CHAPTER 43: REID’S SCHEME

She thought that she will be having one quiet term since her family was no longer bothering her anymore. But what she never expected was to find herself in such a funny situation like this.

As a cultivator, K was sensitive to her surroundings, so when she noticed that she had been followed for many days in a row she became very suspicious of the people behind this. K wanted to remove the root of the problem and killing wasn’t something she wanted to do in this life if other methods can be used.

So, she put the gang of four that tried to kidnap her the other time that was sent by Emerald for surveillance. She wanted to shame these people so much that they won’t be able to see the light of day.

As usual, K pretended as if she wasn’t aware of what was happening around her and by then numerous slanderous information on her was going viral on the internet.

She was labeled as a whore and gold-digging person; she was also labeled as un-filial as she didn’t take into account her own family. It was also said that she caused her adoptive mother to die simply because she was poor and because of her calculative nature she killed her to get access into the Reid family.

The issue of her pushing that girl because of jealousy over a young man also resurfaced and details of her serving a two-year sentence also were exposed. Because of this record parents from her current school and other students began to protest and called for the management to kick her out of the school.

As if that wasn’t enough, it was also written that she schemed herself into the Holmes family and she had been keeping numerous sugar daddies to maintain her lifestyle. Someone also exposed that she was living in a high-end villa that costs millions and the money didn’t come from her parents.

Wherever she went people looked at her with disgust and disdain. She didn’t put them in her eyes as she was waiting for the flames to burn even higher than before. She wanted to see these people drown in their own shame and the best way to do was for her to gain people’s sympathy.

There were many ways of killing and ending a person but using the netizens was a very good and efficient way of dealing with such scheming people. Since they wanted to use this method to deal with her then she was also going to use it for her counter-attack.

“This should have died down already if you haven’t stopped mom from making a statement,” Flora was angry as she spoke to K. how can K be so calm when people were busy muddying her like that?

Flora had witnessed just how great this girl was. She even believed it in her own heart that she may have many riches and she didn’t care about how K got them. For someone great like her it will be plausible that she had resources with her.

Her family knew that K owns that boutique that was cashing in millions every day, so what use will she have for a sugar daddy. She just wanted to hit those bad people and seek justice for her god sister.

“You don’t have to worry about me. Soon this whole thing will be done and over. I will uproot them all at once, so be patient,” K comforted Flo who was flushing with anger. She looked so cute that she had the urge to pinch her cheeks.

“But…”

“There will be a drama to watch later so until then just ignore everyone.”

After calming Flora K returned back to class but before she could sit, she was called to the principal office. She never thought that they will act so quickly. She didn’t let them wait for long but rushed to the office to hear what ruling awaits her.

“Do you know why you are here?” the principal asked her with a scowl on his face.

How could she not sense what this man was feeling right now, especially towards her?

He looked very disgusted while looking at her but there was nothing that she can do at the moment to ease that disgust.

“I am not aware, sir,” she replied calmly which only angered the older man more.

“Impudent!” the principal hit the desk with his hand and K wondered if he was in pain right now after using so much force? Why should he torment himself when he was this old?

“Not only have you caused shame for yourself but brought the whole school such disgrace and you act all high and mighty as if you aren’t aware of anything?”
K looked at the older man with cold eyes which sent icy shivers making him shudder while being stared at.

“Seeing your attitude right now, I believe that no matter what I say you will never listen to me. Since you have concluded how about you give the verdict to me and stop wasting each other’s time?” K didn’t really want to get scolded by a person who didn’t know how to judge right from wrong. Why should she beg and plead when they already see her as a criminal?

“Such an un-filial child! I don’t want to waste my time with you, from here onwards the school is expelling you,” the principal spoke firmly which meant that this had been approved by everyone.

“Hahahaha, are you sure you really want to expel me?”

“This is the decision that has been made; don’t let your shameless spoil the reputation of this school. You can go and pack your bags!” with that K was dismissed ruthlessly from the office.

She couldn’t stop laughing coldly as she looked at the old man who had expelled her from the school, she was admitted by the owner himself. She wondered if Mr. Macy was aware of this.

“I have one more question for you before I leave, I wonder if you can give me an answer?”

“Go ahead and ask.”

“Is the owner of the school aware of this decision?”

“You mean Mr. Macy? How can this decision be made if he didn’t agree? Even if he was the one to bring you here, you need to understand that he is also a businessman and needs profits to survive,” hearing that from the principal her eyes became cold.

Some people were very narrow-minded. Just because of a short glitch he threw her under the bus. She was going to make him regret so bad that even if he were to crawl and beg she will never forgive him. He should have at least given her a heads up.

She calmly left the office, as if she just didn’t get expelled. On her way to her class to collect her belongings, she took out her phone and tried to call Mr. Macy but the phone wasn’t going through. She had been blacklisted, she also tried calling Aaron the son but the result was the same.

This was a good time for her to remove the weeds that will only hinder her from her growth. Since they had blacklisted her number, she only sent Mr. Macy a message before she waltzed back to the class.

The students all looked at her as she packed her belongings.

“Why are you packing?” another girl asked curiously.

“I have been expelled just like the whole of you wanted,” she replied calmly as if the news didn’t relate to her at all.

“Did she really get expelled?”

“Good riddance!”

“Now we can be in peace.”

“This is not fair, aren’t they just rumors?”

“Yes, who has the proof or evidence of everything posted on the web?”

So many statements were being issued out and she simply listened to them until she was done. She carried her satchel and held her books in her hands. Without looking back, she left the class she had been for months now.

Since schools didn’t accept her then she was just going to home school herself and then registering for college entrance exams as an individual. After this ordeal, she didn’t have much faith in the education system besides she had been so curious about the high school which was the reason why she went there in the first place.

Since it was better and faster for her to study by herself then she was not going to torment herself anymore. With so much time on her hands, she will focus on her business and other things that require her attention.

As she was leaving, she spotted Flora who was out of breath since she was running.

“What are you doing here instead of being in class?”

“I just read a post on the school forum; did you just get expelled?” Flora still couldn’t believe this shit so she had to ask.

“Umm, I have been expelled and going back home now,” she answered calmly to the question.

“We need to do something right now!” Flo decided that enough is enough; she wasn’t going to allow the bullying to continue anymore. This thing needed to be clarified otherwise K’s life was going to its demise.

“Didn’t I tell you to be patient? Soon the answers will be given on a silver platter. I will be fine, so don’t worry about me and go to class. Don’t tell godmother about this.”

After placating the wild rabbit K finally left the school campus and took a taxi back to her villa. The show was just about to start and she was going to make those Reid’s pay for the humiliation she had just gone through these past few days.
