EXTRA 2: FLORA

Flora was the only girl in her family, spoiled and pampered by her family, and never lacked anything in her life. Being born in a rich family was good for her as she got everything that wanted and whenever she wanted it.

As a child, she also knows how to be grateful and worked hard in her studies, and didn’t slack off. She didn’t want to bring her family down simply because she was loved.

Flora was the school belle’s, a girl that attracted anything and anyone wherever she went. Flora can be considered a flower that attracted a lot of bees but as someone who was taught well by the family, she knew not to shame her family by falling for just anyone, which is why she never dated anyone.

Her brothers taught her very well that most of the boys only want what she can give them and not her heart. She heard some guys talking behind her back and what her brothers spoke about was truly true. So, from then onwards, she didn’t make any friends and kept everyone at arm’s length.

She just wanted to graduate and be happy but who knew she will get kidnapped and nearly lost her chastity and life. If it wasn’t for Krystal that day who came and rescued her from those men, she would have been long gone.

Flora didn’t know Krystal at all but after seeing her school identity card she knew who her savior who didn’t ask for anything in return was. For the first time in her life, she decided to befriend someone. She didn’t care about what the world thought of Krystal.

What she cared for was the person who saved her life and not the one from the past. So, she tried her shameful schemes just to be closer to her, and luckily after some time, Krystal accepted her friendship.

Having Krystal in her life changed her a lot, she got another sister in form of a god sister who was a great help to her. She got to eat a lot of good food, wore great clothes and her studies improved for the better.

With K around her, she got to experience what it was like to have a friend and a sister. Whenever she saw her being blackened like that her heart ached but she knew that she was strong so she cheered for her.

When she left Dielas for Valletta she was hurt but she knew that K had her own life that she should live. In order not to let her sister down, she didn’t slack around but dedicated herself even more to her studies so that one day she will be able to be by her side and don’t remain behind.

She learnt how-to see-through people, those that were good to her and those that weren’t. she understood the great lengths her family goes through each time to give her what she wants and keep her safe.

Flora had a dream and that was to have something of her own and seeing the clothes that K sold, she decided to become a fashion designer as clothes became her passion. She wanted to be able to let her god sister wear something even more fabulous than she made herself.

She was not going to stop until the day she achieves that dream. Being with her family and growing daily was a blessing. She also trained herself so that in the future she won’t let the case of kidnapping happen without a fight.

She knew that many people were eyeing her family and she was the weakest link; she didn’t want to be a burden so she trained hard enough to beat a couple of people at once.

This was something she worked tirelessly for and was very proud of herself. She may never be able to reach the level of Krystal in this life but she will keep on working hard and improving herself to become a better person and be a good example to others.
