CHAPTER 55: A DRIVE

K currently had everything except for a car. She delayed buying one back in Dielas since she was planning on moving and since she had done so now, it was time for her to choose her drive.

K changed into a pair of red shorts, a white t-shirt, and black pumps, accompanied by a red handbag that contained her cellphone and wallet.

She called for a taxi while she and Lil White enjoyed their breakfast, when the taxi arrived K left the mansion with the tiger as it was inconvenient to leave it at home. She wanted the little thing to see the world.

The taxi driver simply smiled at her and looked at the kitten in her hands. The man didn’t even suspect that this kitten was not an ordinary one.

K was dropped at the automobile park where many car dealers were located. This gave her a great choice as she could go around and check which car suited her the most.

K was someone who always loved living a fancy life and one way to do that was to own a fancy car. She looked around two dealers before she was attracted by one red sports car.

K quickly rushed inside and looked at the beautiful thing right in front of her. The agent quickly rushed to where she was with a business smile on his face. He could see the interest of the young girl in that car which had been brought in a day ago.

“Dear customer, how can I help you?”

“Sir, how much is this car?”

The agent was not an arrogant person; he could tell that this person was rich despite her clothing. The clothes worn by the girl may look very ordinary but as someone who mingled with the rich and wealthy most of the time, he knew that looks can be deceiving.

“This is the latest car in our store and ……………….”

K nodded with satisfaction as she listened to the man, she could tell that this brand was new since she had always been a huge fan of sports cars, she had owned a number of them in her previous life and they were not as costly as this one but this money was also changed to her.

After hearing the whole backstory about the car, K smiled at the man and said words that shocked the other, “I will buy it in cash right now.”

“This…”

K took out the diamond card that she used since she only owns one card which was given to her the day she applied for the V.V.I.P membership at the bank.

Seeing a familiar bank card, the agent didn’t dilly dally and took K for a test drive. He knew that she would have bought it without the test drive but still, he needed to let the client do it.

A very happy K drove the car back into the store filled with so much energy but the agent was pale. He had never met a crazy driver like that before. He thought that he will be dying before he even got a chance to marry his girlfriend who had been waiting for him for years so that he can gather the money for their life.

“I love this one, let’s sort out the papers quickly,” an enthusiastic K spoke as she went to the couch to sit.

The other dealer agents couldn’t help but feel envy for the agent and pity for him at the same time. They all witnesses the crazy driving and were glad that it wasn’t them in the car.

But just thinking of the commission that the agent was going to receive made their hearts ache.

The agent recovered quickly and began to sort out the documents for the purchase of the car. The manager had to join them as this was a huge purchase. After an hour K was done with the buying process, the car was now in her name and the plates were already sorted out.

She looked at the message on her phone showing that over fifty million had been transferred to the car dealer store and her heart didn’t bleed because what soothed her was the balance remaining.

Her money had dwindled a lot after starting Triumph Ltd and the company had not begun to bring in profits but Pixyfly didn’t let her down as millions were made in a day. She didn’t care about the tax she paid to the tax regulators as long as the money keeps on coming in.

They all watched in awe as the car was driven out once more and this time it wasn’t coming back.

“Which family is she from?”

“She just spent it like nothing.”

“Being rich is very good.”

The people in the car dealer store kept on talking after K left with her new ride making some few people from wealthy families remember her name.

“Find everything about her,” a tall and beautiful lady ordered as she gritted her teeth.

She had come a bit too late and the car was already bought by someone. She truly didn’t like losing especially to a kid who likes spending her family’s money. She was going to find her and teach her a lesson. No one messes with her. If she can’t have it then no one else will.

K who was enjoying her ride didn’t know that she had made an enemy by purchasing her own car with her own money.

The next destination for K was Triumph Ltd and since Paula knew that she was coming, she was already waiting for her. When Paula saw the red sports car stopping right in front of the building, she wondered which client had come but she was shocked when she saw her young boss coming out of the car holding a kitten in her hands.

She didn’t know what to do. She knew the other had money but buying a car for more than fifty million, was petrifying.

“Krystal, welcome,” Paula suppressed her envy and greeted her boss who didn’t like being boss or missed by her.

“It’s nice to be finally here, let’s head inside,” K said as she played with her kitten.

The company had its own parking lot both outside and underground. She had locked her car and no one will be able to drive it away without her consent.
K followed Paula inside, ignoring the looks of her employees who seemed curious about her identity. They took the private elevator that leads straight to the top floor where her unused office was as well as Paula’s.

“Your office is clean and we can use it if you want.”

“Umm, let’s go there. I am curious about it,” K smiled as she followed Paula to the office.

They were greeted by some female assistants who were ordered to make some snacks and juice for K while the two entered the office. The assistant didn’t understand what was going on as the office belonged to the Chairman whom everyone had never seen.

Even their C.E.O Paula didn’t enter that office at will but now she was leading a young girl into that office. Just who the hell was this young girl?

However, their questions were quickly answered as they overhead the title boss from Paula who was in the middle of reporting the company situation to K.

“This is the owner of the company, make sure to remember her face just in case she comes back next time. You are not allowed to reveal her identity. Do you understand?” Paula introduced sternly while looking at the assistants’ which just embarrassed her.

K smiled and laughed lightly before saying, “Don’t scare them. I am just a bit young and haven’t gotten my high school diploma yet. I simply want some peace and quiet and I hope that you will help me with that.”

What K said even dropped a huge bomb on their heads. Their boss was a high schooler. Just what kind of riches did she have to start such an amazing company like this? They were motivated and they looked at K with respect and admiration.

“It’s good to see you, boss!”

“Just call me Krystal, the boss makes me sound old and tyranny,” K chuckled as she noticed that the tension had lessened.

Paula dismissed the assistants and resumed the talk with Krystal.

“I will send another one hundred million to the company’s account, I want you to open a few stores for Pixyfly. I will have the goods delivered once everything is in order.”

Paula knew that her boss own Pixyfly, a boutique that sold high-quality clothes that drove everyone crazy. It was just a pity that the clothes were sold only in Dielas but with her expanding the store, it meant that she meant business.

She was very happy to hear that as she was one of the people who desperately wanted to own at least one gown from the store.

“I will get everything sorted out soon.”

“Oh, and another thing, help me locate this person’s whereabouts. When you find him send me the details and this is urgent,” K said after she sent the money to Paula as she wrote down the name of her previous butler as well as his age.

Paula knew not to ask some of the orders that she was given as she knows that her boss wasn’t involved in any illegal activities.

After finishing up her snacks and orange juice, Paula escorted K out but she refused and left the building by herself. She had already raised a number of suspicions which had already brought a lot of attention to her.

K left the office complex and drove to the nearest vet clinic where she had Lil White receive some shots before going to shop for some toys for him. He was a lonely beast and he needed something to occupy himself with.

The two happy souls drove back to the mansion leaving a lot of unanswered questions to those that saw the red car zooming by.
