Chapter 17

"Welcome to the land of Namorn."

We slowly walked in. The two guards smiled broadly and greeted us. I really love their smiles.

All of us were open-mouthed except for Vandel, the Princess, who was just looking ahead, Miss Violet, who was walking, and Copelan, who was also silent.

While Sandra and Relm foolishly handle everything we pass.I mentally laughed.

"Welcome, your highness!" The Queen immediately greeted the Princess. She immediately hugged her and held her hands.

I looked at the Princess and the Queen. She was chatting happily with the Princess; she didn't even look at us. I scoffed. It looks like the Queen never saw us. She didn't greet us nor acknowledge our presence.

I just shrugged.

The King and Miss Violet talk about our stay. We remained silent.

The previously boisterous Relm and Sandra are now like newborn ducklings. I mentally laughed. Elara, on the other hand, was busy looking around the entire palace while Copelan sat quietly next to her. As for Vandel on my side, he just sits and listens quietly.

I thought they had a son and a daughter. Where are they?

"Oh! I'm sorry," the Queen said suddenly.

I silently scoffed.

"Sorry, I didn't notice the others earlier," she added.

I heard Vandel squirm on the side. I silently laughed.

"It's okay!" Sandra answered immediately with respect.

Suddenly, the King looked at us. "Have all of you eaten?"

"Not yet, dear king! We have been traveling for a while! We are hungry! Do you have any food--"

Relm couldn't finish what he was saying when Sandra suddenly hit him.

"Shut up! You're such a shame, you duck! "

He pouted. "It hurts Sandra!"

"I don't really enjoy duck!"Sandra murmured.

Suddenly, the King laughed, and that made everyone look at him. He almost made himself cry with laughter. The Queen's eyebrows rose. She looked confused.

"I'm sorry, I just find it entertaining!" He chuckled.

Let's go to the dining room. We prepared food! "he added happily, causing Relm and Sandra to jump. They are still jumping into their place.

I thought Sandra was shy?! She just didn't want to drag Relm to the kitchen!

We immediately stood up and followed the king to the kitchen. The Queen on the other side held Eliora's hands towards the dining room. Her smile reached his gums as she faced the princess.

"Find your place," said the King immediately.

"Sit by my side," said the Queen to the Princess.

We immediately find ourselves a seat. The King sat at the center, while the Queen sat on his left side, followed by the Princess, Elara, and Copelan. While on the right side of the King, 'Miss Violet sat, followed by Vandel, myself, Sandra, and Relm.

After we sat down, the maids also came out. One by one, they served the food that made Relm happy. I mentally laughed. Is he that hungry?

I was about to answer when Vandel interrupted.

"Oh God! Really? Sorry Meliora! " Sandra instantly replied.

I just smiled at her.

"How did you know the leader?" Relm asked teasingly.

"Yes, how? OMG! " Sandra seconded.

I just laughed.

The King cleared his throat. "What are your names?" Just call me Uncle Hades." He introduced himself.

Relm swallowed all his food and spoke. " Relm at your service, Earth mage."

"Copelan, Air Mage."

"Sandra, air also."

"Elara, dear king, water mage."

"You don't need to address me like that. Just call me Uncle Hades," he immediately said to Elara.

"Vandel, fire." he shortly said.

"Meliora, ice." I said, smiling.

The queen frowned. "Are you new? I've seen them before, but you, just now? "

I looked at her. "Yes, dear queen."

She just raised her eyebrows and didn't reply.

"I am Kara, light mage." The princess suddenly introduced herself.

The Queen reacted immediately. "Oh dear, you don't need to say that! We already know you. "

I scoffed in my head.

She looked at all of us. "Just call me Aunt Nea." She introduced herself and, once again, took care to the princess.

"Violet Stone, sorcerer." Miss Violet introduced herself.

After that, we continued to eat. The King kept asking questions about our mission, and others gladly answered them. Sandra also told the story of what happened in Bora, which surprised him a lot. They said they did not know that something bad was happening in Bora. While Copelan and Vandel were eating quietly. Fortunately, there are no questions about me. Psh!

Suddenly, two people entered. A woman and a man.

The girl looks like a superstar in a movie. She has shoulder-length hair, which was colored pink, a nice body, and a gorgeous face.

"Pretty!" Sandra commented while looking at the woman.

She looked at her and smiled.

I glanced at the man. I can say he has an overflowing appeal and charisma that can make girls drowl into him...

But Vandel looks great on him.

While Elara and Sandra continued to stare at the man, I returned my attention to what I was eating.Don't tell me they like him?

When I looked at the man, he was also looking at me. My forehead furrowed. I heard Vandel squirm on the side.

I ignored his stares and looked at the others. Psh!

"My beautiful daughter and handsome son!" the queen greeted them.

Our eyes widened. They are the prince and princess of this land?!

"Come in! Sit down and introduce yourself to the guest." The King ordered them.

They sat in the empty seats. The princess sat on the left side, while the prince on the right. I looked at him confused. He's still looking at me until now, and I know that everyone has seen it.

Sandra elbowed me, but I didn't look at her. I know she just wanted to point something out.

I silently scoffed. His stares creep me out!

Suddenly, the queen coughed. "Introduce yourselves."

The princess stood up first. "I am Pinky, Earth Mage." She said it gracefully and even glanced at Vandel.

After her introduction, the prince instantly stood. "Pleasure to meet you all. I am Ethan, Earth."

He introduced himself, still fixing his gaze on me. I silently rolled my eyes. I'm kind of annoyed.

"They are my son and daughter." Then the queen introduced them once again. She looked at the two. "They are from the land of Tamora, Princess Kara's acquaintances and friends." The Queen introduced us.

"Kara? Is that you? " Pinky suddenly asked as she looked at the Princess.

Why? Did they just meet?

"Yes," It's been a long time, Pinky," the princess replied softly.

She immediately stood up and headed towards the princess's seat. She immediately hugged her from behind.

Oh?Are they close?

"Son, the Princess is here! Say hi!" The queen strongly ordered her son. He just sat there and didn't even pay attention to the Princess.

I heard his disapproval noise, but he still stood. "Hi, Kara!" he said, smiling, and immediately sat down.

Okay. I just shrugged. Perhaps they are not that close. 

We have finished eating. Pinky and the Princess chat happily next to the Queen. Yes, she were next to the Princess, because she begged Elara to change seats. Of course Elara agreed. 

I sighed. I want to rest. When will they end?
