Chapter 29

"Are you Celes?" Sandra asked her politely.

Her brow furrowed."I am. Why? "

"We're from Tamora. Headmistress Selena sent us here. " Vandel answered her.

Her eyes widen. "T-tamora? Selena?" she stammered. She looked outside before us. "Let's go inside," she added.

She opened the door wide. We immediately followed her inside. Unlike the outside, the inside is very clean. Lots of things and lots of books.

"Sit down," she ordered and pointed to the couch in the middle. We quietly followed it and sat down. She took a chair and placed it in front of us. She sat here and looked at us kindly.

"Why does Selena need me?" she asked while her forehead furrowed.

"She needs the book," the Princess said directly.

She frowned. "What book are you talking about?"

"The sacred book." Copelan answered her.

I saw his mouth open. "Sorry, but I don't have it now."

"What? Why? Where is it now? " I immediately asked.

"Last month, a group of young people barged me here. Did you see what happened outside? They said they needed that book. They almost rummaged through everything, but they didn't succeed. But they said they'd burn everything here if I don't give it, so I'll give it to them.I have no choice but to give it. " She said, her hands still shaking as she spoke.

"Where are the young people you are talking about?" Vandel asked her.

"They're wearing Salla Academy uniforms. Finding the book might have been their mission, "she answered. She begged us with her eyes. "You need to find the book. That book is so important. It's just sad because I didn't have the strength to fight for it then, "she said sadly.

"Thank you very much, Miss Celes." Sandra said softly to her.

"We're leaving."Copelan said, and we bid our farewell.

She nodded at us and smiled. "Be careful," she said last.

We immediately went out.

"What's the plan?" asked Relm. We are now standing in the middle of raging mages.

"Let's go to my house. Let's talk there. " I said softly to them.

"Woah! Do you have a house here in Meliora? " Sandra exclaimed. She quickly clung to me, excited.

"Probably Sandra! She used to live here. Duh! " Relm answered her with a roll of the eyes. I mentally laughed, because that's what Sandra always did to him.

We went along with the walking mages. No one noticed us or even asked. Perhaps they may be used to new faces coming here.

After a couple of minutes, we spotted the houses. As before, the road is still clean while on each side there is a house standing. Almost all the houses here are the same in design, size, and color, but of course there are also houses that are different.

"Come in." I said to them when I got home. My house was simple, mostly black and white in color, but it was big, fully furnished, and complete in furniture.

"Woah! Your house is beautiful, Meliora. " Relm shouted as he looked around.

"Feel free to sit down first. I'll just get something to drink. "

They immediately sat down, while Sandra followed me. Fortunately, there was something to drink and eat nearby.

"Why do you have stock here, Meliora?" Sandra asked. She took a jug and placed it on the table.

"I have a care-taker that why also it's also clean." I gently answered her. She just nodded her head.

I took mango juice and mixed it well with water. Sandra took a glass and carried it to the living room, and I followed. We immediately put it on the middle table and sat down on the empty seat.

"What's the plan?" Copelan asked.

"We can't take that book easily." Elara stated.

They quietly took something to drink.

"I have a plan."

"What is it, Meliora?" Sandra asked me.

"Celis said the book is at Salla Academy. They don't let you in unless you're a student, so..."

"So we will enter there as students." Vandel continued with what I had to say.

He looked at all of us. "We need to get there as a new student. We will go there tomorrow, "he added.

I looked outside. It was getting dark, and it was very cold.

I stand. "I'm just going to cook dinner. If you want to rest, there are two rooms upstairs. The boys on the left side and the girls on the right side. " I said to them.

I went to the kitchen and chose to cook, and no one followed me. I only get meat and vegetables. I cooked it quickly after that. I called them, and one by one, they came down and sat down.

We ate in silence.

"Is it really this quiet at night?" Elara asked.

"Why?" I asked.

"It was too quiet. No noise at all, not even animal noises," she answered.

"Yes, By night, noisy is forbidden, and we are also not allowed to go out. " Vandel answered her.

"Why?" the Princess asked.

"It's been like that ever since." I answered them.

"Except for the Academy. They are free to make noise and walk at night. That's what I know. " I added.

"Are there dorms there too?" Relm asked.

"Yes, But it's not like Tamora, we choose where to stay and we have to pay for it. "

"If that's so, we have to share the same room. We just pick the largest dorm," the Princess suggested.

Others agreed. I haven't even entered Salla yet. I only hear that information from people talking about it.

"Let's take our rest." I said to them after we ate. We chose to go up to the room. We tidy ourselves up and lay down on the bed. Since we traveled for several hours earlier, they immediately fell asleep.

I closed my eyes too.

"Here we go!" Relm shouted when he got down the stairs. He was fixing his hair and sitting next to me.

"There are no girls there." I lied.

"Meliora, you're my one and only baby!" She said and clung to me. So gay!

We turned around when Vandel suddenly coughed. He looked at Relm so hard that he swallowed hard.

"Their uniforms are beautiful." Sandra exclaimed. She slowly went down the stairs while waving her hand.

I got up early to buy uniforms for us to wear. For girls, a purple skirt, a white long sleeve, a purple coat, and a black necktie. For boys, black pants, long sleeves, a purple coat, and a black necktie.

"Meliora, let's live here!" She said this while standing next to me.

"Still, Tamora is better." Relm answered her. Sandra just rolled her eyes and didn't answer.

"Don't ever mention that we are from Tamora. Is that clear? " I told them. It's good to be careful.

Later, the Princess and Elara also came down. They just sit quietly. Finally, Copelan came down and just looked at us.

"We will not say that we are from Tamora, we are from Salla, and we just decided to enroll today." I told them.

They nodded, so we started walking out.

"Is there a carriage here?" they asked in unison.

"Yes, someone will pass by here. Let's wait here. " I answered them.

In the distance, we saw a carriage approaching. They immediately got ready, and it voluntarily stopped in front of us. Fortunately, there was no one inside, so we all fit in.

"What kind of school is Salla?" Relm suddenly asked us They all looked at me, waiting for an answer.

I sigh. "I don't know. I haven't been in there yet. " I answered them.

They then looked at Vandel.

"Seconded." That is his only answer. He just looked outside and ignored Sandra's complaints.

The sky has cleared. The climate is still cold, but I think they are used to it. The huge trees that seem to give color to Salla are already visible. The households are on the left, while the Academy is on the right. The center is on the south, and the crops that support the people here are on the north.

Suddenly, the carriage stopped, meaning we were in the aisle going to the Academy. I immediately paid the coach and he left immediately.

"We have to walk it in." I said to them. In the distance, there was a large purple gate. It's open freely but you don't see any students coming out. The view of the big academy was visible inside.

We immediately walked down the road.

When we were in front of the academy, we saw various students who were sitting as if they were waiting for someone. When they saw us, they immediately stood up and others ran towards us.

We immediately prepared in case they attacked us, but the opposite happened.

"We will do it. What is it?" said a petite woman.

"No, we are stronger! We can make it. " A man said.

Our foreheads immediately wrinkled because of what happened. What to do? What are they fighting for?

When they looked at our clothes, they sighed heavily. One by one, they returned to their seats and sat down.

"They're also students!" exclaimed the girl before returning to her group.

What exactly are they saying? We chose to enter. I looked around the room. The Academy is big, but still, Tamora is bigger.

"Who are you?" A man suddenly appeared in the hallway. Just by his stance, we know he's arrogant. All of us girls gathered in the middle, with Vandel on our side.

Because of what the man said, the other students stood up. There is a trace of surprise on their faces, not like before.

"We are here to study." I answer to them.

He chuckled. "This is no place for the weak here."

What the? Sandra was about to fight him when Elara stopped her.

I smirked at him. "Really? Why are you here? "

He glared at me. I felt that he was very irritated. He was about to speak when a woman suddenly came. I saw her look at him and turn her gaze to us.

"Follow me." She said coldly.
