give you a horrible ringing that will take hours to go away. And the knuckles leave a nasty bruise. “ Try again.” Nothing. I go for his rib cage using it as a punching bag. After the fourth hit he caves. “ His name is Angelo Constantine. He said he was the girl's uncle. He needed our help to get her back.” Gab wheezes. “ And you thought it was a good idea to cross us to do it.” Viper asks. “ He said you would get tired of her whiny bullshit. And he said she wouldn’t put out for you so you had no use for and would get rid of her. It was supposed to be an easy snatch and grab. Easy money.” Viper loses control and smashes Gab’s nose. “ You were going to snacth an innocent young girl for money. A girl I see as a sister.”

“ I didn’t know. I need the money. I don’t care who she is. He said he needed money and she could get it for him in more ways than one. I didn’t know you would come to care for her. Constantine said no one would care about her; she was too much trouble.” I want to beat this shit stain into the floor. How dare he talk about my girl like this. “ Where can we find him?” Viper asks. “ He is all over the place. He has a house in town that he said belonged to his brother. He has a hang out he goes to to get high.” Gab lays this all out including a phone number. “ Tank shut him up.” Viper says. Gladly. One punch to the face and it lights out for this piece of garbage.

When we get back upstairs Merigold is at the bar waiting for us. “ This better be good to interrupt me.” she snaps. Wow, someone is cranky. “ Did I interrupt something,Princess?” Viper asks. Merigold hops off her bar stool and steps up to Viper. She is the only one who can do that shit and not get hurt. Viper smirks at her attitude. She is a little firecracker. “ As a matter of fact you did. I had all the kids down for a nap. I was getting a full body massage from Rowdy that I was hoping was going to have a happy ending.” The smirk on Viper’s face leaves and he groans “ Just stop. I don’t want to hear anymore. Yes,you are married and have four kids. But as far as I’m concerned my little sister is still a virgin.” Merigold laughs “ Whatever works for you big brother. Now why did you call me here.”

Viper explains what we found when we got to the basement. And since it is a woman we won’t lay a hand on her. “ Viper, I love you with every bit of my heart. And I would never question your authority. But these bunnies are getting out of control. I was hoping that the shit that happened to me was an isolated instance. But it isn’t. They are getting out of control. You have to do something before they do some serious damage. They should be punished for interfering with ol’e ladies.” Viper knows what Merigold is saying is true. “ You are right. But for right now can we deal with Nessa first.” Fine” Merigold grumbles something about us owing her.

We see Goof standing outside the office Merigold uses sometimes when she does work here. Viper dismisses him and we all go in. Merigold knows what we need so we let her take over. I look over at Merigold and see a change in her face. Gone is the sweet, fun-loving Merigold. This is take no prisoners Merigold. And she is scary. Merigold sets a bag I didn’t see her carrying on the desk with a thud. She pulls some rope out of it. “ Tie her up. I don’t want her moving if this gets messy. Take her phone and have Brick go through it.” Merigold orders. Ace steps and ties Nessa down. Viper takes her phone. Merigold looks at Nessa `` Looks like you haven’t learned your lesson yet. You have been told repeatedly not to fuck with my family. But you just can’t seem to listen. This time I’m going to make sure you do with the help of this bag of toys Alaric sent me.” Oh shit. This is about to get interesting.

Merigold takes a pair of pliers out of the bag “ Now I know what you were doing in the basement. What I want to know is why?” Nessa gets cocky “ They won’t let you hurt me. You forget Merigold. You are an outsider no matter whose blood you have in your whore of a body. You can’t do anything to me. Viper won’t let you. You are nothing.” Viper comes forward but Merigold stops him. “ My show Viper?” she asks. Viper nods and steps back. “ Since you are so sure they will stop me, let's put it to the test.” Merigold takes the pliers to one of Nessa’s earrings and yanks. Pulling the earring out. Nessa screams and looks at us for help. We don’t move or say a word. “ You ready to tell why you were in the basement.” Merigold asks. “ You think you can do this to me. You are nothing. Brit is right you should be gone. Axel and Rowdy will see you are nothing and leave you. And I'll be waiting for them.” Merigold goes for Nessa’s nose ring next. Yank and it is out. Nessa screams “ Viper help me. Why are you letting her do this?” This time Viper steps forward “ Because you have wronged this club. Because you are still spouting bullshit about Merigold being an outsider. Merigold is my sister. She is more important than you or any other bunny but you just don’t get it. I will get rid of all of you if this keeps becoming a problem. Not that it is going to matter to you. Since when Merigold is done with you I’m tossing your ass out and having you blacklisted from any of our allies.” Viper backs off and let’s Merigold continue.
