Next Morning
Cold Moon Pack House
It was barely 5am at dawn when Alexia woke up. It's hard getting any sleep since what took place last night. The fact that she had to wake with a heavy migraine isn't also helping the matter.
The first thing she did was soaking herself in the bathtub which eased things and her head got better, with less headache pound. She tried getting back bed but kept rolling here and there, and at a point, almost fell off what happened to be a Queen sized bed.
Done with the sleep that refused to come, she went to her desk, and that was when it clicked this was a chance for her to go through her letters folder.
What a child she is. She hasn't heard anything from her parents for many weeks and she isn't even bothered nor did she prompt herself to write a letter home to them even if she can't visit as of now.
She turned on the bed lamp and slowly opened the bunch of piled up letters. She's not so sure the letter delivery man delivered anything recently but still, she has to check. If nothing, then she has to write something home immediately.
She went through the piles and only one of the letter was yet to be opened. Quickly she dropped all others and snapped the letter open, discarding its wrap to wherever she didn't care to look.
She smiled and leaned against her seat, prepared, as she began to read.
That smile became frozen halfway through the reading, she didn't know when she got up on her feet and began to cuss at herself for the silly mistake.
The letter happened to have been delivered for a week now but she's too deep in her head to even bother to check. Totally unbelievable she spent most of her nights whining about the Alpha to care.
She checked the time and it's still one hour until 7am in the morning. Enough time to dress up and if by then it still ain't time, she will have no choice than to go and wake one of the drivers from their sleep.
One thing she won't do though, is wake up the Alpha. He might want to come with her or worse force her to wait until full morning.
"Now?" One of the driver met in their room first asked, looking back at the rest that were still deep in their sleep snoring.
"Yes, now. And no, we are not informing the Alpha." Before the man could turn around for the hallway leading to Alpha Steele's chamber, he grabbed him back.
No.

The ride to her parents' pack was still as far as it's always been. That was where sleep began to taunt her but she resisted, barely waiting till the car stopped before jumping out of the car.
"Where are my parents?" Her tone was harsh as she spoke to the maids walking about the surrounding.
"Inside, ma'am."
She didn't wait for them to lead her in. It's still her home. She hurried inside and didn't need to go far before sighting her parents at the dinning table, eating their breakfast.
It was then she looked at the clock and saw it's only 9am. She sighed, she must have made the driver run that much.
"Mother, father," she approached them, hands at the hem of her dress as she joined them at the table. "Good morning."
"Alexia," The Lycan king was the most surprised, almost startled when he heard the chair scraping against the flooring, and a presence joining them. "You… you are just coming?"
Her mother didn't look at her, and just continued with her meal.
"I'm sorry, father. It's so foolish of me but I just got to read your sent message." She apologized, fingers clamped together at her laps.
Her father nodded, causing her to look over at her mother who didn't budge. "Mom, are you hearing me?"
The Lycan queen muttered no single world. She looked so interested in the meal than ever, as she turned a blind eye to her beloved daughter.
"She won't speak to me." Alexia sighed yet again, looking for help from her father. "Does she know how fast I hurried here even though it was risky? No, she doesn't."
She shook her head and even winched, face wrinkled with hurt as she bent her head to look at her feet underneath the table. "She doesn't know I hurt myself in the process. No, she rather won't speak with me…"
Before she could finish, her feet was caught from under the table and before she could look down at the person, she can feel the blowing of wind on her feet, and some hand parade. "Oh, goodness. Alexia…. Where is the wound?"
"There's no wound." Alexia laughed and kicked her feet back under the table.
"Don't play such joke on me again." Her mother rose back up her feet from where she's bent, and frowned hard.
"Have heard you mother." She winked at her and laughed when her mother scoffed and turned away from her. "Let's eat, shall we? I'm hungry. Serve me, please, mom."
Although the Lycan queen tried so hard, she laughed at the same time with her husband and daughter.
After the breakfast, Alexia sent the maid to give Alpha Steele's driver a big portion of meal, remembering she brought him over so early. Then she strolled the pack for about thirty minutes before returning home.
It's time to hear why her parents requested to see her. She has to return to Alpha Steele before evening rolls over.
"Why are you in such a hurry though?" The Lycan queen grunted at being pulled out of the kitchen where she's trying out some new baking method.
"I want to know the reason I am here, of course. Where is Dad?" She sat her mother down, and looked around. She was headed to fetch her father also when she heard her mother's voice speak from behind.
"He's asleep. You're not to wake him up." Her tone is stern.
Alexia groaned, reluctantly seating beside her mother.
"I know this is just your way of wasting my time. I need to return and you know that." Her groan got louder, face frowned.
"Ruin your beauty all you want with that frown." Her mother made to stand up but was held down. "Really? Do you mean that I'm beautiful?" Alexia feigned ignorance.
"No, you're not. That was a slip of tongue which I regret now."
Alexia laughed, "I know you meant it. No surprise you're that stunned when you look at my face."
And that was it, how her mother spoke no word as the hours passed. Definitely a way to make her stay back but no, she's leaving. Only that her father still hasn't woke up.
"Have your mate been treating you well? There are a lot of suitors coming over recently to ask for a chance to occupy your heart." At the time she least expected, her mother shifted closer to her and offered her some baked cake as she began.
"What suitors? I seek none." Alexia moaned as she munched on a bite from the cake.
"Then how have you been there? Other than when we went for an event at the pack house, we've never seen your mate. He doesn't find it necessary to pay us a visit too?"
"He's been busy. I will let him know you seek to see him."
"And the question you've been avoiding?" Her mother's expression turned serious in a matter of time.
Alexia's fingers shook against the cake in her hand. Her full mouth the only excuse she has to think of a lie within that period.
"Things are good. I assure you." She finally spoke.
"I hope when I come over to see things for myself, I won't meet otherwise." Her mother didn't look assured. Alexia nodded to ease things.

When Alpha Steele woke up and was prepared for the day, time for breakfast came and he was disappointed when the maid went to call Alexia for breakfast but didn't find her in her room and when things were investigated, one of his own guards had driven her to where only they knew.
Beta Kade stayed as far as possible away from the Alpha, knowing his mood is ruined for the day.
"Why won't you touch your food?" Luna Celeste passed a dubious look toward her soon, and his full untouchable plate.
"You said you won't eat with Ava at the table and now that I sent her off to her room, you still won't touch anything from the table."
"I lost my appetite." He dragged his eyes away from the entrance and stood up, and left the dinning room.
Kade followed the Alpha outside but walked at a close pace behind meanwhile on some other days, he ought to be by his side.
He's aware of what had caused havoc in the house and that's all because of princess Alexia who had gone somewhere without informing the Alpha beforehand.
Kade didn't think it was a big issue until doom occured. Even the Lady Ava dared not stay the same space as the Alpha. The maids couldn't serve the Alpha his meal by themselves, Kade did.
No one would lie he or she didn't feel the temper radiating from the Alpha even as he hasn't spoken a word about being angry. Even the Luna who had to adhere to the Alpha this time, still, couldn't get him to put some food in his belly.
Once in a blue, that's how scary the Alpha can be. This time, it better not last longer than usual.
