Ava.
She's in a high heel and barely covered dress that couldn't even reach her knee. And to say she slammed the door open and cat-walked over to him, he wondered what had given her the courage.
"What are you doing here?" What were the guards doing that they let her in!
As she reached the Alpha's desk, she paused, her eyes sweeping over the papers and devices that were on its surface and then with a casual flick of her wrist, she dropped her handbag onto the desk.
"My feet, they hurt so much and I just can't walk back to my room."
She sank into a chair, her body collapsing against the plush leather and her legs extending out in front of her, whilst the Alpha looked up from his work and his gaze going straight to Ava's exposed leg.
That alone is enough for him to own the blame, he needs to tighten his security? What's with Ava's free entry always, is she bribing them because he can't seem to understand as it is.
A mind-link at the guards at the doorstep and they are now standing before him.
"An explanation of how she got in. Even if I never told you guys no one should come to interrupt me, do I look free recently?" He said pointedly at Ava, maintaining a calm exterior whereas he wanted to punish these guards, just that time wasn't on his side.
"We are sorry, sir. We thought—"
"I was the one who told them I needed to see you, it's not their fault, I just couldn't walk myself to my room and here is closer." She mumbled, looking up and offering the guards a smile as she butt in one their behalf.
The silence in the room lasted for a minute, more than it should have before he lost it. If only he hasn't been trying to control himself nowadays.
"Next time that happens…" he grounded his teeth, his eyes dead set on them, "I so be so lenient and I mean it."
The guards are already trembling even before he can finish, his warning the most scariest thing ever.
"We are sorry, Alpha." They apologetically chorused and he dismissed them with a wave of hand.
Ava leaned back on the chair, witnessing just how much she's making him go crazy.
Alpha Steele stood and withdraw the pen from the files before him before slamming them closer and pushing his chair back. He rounded the table and was out of his door in no time, leaving Ava to gasp.
"Alph—" she threw her feet out of her heels immediately and ran after him, and when she successfully catched up with him, she panted, "I'm sorry for pissing you off, I just…"
Alpha Steele pulled into an abrupt stop and swirled around slightly, her legs the first place his cold eyes went for. She traced his gaze and then it clicked… she just ratted herself out.
"Oh no," her eyes bobbed, "I, I can explain…"
Without a word offered to her he continued through the hallway, and when he was ascending the stairs, he can still sense her behind him… her last straw.
"Will. You. Fucking. Back. Off." It was so unexpected she almost fell off the stairs with his enraged face turned towards her, his hands stuffed in his pockets in the process.
"I'm sorry." She cooked on her voice, her face going pale instantly as she retreated on her back. He didn't spare her one last glimpse as he continued on his way, Ava off his neck.
This was a mess created by his mother, if not, she wouldn't be daring him and playing silly jokes on him.
Ava on the other hand cussed at herself straight to her room.
It's no use putting Alexia in one place when the Alpha wouldn't even budge, she's doubting she'll ever succeed to make him hers, she's now looking too desperate that she has to better give him some space.
He doesn't even seem to like her.
"What a bad day." She hit her heels on the wall as she stepped into her room, grumpily matching towards her new closet. "isn't this a sign to find somewhere to clear my head? I'm going nuts."
She changed into a more proper dress and could finally breath, then something proper of a footwear then there's the crazy idea… the window.
She'd have to find a way to jump out of it. The Luna mustn't see her leave the pack house at the particular time when she expected her to be crawling her way into her son's Stony heart. Something that's impossible?
It was tough getting a rope from the storage room without receiving weird stares from the guards around.
It was a successful escape, although she almost slipped while climbing down the window by the rope.
With the belief that a soon-to-be Luna shouldn't be seen by everyone, the Luna has been against her going out ever since she was brought in, but now… she's snatching herself from the bondage.
She's just going to find a nearest bar and have one cup or two, maybe by then, her head will fetch her numerous ideas for her use.
The noisy bar is filled with music, different bodies on the dance floor dancing through intoxication. For a thirty minutes walk, she sure got the best bar ever… the exact vibes she loves to see.
"One glass of vodka, please." She sat herself across the bartender mussed.
Across her was a blonde and a redhead burying her head into her girlfriend's hair sinking further into the seat they share and the genuine disgust face Ava made will make someone think this was the first time she'd be witnessing such a thing.
"Here it is." The bartender placed the ordered glass of vodka before her and leaned closer while she made a show of rolling her eyes at him, giving him the finger as he blows her a kiss.
"I've never seen you around. New here?" He asked eyebrow raised.
"No. Why do you care?" She countered shouting over the loud music.
In one word, both of them knew what they'd be doing soon, and how long they had be done each other's throat. Something Ava can't wait for, it's been a while.

"Why are you here?"
"Why? And why's that, the question?" His eyebrows pinched together, frustrated because over his dead body would be stay the whole day buried in work again without coming to check up on her.
"Kade told me you're busy, and infact, that looked like the truth. You have stacked piles of unattended work on your table."
"Careful, princess." He smothers a laugh with his hand and his eyes narrowed, "I only came to check your well-being and will be leaving soon since you want me out that bad."
The Alpha does not know how to quit. "it doesn't seem like you're leaving for anywhere anytime soon though.'
"Nice to know you're this interested in my schedule." His signature smirk turned into a sviff immediately instantly and he reached for the magazine that's always been there to keep his company.
"Wait…" before Alexia can speak, he said and she looked confused as she awaited him and ended up saying, "Never mind." The next second.
She shouldn't know her parents' texted or that he's preparing to go and see them very soon. He's so ashamed of himself he's never given them a thought.
"Nevermind? Okay." Her eyes closed as she fought a smile shaking her head.
