CHAPTER 45: NETIZENS RAGE

The case of Krystal had gone viral and everyone that saw the video went into so much rage that they didn’t stop typing. Everyone scolded the Reid family that it was such a great party.

[How can a mother be this shameful? When I first saw it, I thought she was her stepdaughter!]

[She is very shameless and cruel. To think that a mother can be this cruel to her own child, this woman truly has taught me something.]

[Justice should be served for the poor child. I still hurt whenever I recall how they beat her ruthlessly for an hour. They should be sent to jail.]

K laughed as she read the comments on the web, it was very difficult to stop people from talking. She didn’t mind anything at all, what she wanted had already been achieved. The Reid family was now finished. All of them will be serving their time in prison and having a taste of what they made the previous K went through.

She still remembered how she was taken to the hospital and how Anne and Flora made a huge fuss when they came to the hospital. She pretended to be sleeping so that the police will leave her for a while.

Anne had her transferred to the V.I.P ward where she received top-notch treatment. When she woke up Anne silently cried, she had to calm the older woman down in the end.

When the police arrived, she explained in detail what had happened that day from the second she left her villa complex, her abduction process which she didn’t go into further details since she was supposed to be knocked out.

When she heard about the live stream, she even looked more shocked that she sobbed in front of the officers which made them feel so bad. When she was asked why she was crying, she remembered her answer very clearly.

“I can no longer walk around with my head held high. I always thought that as long as I know it alone then it will be okay, I can still eat and live like a normal person but now everyone has seen me. What am I going to do?”

K had cried her guts out that she completely threw her coolness aside. What she wanted to do was to get rid of the suspicion that she might have shot the whole thing herself or have people in cahoots with her.

Luckily for her, the officers took their statement and left her for more investigations. Aunt Grace was also busy bringing her food to the hospital which made her warm and as for Flora the young girl spent most of her time with her.

What she never expected was for her two boyfriends to see the video which only angered them more. Thanks to them the fire was even fanned more, they simply tagged the video and wrote words that looked down upon the Reid’s family.

These two were very powerful and have a large fan base, this also meant that those fans in order to support their idols simply scolded the Reid’s left and right every single chance that they got.

She didn’t want to worry the two so she told them that she was okay and they shouldn’t come to see her. B.B was busy with school and she didn’t want him coming to see her instead of studying. J was in the middle of a concert and she didn’t want him to ruin all that for her.

She knew after all that she was just playing along. She could leave the hospital and get rid of the scars in just hours but she didn’t want to do that. She wanted to teach them a lesson on behalf of the original Krystal, this is what those people owe her. They have driven her to her death and this was time for payback.

K continued reading through the comments once more on her tablet and every single thing she read made her giggle and laugh. This was truly interesting.

This message was attached to a video which K also clicked to view. She was curious what these people were cooking this time. She watched the video for a while and kept herself from crying.

She had no idea who this person was but it looked like her history, someone had pieced through photos and videos of herself from when she went to that high school after Portia passed away.

The video was thirty minutes long and all her bullying was clearly shown. This proceeded to when she was arrested when she was released. Someone even took pictures of her being thrown out of the Reid’s mansion after being released.

She seemed to have a stalker and this was very bad. She was relieved that ever since she took over the body, she had been so vigilant that she didn’t allow anyone to follow her unless she allowed it.

The video showed the bet between herself and the teacher and the moment she had won after studying hard. This video also continued to show everything until the current issue. In other words, the whole video gathered a lot of sympathy for her which only made the netizens scold the Reid’s more.

As a result, for all this, issues related to abuse were also discussed and this was something that happened in the future. She became a starting point for many people in the same situation.

K was admitted for three days before she was discharged. Instead of returning to her villa, Annie took her to the Holmes mansion to recuperate. Her god family had been so frantic ever since the incident. They even wanted her to live with them but she couldn’t do that at all after all everything was just a trap she set up for her family.

K was having some orange juice while basking in the sun at the back garden of the Holmes mansion. She sensed someone approaching and since there wasn’t any malice towards her, she just let the person approach.

When she saw Fredrick taking a seat in one of the chairs, she simply smiled at him politely. She could tell that this man was aware of something and he was here to get some clarity.

“Ask what you want to ask,” K decided not to beat around the bush.

“Did you set them up?”

“Yes, I did. It was time for payback, they have done so many bad things and I kept mum. I am tired now and all I want is to live a quiet life without complications,” she smiled at him as she spoke.

She didn’t care what the others will see her as. The life she first lived was even crueler than this one. She simply taught them a lesson, made them lose what they desired the most but kept their lives. Shouldn’t they be grateful?

“Now I see. You hide well too deep.”

“Even a rabbit knows how to bite,” she said dismissively and Fredrick got it.

She was closer to the females rather than the males as she didn’t want to spread the wrong ideas. Misunderstandings can be easily made. Since he got the answer, he wanted and saw that K was no longer looking in his direction Fredrick excused himself and returned back into the mansion.

The downcast look on his face was seen by Annie who smiled at him and patted his shoulder.

“She is someone who is out of our league. She holds so many secrets but I believe that as long as you are true to her, she will never raise her hand against you,” Annie spoke her words directed to her son.

“I know.”

“Do you have feelings for her?”

“Even if I do, she doesn’t have any of us in her eyes. It will be just good to remain as siblings like this,” Fredrick said and left his mother with a very curious look on her face.

He didn’t know when it started but he began to fall for her slowly but he could see and tell that she didn’t harbor any kind of emotions for him or his other brothers. She had already created that border between them and zoned them as brothers. They were casual to each other and nothing more.

He had seen her many times texting on her phone with huge smiles pasted on her face. He was no fool to not see that her face carries the emotion of love. The vacation made someone steal her heart. He was curious to see the kind of person who was making her smile so brightly like that and if that person was worthy of her.

He remembered that she went to prison merely because of a boy and he didn’t want to see her suffer anymore. After this kidnapping case, he had seen for himself how capable she was of taking care of herself. However, he didn’t want to see her suffer because some boy toyed with her heart.

Fredrick shook his head and returned to his room for a cold shower.
