CHAPTER 69: EXAM REGISTRATION

After settling the issue with her companies, K was now rested at home studying her books seriously. She was revising she was done with the syllabus; her job now was to do some exam-related questions when her men were not at home.

Having the guys at the mansion with her was satisfying, she didn’t have to cook as they love to bring breakfast to her in bed. It was more of compensation since they toss her every single night.

B.B was more available than J as J sometimes will be busy and traveling to different cities for his activities. As for B.B, if he is not at school, he will be with his friends and then back at the mansion.

K didn’t make any new friends in Valletta since she spent her time at home reading, cultivating, and playing with Kathy or Lil White. When she had free time, she will help her sect members with their cultivation and for Peter and his family, it was easy since they all lived together.

During that time Peter recruited a number of people in the sect and K tested them for a long time before accepting them. She gave them a chance and it was their choice to what they will do in the future.

Kathy despite being young had the great innate ability and she was a wonder. The little girl worked hard and also play hard. She really liked her a lot that K had these thoughts of having a baby of her own.

By going to college, K wanted to fulfill a dream of hers she couldn’t fulfill when she was M; she wanted to see what it was like being at college and if it’s boring then she will just drop out of school or graduate early. She wasn’t planning on spending four years at college while learning something she can by herself in less than a year.

This day was special as K was supposed to go and register for her entrance exams. She had B.B with her who didn’t go to school as it was the weekend. J was not at home as he was busy recording his next album, he found inspiration and wrote his own songs this time. She was very happy for him and couldn’t wait to hear the songs becoming popular once more.

As for her songwriter profession, she left it aside for a while as she was in no mood to make someone else popular.

The two were taking K’s car since B.B was in love with the car modifications. In order to modify his car, K had to buy it from the system but since this was different from her reward, it was taking a bit longer than normal.

So, B.B was now driving her car while she sat in the passenger seat. She didn’t care really as she just loves it whenever she is with any one of them.

B.B like a kid who received his favorite candy drove the car smoothly and very fast. K was busy singing to the love song that J sang and the two were very happy and harmonious.

Those that saw the red sports car passing by couldn’t help but envy the driver, this was one famous expensive car and it was a car that was being seen recently on the T.V and in movies. To see one being driven like this on the road was just a miracle.

B.B arrived at the destination which happens to be a test center where K was going to register. The place was filled with a number of people and anyone could see that more than thirty percent of the people came from affluent families.

When they saw the red car, they all gasped, for those young boys who understood cars began to talk like chatterboxes immediately. As for the girls they were checking themselves to see if they look presentable just in case the person who comes out is male.

However, they were doomed to be disappointed as B.B didn’t look at them but went to open the passenger door where a young beautiful girl showed up. She was just like a fairy and the boys present wanted to strike a conversation with her but when they saw how possessive this other guy was, they all knew that the girl was taken and the girls saw that the guy was taken.

They hated this girl so much that they wanted to use their family power to show her who is the boss but when they saw the girl’s cold penetrating eyes, they quickly dismissed the idea.

The registration took place very harmoniously and K managed to register herself after waiting for an hour. With the help of B.B who had a network of connections, it was easy and since her place of residence was in Valletta, things were very easy.

The college entrance exams were to happen in three months and she still has a lot of time. When she was done registering and received her number, she left the room with B.B but was stopped by a certain girl.

K checked this girl and discovered that she was just a diamond hidden in the sand. Her aura was that of a martial artist but her level was just too low for her. She was that kind of person who would look down on like an ant.

She only has to use her finger to deal with her but for a normal girl, she was pretty strong and could cause a lot of damage. Since she was interested in this girl she decided to wait and listen to what she wanted to say.

“My name is Casey; do you mind if we sit somewhere and talk?” Casey introduced herself.

Seeing how polite she was, K didn’t mind and looked at her man.

“There is a café nearby, I will drive you there,” B.B offered and she nodded her head.

B.B told the young girl the name of the café and the three left in their respective cars. Casey was being driven in a black sedan by a driver and K could tell that she came from one of those well-known families. It didn’t hurt to make one more friend.

K had B.B stay away since this was a girl talk, he didn’t mind and did his own things while the two girls sat in the corner while having some cappuccino.

“What is it that you want, I don’t have all day?” K asked a bit rudely but she really didn’t have time to play. She was planning on going on a date with B.B and she didn’t want to waste any second of it.

When Casey saw how impatient the other girl became, she panicked. She knew that what she did was very impulsive but it was the first time she met someone around her age who possessed such a strong and powerful aura.

With one glance she could tell that the other girl was a grandmaster and even more powerful than her grandfather. She wanted to befriend someone like this and maybe ask for pointers. She desperately wanted to be strong otherwise her life will be left in other people’s hands.

“I am sorry about all this but can you please listen to my story?”

“Go ahead and it better be important,” K inside was very happy. People with stories were easy to hook as they can do anything to achieve whatever they want and she needed some genius in her sect and this Casey was one of them.

“I come from a family that values martial arts, you can consider us to be a martial arts family but our rank is lower than others in the martial arts community. It is very difficult to get resources so males are given priority over females.

We females are given to other powerful families for marriage and the same thing is happening to me. If I am not strong enough then I will be married by that rascal. I hate him, he is not just a player but he is abusive.

I need to be strong but no one is willing to help me. No one can afford to offend that family, which is why I wanted to speak to you,” Casey was teary as she spoke.

K could tell that the girl was left with no option at all. She hated people who discriminate and push their thoughts on others. Since she could help her then she will do her best.

“Why did you choose me?” K was very curious so she asked.

“I have this feeling that you are stronger than my grandfather, the aura around you creeps me out.”

“And you still came to me?”

“I will do anything to be strong.”

Hearing her conviction, she nodded her head with satisfaction.

“Give me your hand.”

Casey quickly gave her hand over to K who held it for seconds before letting it go.

“I can only help you if you join my sect but you will start from the bottom. You will have to forget about everything that you were taught, so your first test is for you to abolish your martial arts,” K spoke seriously as she looked at Casey.

She wasn’t surprised much when she saw her shocked expression when she spoke. She knew how hard it was for one to abolish his or her martial arts but for someone like her, she didn’t want her people to practice someone else’s martial arts when she has her own.

“This…”

“I have nothing more to say to you. When you think about it then come to this place and I will take you in. your actions will determine how I will treat you,” K said as she slides the card, she wrote her address on to Casey.

She will let her think it over and she will take her in by then.

Casey sat on her seat frozen, she couldn’t believe what Krystal had just said. She could tell that she was disappointed in her when she hesitated but she just couldn’t accept that someone can just make her abolish everything she worked hard for all her entire life.

When she came back to reality Krystal was gone, she picked up the card and searched the address on google. When she found the location, she gasped. She knew how expensive mansions like that cost.

She couldn’t possibly lie to her right? Casey returned to the car and went home. She had a lot to think about.
