Chapter 12

We woke up early the next day. But to our surprise, unlike yesterday, there are more people today, and I see a woman. This is very weird.

"Have you all finished ?" Vandel asked each one of us for our clothes and told us to be ready to go out. As we only have one bathroom here,we're taking turns and it takes a while.

We are all nodding. Now we have to find Ms. Stone. Even though this town is small, we are not sure where to find Ms. Stone, and we don't know her face, so it is a dilemma.

However, we all gathered together.

"I have a plan." Vandel began. We were paying attention to what it was.

"To make our mission easier, we need to separate in the search. Sandra and Meliora are together, Relm and Copelan are also, Eliora and Elara are together, and I'm alone. Come back here before sunset; we don't know if what happened yesterday will happen again. Is that clear? " He said this in a long explanation.

We all agreed and left the room. As we got in the lobby, we even saw the woman staring at us. We all smiled at her, but she didn't respond. She just looked away. This place was really weird. I shrugged and we just ignored it.

"Make sure to be safe." I said the last thing before Sandra and I left.

"Meliora, where are we now?" Sandra asked softly.

I looked around. Many people are walking today. Some are buying, some are eating, some are laughing happily, but what caught my attention the most was the bright sunlight. What we saw yesterday was that there was no sunlight. This scene doesn't look right. Why do I have this feeling that they don't look real? It is the opposite of what is happening now.

"Sandra, did you notice anything about them?"

Her forehead furrowed and she glanced at the people. "They looked happy; there were many people. That's all Meliora. "

"That's it! This is not what we saw yesterday, Sandra. I insisted.

She seems to be thinking. "You're right. But let's ask."

We went to a flower shop. There is an old woman guarding it while smiling broadly at the people passing by.

"What can I do for you, young lady?" she asked us.

"The flowers you sell are beautiful." Sandra complemented.

The old woman replied with a smile, "I planted them myself. I took good care of them as if they were my children."

She then looked at me. "Would you like some flowers?"

I shook my head. "Nothing, we were going to ask you something." I said softly.

Sandra approached her. "Do you know anyone whose name is Violet Stone?"

"Violet Stone? Oh no! I don't know that name. " She answered.

"Thank you very much," we said, and bid our goodbye. She just smiled at us and waved her hand. We continued to stroll around the area.

Almost everyone we passed and asked didn't know about Violet Stone. They would just shake their heads and say that they are no Violet Stone that live here in Bora.

Sandra and I were tired and sat down at one of the establishments here in Bora. "I'm hungry just for finding Violet, Meliora!" she nags.

"Couldn't Ms. Stone be gone?" she said loudly.

"Don't be loud, maybe someone will hear you!" I whispered to her.

I looked at the people here. You can see their huge smiles, their eyes twinkling as they laugh. They looked bright and fresh, unlike yesterday when this place looked dull and creepy.

We just ordered something to eat. We even asked the owner of this restaurant, but they didn't know anything about Violet Stone. Isn't she really gone?

After eating, we decided to ask again. I looked at the surroundings. There was no trace of Vandel and others. Perhaps they were still looking for, or they had found, that woman.

"Come on, Meliora!" Sandra said, some distance away from me.

I ran towards her.

"Why did you stop?" she asked when I arrived at her side.

"I'm just looking for others." I answered gently.

"Don't worry about them, they are strong," she assured. I just nod at her.

We had been walking around for over an hour, but none of them knew or knew of Violet Stone. I feel that Sandra is about to run out of patience because she is constantly nagging.

Suddenly, a child appeared to us, crying profusely. He was very dirty and his clothes were torn.

"What happened to you?" I worriedly asked.

"H-help me!" he said, crying.

"Why, what happened?" Sandra asked softly.

"They took them, my sister."

My forehead furrowed. "Who is your sister? Who are they? "

He shook his head violently. "I don't know them,"

Sandra looked at me and I knew what she was going to do. I nod at her in return. We need to help this child.

"Where were they taken? Take us there. " I ordered it to him.

He didn't seem to know what I said. "What?" He asked in an innocent way.

"I mean, take us to your sisters or whoever took her." I said.

"A-alright, follow me," he said softly as he started to walk.

Sandra and I just followed him.

The boy kept looking at us. I smiled at him. "Don't worry, we will help you."

"Thank you very much." He vigorously said.

While walking, I kept looking around. We were far away from people. There are only old houses here; others are dilapidated. There is no sign of anyone living there and it is very quiet; only the sound of our shoes can be heard.

In the distance, we saw a forest.

"What the heck?! Forest again?! Boy, is this the right road we're taking?" Sandra suddenly asked.

"Ah, yes, I saw them here," he innocently replied.

"Meliora, it's getting dark soon." Sandra said while looking up.

"We need to be in a hurry." I answered her.

"Are we still far?" I asked.

"They are inside the forest," he answered, as he pointed to the forest in front of us.

" Are you sure?" Sandra asked.

"Yes," he replied.

The boy entered first while we were behind. I kept avoiding the leaves that strangled my face and mouth. The taste is bad!

My mouth fell when I witnessed what was inside the forest. It was a large cabin, not just one but five. They were arranged roundly while there was a huge bonfire in the center.

The boy ran there and Sandra shouted at him, but he didn't hear anything and just ran inside. We could do nothing but follow him.

Upon entering, I could not believe what we witnessed. The boy we were supposed to help was smiling at us. On its side is a man who I think is about our age. He smiled broadly at us.

"Kid, why are you there?! Get out of there! " Sandra still managed to shout that, even though she was confused. But the boy didn't seem to hear anything; he was still smiling at us.

"Good job, Pablo! Go inside, your sister called you." The man said and surpassed a laugh in her mind. The kid who followed him nodded his head and left without even looking at us.

"Well, the news is true, a new face has landed here!" he said loudly while looking at us seriously.

"And beautiful ones. It would be a shame if you died here. Both of you can be my slaves," he added while he looked at us from head to toe.

"Ows?" Really? It's exciting! " Sandra remarked wryly.

"Help us! Help! "

"Is there anyone there?"

"Help!"

Sandra and I suddenly became alert to what we had heard. Shit!

"What did you do to them?" I shouted loudly.

He laughed loudly. "Taking power?" he said uncertainly.

"Don't worry, you won't be like them as long as you're mine!" There are many ways to say it.

" I hate what you say!"

"Like ew!" Sandra reacted.

His nose almost blew up and he looked at us sharply. Why? Did the girl reject him just now? I hissed.

"No one rejects me?!" He said with a glare.

"Oh, I pity you!" Sandra answered.

I laughed. She even made him more angry.

"Why are you laughing?" he shouted.

"Why? I'm happy. " I said with raised eyebrows.

"Are you really making me angry? Chain!" he said loudly as a force suddenly surrounded us. When I looked at it, there were handcuffs made of pure metal on our hands and feet. It has a force that resulted us to knelt down to look at him.

He laughed like a fool. "Are you surprised? Don't cry, okay?" he said and continued to laugh.

I looked at it reluctantly. While Sandra was kneeling in front, as if she was interested in what she was seeing. I silently laughed.

"Oh? Why are you so quiet? Where's the arrogant one?!" he said with those desireful eyes.

I shrugged my shoulders. He looked at me glaringly and said, "Lock them up!" he shouted.

Then, all of a sudden, five men came out of one of the cabins. W-wait? They were the guys from the forest, with a woman with them.

I looked at Sandra. I know she knows it too. They dragged us into the third cabin, which was in the middle of everything.

"My skin, you moron!" she said loudly while being pulled by two men.

"Meliora, you know I can destroy it!" she told me emphatically while looking at those chains.

"No! Let's talk later! ", was my only answer.

They locked us up with others. When I looked at them one by one, they were all girls. But what caught my attention was the woman sitting on the side. You can see no trace of dread and fear in her. She was wearing a white dress while her violet hair was falling freely.

Violet hair? Miss Violet?!
