Chapter 6

I woke up because of Avalie's scream.

I quickly got up and almost tripped down the stairs because of nervousness, wondering if something had happened to her.

When I looked at her I sighed. She was almost restlessly running around the table while carrying a uniform. Yes, a freakin' uniform.

When she spotted me, she instantly approached without hesitation. "Meliora, I was about to wake you up!" she screamed loudly.

I cover my ears. "Because of the volume of your voice! Who wouldn't wake up? "

She just pouted. "This is because of this! Meliora, did you see this?" she said as she held out the uniform. I just nodded.

"What color?" she shouted again.

"Just straight to the point, Avalie? What is this? Question and Answer segment?Then the question is, What color?!

 

"Chill," she said and scratched her back. "Anyway, you're transferring to the Elite Class!" she said screaming. She jumped up and down as if she was the one who was going to move. She was even more excited than I was.


"Are you sure, Ava?" I asked softly.I just got to Higher Class and then instantly transferred to Elite Class. What would other students say?


"Yes, because it's like this. I woke up early because I was supposed to cook, and then there was a knock on the door. I opened it, but I didn't know who it was from. He said that the headmistress told him that you were transferring to Elite today, and then he also told me you must go to the headmistress after you get dressed. I should have told you earlier but I was stunned at the door,"she told me.

 

In the back of my mind, I thought she had passed out. That's how much she loves being in the Elite. I laughed.

"Are you okay with this, Ava?" I asked.

She laughed. "Yes, I am more than okay, Meliora. I can now see them upclose, I can now go to their dorms, I am happy, Meliora."

I raised one of my eyebrows. " Did you just use me?"

She showed me a peace sign. "That's how it is!" she laughed. I just laughed at her response.

 

"Get dressed; Meliora, the Headmistress, is waiting for you." she added.

I just laughed while shaking my head. In the end, I chose to follow her. I do my usual routine and wear the uniform.

It is a black pleated skirt which is above the knee, white long sleeves, a black coat, black high socks, and a pair of shoes. Even the size was just right for me. I looked at my reflection in the mirror. I pouted at what I saw. I looked so pale with this color.

When I stood up to leave, something suddenly fell out of my uniform pocket. I picked it up, which made me gasp. It was a pin, a gold one to be exact, with ELITE words on it.

Everything just sinks in with me now. I am now part of the Elite. so close to her. I chose to leave the room, as I looked around the corner of this dorm. I sighed. I will surely miss this room.

When I arrived downstairs, Avalie was not here anymore. Maybe she was first in their class. I will surely miss her noise and grumbling.

 

While walking on the way to the Headmistress, I couldn't help but be nervous. It's not that I am afraid of her, but she was still a headmistress at this academy.

When I reached her door, I knocked three times. "Come in!" she said.

I opened the door, revealing how spacious it is. The room has a large table in the middle, a sofa on each side of it, and a large frame of a headmistress's face. The room color is a combination of purple and black.

"Your office is so beautiful." I complimented before I sat on the sofa.

"Thank you and good morning to you, Meliora." she said, smiling.

Mr. and Mrs. Smith told me what happened to their classes. You know what I mean. "Right?" she said. I just nodded.

"To make it clear, you are now part of the elite. With your knowledge, skills, and power that we witnessed, indeed you can protect our princess. Am I right Meliora? " She added

I faced her with a smile plastered on my face and said, "Yes headmistress, I will surely protect our princess."

She smiled widely in return, "Alright! From now on, you've officially become an Elite. You will live in their dorms together with other members. "

She stood up and took something. "This is your schedule. Basically, you are all the same, and oh! Your clothes and other necessities are already there. " I smiled. Thankfully, they already moved my clothes.

"You can now go to your new dorm," she said, then made a spell. "tashuikavera," a light ball suddenly appears.

"Just follow that ball," she just said.

I smiled at her and said thank you. I bid a goodbye and open the door. The ball instantly appears right in front of my eyes and moves. I closed the door and chose to follow it.

Until now, I was still following this ball! I sigh. I didn't know where the dorm was. I already saw and passed the girls' and boys' dorms. However, I continue walking while facing the road until the ball suddenly stops and disappears.

I looked up and I saw a huge gate. It was black and gold . I press the button on the right side of it.

"Who's there?" The intercom said

"New Elite member." I casually said

Suddenly, the gate opened, revealing how beautiful it was inside. My jaw dropped. It's not a dorm but a freaking mansion?! It has an aisle towards the entrance. It has lots of different flowers. The colour of the mansion is still black and gold. It has a garden on the left side. It literally screams luxury.

I managed to walk towards the entrance while still scanning the whole place. Now I know this is the reason why the students' dream of becoming elite.

I knocked on the door, but no one opened. I knocked again.

"Wait!" someone shouted inside.

Suddenly, the door opens with a scream. I cover my ears before he can destroy my eardrums! I looked at the person and saw that he was a boy, a boy who will undoubtedly win the hearts of every girl in this academy.But what caught my attention was that he was wearing a head band. cute!

I smiled. "Hi?" I said while waving my hand.

It suddenly dawned on him. "Who are you? Are you the chef who was sent? " He asked.

I looked at him confused. I was about to say no, when he suddenly pulled me towards the kitchen.

"No, it is not---" he cut me off.

"Please make it delicious!" he said.

"I'm not," he cut me again.

"Our leader was so mad yesterday night." I was just playing and I didn't notice that I stepped on his favorite earphones," he said.

He's talkative.

"That is why I came up with a brilliant idea!" he said, pointing at me. I'll just remain silent.

"I'm going to take a bath and cook dinner for six people, okay? I'll go first. I'll come back later. The others are still sleeping, so I just waited for you. " He continued.

He's more talkative than Avalie. She's like a female version of Avalie. Don't they know they have a new member? Perhaps I didn't have any other choice, so I just decided to cook.

Since it was almost lunch time and I knew they hadn't eaten yet, I cooked a lot. It's a good thing the ingredients here are complete. I didn't waste time and started to cook. It is my first time cooking for a large number of people, and surprisingly, it is for the elite.

 

After I'd done cooking, I felt that the table was so empty. I prepared the table also. I saw table napkins and other stuff, so I prepared it for the table as well as plates , spoons, forks and such. Now I'm really exhausted.

When I finished everything, they also came down. They were literally talking while going downstairs, so I knew someone was coming. I was just casually standing on the side of the table.

When they saw me, they seemed confused. I just smiled. When their eyes turn to the food, it glistens with happiness. The man who opened the door earlier came to me. I just called him "Fluff" because of his cheeks.

"You are awesome! How did you make all of these?" He asked

"Oh Thankyou..." when another girl suddenly interrupted me.

"Certainty she cooked Relm. Use your brain please!" she said, then rolled her eyes. I silently laughed. I was about to say that, actually.

 

"How did you find a cook early in the morning, Relm?" another girl asked.

 

"I'm so genius, Elara. Good job Relm!" he said to himself.

When a blonde girl suddenly spoke. "What's your name, Miss?" she spoke softly.

The P-Princess

I looked at her. "I am Meliora." I said it with respect. I even bowed my head.

 

I just kept my smiling face.

When the other guy suddenly spoke, "You looked familiar," he said. Relm is cute while he's handsome.

All of them have their own unique features, and they know it. They are aware that they have the ability to turn heads, attract attention, and play with others.With their looks and charisma, they can make you feel melted even if you are in the middle of the snow.

"I am also a student here." I said.

"W-Wait? Why are you wearing an Elite uniform? " The gray-haired girl said.

Did they notice it now?
