"Take. This. Away. From. My. Sight!" After the conversation with the Luna Celeste, Alexia has never been so angry.

She would shout at anyone that tried getting closer to her. She didn't want to see anyone.

Throughout the session with the Luna, she can't mutter a word in respond so as not the sound disrespectful. It pained her to the heart she can do nothing about what's going on.

What's only happened with the Alpha was marking. She didn't think of the closeness that had come as a sacrifice with it. Now he's not wanting to have her out of her sight and had done all they told her yesterday?

He's still angry with her. Ava had came to challenged her. The Luna is grateful. And her? They're all against her now. She just wish she has someone to confide in, in all this.

Luna Celeste soon sat Ava down.

"What just happened is the moon goddess creating a clear path for you. It seems my son isn't home yet but when he arrives, it's up to you to try and get things straight. Get closer to him, and we'll know how much of a chance you will have with him."

Ava took in the Luna's words and when the Alpha arrived, it took a lot of courage to knock on the door. Hearing no reply, she entered and it was as if a cold water was poured on her face, she was frozen halfway through her entry.

His eyes are on her. Dead set on her.

Her hands slipped from the door knob, "I… I made a mistake. I shall take my leave." She bowed, turning her eyes away. She didn't leave like she said, neither did he react.

Remembering the Luna's encouragement, her shoulders hunched up and she courageously walked herself to his desk.

"I came to speak with you." She lets out.

Alpha Steele looked away from her, as he continued attending to the files. To Ava's surprise, he didn't try to chase her way.

"Have you eaten?" She asked, leaning a little on his desk. When he didn't respond, she attempted again. "You look tired. Should I bring you a coffee?"

"Alpha?" She called once more, it looked as though he didn't care whether she wastes her time or not.

She knew him to be ruthless but wasn't told it was up to this. His cruelty battles her a lot but she's not going anywhere.

"When you're done, take your leave."

Alpha Steele leaned back in his chair, his fingers stilling their restless self across the keyboard. His gaze lifted, falling upon Ava, who stood patiently at the edge of his desk, awaiting his response.

"Before that, I want to speak with you, please." Ava pleaded, purring.

"The grace time I had given to is over. You may leave." He made a dismissive gesture with his hand, his eyes already returning to the files spread before him.

Ava hesitated, the question on the tip of her tongue, but she knew better than to question his decision.

She lowered herself into the chair opposite the Alpha, the padding of the seat giving slightly beneath her weight as she sat, smiling.

The Alpha's eyes snapped towards her within seconds, his brow furrowing in irritation in a what-did-you-just-do manner but before he could utter a word of reprimand, she was on her knees, her head bowed.

She thought of every other way she can make him listen to her, no idea came to mind other than this. She's going to sweetly talk to him. After all that's what all the men she's been with before falls for.

"Forgive me, my Alpha," she purred, her voice low and seductive. "No matter what, I just can't leave without asking about your welfare. I'm new here and I know you don't want to see but I just can't resist being in your presence." She purred and not only was her voice sickling low but seductive.

When he didn't speak she counted that as the go ahead and was rambling when the Alpha mind-linked Kade, calling him over to urgently come and throw the lady before him out.

The door opened and he looked up, it wasn't Kade… but Alexia.

He watched as she held his gaze for a moment, her expression mixed with shock as her eyes flickered down at kneeling Ava.

Without a word, she turned on her heel and stormed out, the sound of her footsteps fading as the door clicked shut behind her.

Alpha Steele sat motionless in his chair. Slowly, he turned his gaze back towards the Ava before him.

"Rise," he commanded, and she obeyed, her eyes averted as she stood before him, to her he's about to be given a positive response.

"This cannot happen again," He warned, and her mouth fell agape. "Understood?"

Alexia got to her room and kicked her footwear aside, finally slamming the door behind her like she's been thirsting.

She should have known it wouldn't go well when her instinct was pushing her to go and check on the Alpha once again. So now this is what's going to happen?

He's mad at her and now the Ava he never wanted to see is with him in the same room, on her knees at that.

She ran her fingers in her hair, not bothered about ruffling. Only heaven knows what they've been doing in there.

Her eyes started to sting with tears. She feels so hurt. Now it seems he doesn't want to see her anymore. How can he be that angry?

Her eyes strayed back to her handbag, tempted to pick it up and leave for her parent pack instead of being here, so conflicted.

Beta Kade who had seen the Lycan princess walk angrily out, waited outside of the door, till Ava walked out too. After the mind-link he had with the Alpha, he was about entering when he saw princess Alexia and now Ava?

He didn't need to ask before having an idea of what's going on.

"And where have you been?" He was welcomed in by the Alpha's growl.

"I was outside the door. Actually, princess Alexia looked angry as she walked out of here and the new lady Ava, she looked so happy that I hope it isn't what I am thinking." He explained.

"Ava?"

"Yes, that's her name." Kade confirmed. "What's to be done regarding the princess?"

"Nothing." Alpha Steele was silent before plainly saying.

It was unbelievable for Kade at first. "But she looked angry?" He's confused why the Alpha was still this way, could it be he's still angry?

"And I don't?" His stared daggers at him.

Kade quickly shook his head. "No. I just meant that the way things are going lately isn't fine and perhaps some adjustment…"

"No. You can leave, Kade. Topic over." He curtly cuts in, silencing him.

Kade bowed and walked out, and next, he was knocking at the princess's door. "It's me, Kade."

"Come in." He heard and did.

He found her on her bed, laying on back, arms laid behind her head, meditating.

"I came to speak with you." He lets her know, seeing as she didn't speak. She replied him with a, "Go ahead."

"I hope you know the Alpha is still angry and just a little more patience, I assure you he's going to be back to himself. No one is happy with the day things are going, me especially. I can see you're angry too and I feel things won't get solved this way." Kade can see the anger is no more of one but now the two parties.

None of them are willing to surrender. The Alpha wouldn't budge and his mate who can sort things is now also angry. Things are only going to get destroyed.

"Is that what you came to say?" Her eyes stayed fixated on the ceiling, not losing her count on them.

"Yes. I know you might have been pissed by what lady Ava was doing inside there with him but I must assure you it's nothing. Right now, the Alpha angry and that's what we should confuse on first."

"Sure, Kade. I don't look angry too." Alexia scoffed aloud.

'Wasn't that the same thing the Alpha said?' Kade blinked twice, speechless for a while. "I'm sorry, ma'am. I'm just trying to settle things and…"

"Leave." She ordered not allowing him to finish. With a sigh of defeat, Kade walked out. This can be count as a fight that isn't resolving, or ending any time soon.
