Chapter 33

Victoria from Alpha and Beverly from Stars. It is a girl versus girl. Interesting.

I looked at the Alpha chair. They were just staring at the stage and seemed to have no idea what was going to happen. I didn't look at the group of stars because I didn't want to look back.

After they arrived on stage, they immediately used their magic. Victoria threw a water ball towards Beverly, but Beverly countered it with a stone wall.

A water mage and a stone mage.

I glance at them. Elara adjusted her seat, probably because water is her magic and it's the same as Victoria's, and the others just focused on the center.

The two immediately became serious; they just stood in the middle and felt each other. When Beverly suddenly attacked her and rained a lot of stones, Victoria just avoided it, and Beverly took a chance to get close to her.

Beverly attacks Victoria in front after she avoids the last stone thrown at her.Victoria was surprised when she was punched in the face.She flew away and slowly stood up.

"I think her knuckles are made of stone. Look!" Sandra suddenly said to us

We followed what she said, and our mouths dropped. Her knuckles look like stones. It turned gray while the rest of his hand was still the same color.

"That hurts!" Relm said with a frown.

I immediately looked at Victoria. Her nose was bleeding, but she was smiling.

My forehead was wrinkled.

She used her magic to clean the blood. The water gradually spread on her face. Now there was no trace of blood on her face.

She locked her gaze on Beverly, raised her hand, and closed her eyes.We adjusted our seats when it started to shake weakly. Suddenly, there was water coming out of the ground. It grew into a large wave all of a sudden.It almost reached the roof of the stadium, and it was approaching Beverly. Beverly panicked. She ran as fast as she could, but she still caught up.

The audience looked amazed because of what Victoria did. The wave she made was just between Beverly and her, and it didn't even reach us or the other participants who were on the side.

Beverly uses her magic to swim above, but because she is a stone mage, she only sinks below. When Victoria saw that she was about to lose her breath, suddenly the wave disappeared. Beverly was panting profusely.She tried to catch her breath while her clothes were wet.

That made Victoria win. The bell rang, signaling the end of the ten minutes.

The audience immediately cheered. They chant Alpha's name so hard. while Victoria looked at them happily.

"We are the best! We will win!" Victoria said proudly.

She returned to her seat with a grin while Beverly walked back panting.

So here we have the Alpha.Their magic is almost the same as ours, yet we don't see and know what others can do. So they weren't even worried about what was happening because they knew they would win over everyone here.

Hmm. Interesting.

The announcer immediately went on stage while the woman carrying the ball followed. The announcer immediately put his hands inside, pulled one out, and suddenly smiled.

When he said Elites, the audience suddenly fell silent, but later the inside of the stadium was filled with laughter.

Sandra kept rolling her eyes, while the others were silent.

"versus Clover," he finished the announcement, and got off the stage.

A woman from Clover rose to her feet.Suddenly, the big screen lit up and the letters of their names were formed.

Copelan from the Elites, May from the Clover, and Copelan from the Clover

I glance at the girl; she's got the looks: long hair, and skinny. She was the girl who raised an eyebrow at me because I was looking at their group.

"I don't like her." Elara suddenly commented.

"Why?" the Princess asked her softly. Her forehead was furrowed as she looked at Elara, who was just looking straight ahead.

"Look!"

When we looked at it, I was shocked. She stretched her arms lazily and yawned. What the?!

"I will give her hell," Vandel said irritably.

The audience became noisy and shouted the name May. She motioned to the audience with her hand.

"Duh! She's not pretty! " Sandra mumbled to herself.

I just looked in front waiting to see what May's power was. She looked at Copelan with a smirk before she made a whirlwind made of sand.

Sandra laughed out loud at what she had witnessed. She was even holding her stomach because of so much joy.

"What happened to you?" Relm asked her.

She looked at us while wiping the tears from her eyes caused by laughter."Air vs. Sand, who do you think will win?" she explained.

She chuckled before she faced the front. That's why there was no trace of fear on Copelan's face. He was listlessly looking at the sand that was going to attack him. The whirlwind of sand suddenly surrounded Copelan; he was inside of it, so we couldn't see what happened to him. We almost squinted because of the sand escaping and coming towards us, while May laughed out loud at what she saw. As well as The audience immediately cheered at what they saw. Copelan was inside the sand that May created.

Suddenly, the group sitting in the fourth seat looked at us. Because we were behind them, it was easy for them to talk to us. The girl with short hair looked at us worriedly.

"Why?" I asked her.

"Aren't you worried about your friend?"

My forehead furrowed at what she said.

Copelan is still inside the whirlpool made of sand. When she saw that I didn't understand what she said, he sighed loudly.

"May's magic is the one that we are afraid of. Her sand can burn flesh and skin. "

"Don't worry, girl, we're not the mages you think we are."Sandra suddenly aswered her.

I just smiled at her. "Thank you." I sincerely replied.

She smiled and nodded. She looked forward to it eventually.

"What is Copelan waiting for? He's enjoying the spotlight? " Sandra raised her eyebrows.

When I looked at the time, the ten minutes were about to end while Copelan was still inside.

"No rush." Vandel only said

May was about to leave the stage when the sand she made suddenly grew stronger. It became more than twice the size compared to what she was doing and gradually came closer to her. Copelan came out of the sand she made and stood right in the middle.

Her eyes widened because of what she had witnessed.

"Y-you! W-who a-re.. you? " She stuttered.

Copelan had no burn marks and was just standing in the middle. While the accumulated sand that May made gradually spread over her. She started screaming because of the pain. When I looked at her arm and other parts of her body, they started to smoke and suddenly turned black.

They were moved by what they saw. Instead of this happening to Copelan, it is the opposite of what she desired.

The woman who talked to us earlier looked back at us. She couldn't believe what happened.

"We told you!" Sandra's only answer was to her.

The bell rang, signaling the end of the ten minutes. May was immediately taken and placed on a bed and taken away. Then, Copelan walked back to his seat and sat down. The audience was silent as the announcer announced that we were the winners.

The Clover groups became furious. They looked at us intently.

"We got our second win," Vandel said to us.

"Let's continue this!"
