Luna Celeste walked here and there the pack house, constantly looking through the Alpha’s room. The rift is still there and it seems it ain’t ending anytime soon, which is her joy.
“Luna!” She heard Ava call from behind and looked back to see her stop before her and say, “I need to speak with you.”
They withdrew to her room. “I went like you asked but got nothing out of her, she didn’t even speak and I think it’s true her travel was what caused the fight between her and the Alpha.” Ava told with a big smile on her face.
"And tell me, shouldn't this be your big chance?" The Luna asked in return.
In deep thought, Ava nodded. "That was what I thought too when I went to the Alpha's chamber just now. I was surprised he lets me in when he never wanted to see me before but of course, as expected, he chased me out not long after but I think..." She paused, blushing hard as she watched the Luna adjust on her seat in anticipation.
"...she's starting to let his walk down bit by bit, around me." She finished, sounding proud of herself.
She thought back on her surprise when princess Alexia and walked in on them and left, looking disappointed. That gave Ava so much joy than she can explain, knowing she's starting to have a chance.
That earned her a pat on the back. "Good. However, you shouldn't relax just yet. Keep trying and trying harder and we both will see the result soon."
They had a little more discussion before Ava left for her room and for the first time that month, Luna Celeste slept happily like a baby.

Kade was out of the pack with his mate, when he received an urgent phone call from the princess, in which had him running back to the house.
"Is this how things will continue in here?" Was the first question Kade was greeted by when he went to meet the princess.
Alexia who has her arms over her chest at the Alpha's door looked tired and annoyed to say the least, having Kade to speak with was the only thing calming her down at the moment.
"I don't understand." Kade decided it was best feigning oblivion.
"I was fed up of the silent treatment and decided to attempt to speak to him but here we are. At 5am and he's not in his study room or chamber. Tell me he's not avoiding me and see me prove you wrong."
Kade rubbed at his face, silently sighing. When he didn't speak, she proceeded to call his name. "Kade, are you even listening?"
"Oh yes, I am." He answered finally through choked voice. "He told me nothing too and I think he needs a while to himself."
"I should leave him alone?" It was shocking to hear. Only her knew how much she had restricted touching any of her things to leave for her father's pack for the meantime.
When Kade gave a nod of affirmation, Alexia forced herself to hold back. It was hard getting herself to take her breakfast. More harder watching Ava smile around her as she kept the Luna's company.
Not so long after there was a honk at the gate announcing the Alpha's arrival and before Alexia could even think of stepping aside for his entry, the Luna pushed past her, and hand-in-hand with Ava, they went to welcome Alpha Steele in.
She stood there wishing she could crawl into a hole as they approached, walking the Alpha over. Alexia closed her eyes, forcefully trying not to look the Alpha's way, until she heard what has her ripping her eyes opened.
"Alexia..." Her name was the first thing she heard him utter as he walked past and commanded, "Follow me."
She was stunned and even noticed the shocked look on the Luna's face. Ava who had been stopped midway by the Alpha also stood on the spot she is, confused.
The Alpha's mood couldn't have changed that fast.
Alexia didn't bother knocking as she entered his study room. Rather than looking remorseful, she hunched her shoulders up as she knew what was at hand. She's not about to forgive that easily after all the headaches he'd caused her.
"You can take your seat." He sat and pointed before him.
"Me? No." She refused almost before he can even finish.
The maid who'd been cleaning the study for the day was about to let the window fully open but was waved off by Alpha Steele, and with a deep bow, she exited.
That was when Alpha Steele returned his attention to Alexia and this time, some tiny bit of his emotion were written on his face.
Was she starting to piss him off? With a decision to trend with caution, she sat.
"Now that I'm seated, let's begin." She looked away from him as she grunted lowly.
