34. Control freak.
Ally had a rather hard time finding the perfect dress, and later on, wearing it. She never liked to be the "girly" girl, and everyone knew it. But this dress was unique; certain someone found out that she's forced to leave the castle yet again, and sent it to her. Red, in her eyes, reminded the color of passion and lust, those were the two things Ally knew her special someone could represent. Other than rage, destruction, and agony, of course.
She took her time, starting at her reflection in the mirror, wondering did she even knew the girl, staring back at her. The young woman reminded a Goddess, her figure perfectly hugged by the dress, blood-red heels making her look just a little taller. While she stood alone, Ally couldn't help herself, but wonder would she look good next to the male, who kept invading her dreams, nightmares and wildest fantasies. For a while now, Ally saw his face whenever she closed her eyes, oddly enough- most of the scenarios lead to hot, intense, and seemingly pleasurable scenes. How could one imagine and dream about such things, being a virgin?
"Get yourself together, Ally, it's almost time to go. You look good if he would see you, I'm sure he would like the way you look." She spoke out loud, encouraging herself to leave the room.
The truth was- Ally was terrified. She hated being seen in something other than pants and hoodie, but she would wear fancy clothes, no matter what. Today she had, for multiple reasons. One- they were going to attend Mary's birthday party, she was family, so they had to. Two- the dress was sent to her by none other than Wrath, and Ally did felt that the piece of fabric was more special to her than any other she had worn. Only Ally herself would know which was a more important reason for her to try harder and even struggle with makeup. Ally threw a last glance at herself, took a deep breath and left the room; her head held high.
"Ally, darling, you look stunning." Her father gasped, standing close the staircase, watching how Ally makes her way downstairs. Her steps were slow, making the young woman look as majestic as never.
Eros could feel how tears started filling his eyes, threatening to escape at any moment. He stood next to his daughter as she grew up, following along every new step she took. Year's ago, when everyone kept telling him how fast kids grow up- the stubborn King never listened, but today, he stood there, speechless, slowly taking in fact. His daughter was all grown up; time was unstoppable.
"Thank you, dad. I kind of wanted to make sure if I look okay or should I change into something different. But before you say anything, I must point out that this dress means a lot to me, and I'd love to wear it." As the young woman realised what the meaning behind her words was, Ally blushed. Her eyes widened, fearing that the King might find out from whom she received the new evening gown.
Everyone, who knew about the mystical encounter, thought that Ally hated Wrath, that she decided the man from the bottom of her heart. At first, she did, yet eventually, she noticed so many good things about him, Ally couldn't help herself but start to feel something for him. The young woman wasn't sure how the feelings blossomed, but she knew that the male was waiting for her. For centuries, Wrath led his way alone, without anyone by his side. And even if he didn't felt anything for Ally, it didn't matter. But he had to; no other way would he do everything to find her and link their souls together. The creature knew that her mother, unknowingly, broke the bond her daughter was supposed to have with him, yet he found another way.
"You're stunning the way you are. Ready to go?" Eros broke the thought bubble Ally had and brought her back to reality. The young woman smiled and nodded, still standing in the middle of the staircase.
"Almost ready, I'll grab my purse, and we can go. Not sure for how long we will stay there, but I'd love to take my phone with me, in case if the party dies down. We know how many oldies will be there, I might end up as the only teenager around there." Ally giggled and turned around, raking rushed steps towards her bedroom.
What the young woman didn't have any idea about was the dark silhouette, waiting for her in the room. Ally rushed into the closet, searching for the purse, suspecting absolutely nothing. Her thoughts, once again, trailed back to the violent man she would have to lead the life together. Would he change, just a little- for her? Or would she spend the rest of her life in misery, abused and beaten like so many mates do.
A pair of strong arms, wrapping around her waist startled Ally. Her breath hitched, but the reason wasn't fear. It was the intimate closeness- her back tightly pressed against rock-hard chest, the most gentle lips tracing butterfly kisses along her neck.
"I couldn't help myself, and I'm not sorry. You look even better than I imagined." The deep voice sent shivers down her spine.
Ally didn't think whenever he was around; she raised her hands and placed them on the sides of his neck. The young woman knew he would hold her tightly, but she was too scared to lose her balance, so she had to hold onto him. She couldn't trust her legs whenever she felt him near.
"You promised you wouldn't come. Breaking the promise so fast, huh? How could I trust you now, any of your future promises, at that?" Ally spoke with a wide grin on her lips. She was teasing him, the same way as Wrath always teased her.
The male groaned, grabbed her hips and turned the young woman around. His grip was dominant, lifting the Princess from the floor. She had to know who was in charge; she had to see this side of his before the powerful female thinks that she could ever lead him. Ally wrapped her legs around his waist, yelping in the surprise of his sudden actions.
"I do hold my promises." His low voice rang in her ear as soon as Allys back hit the wall. "But, I do hold rights to see my mate, in the dress I chose, as well. Let me tell you- you do look rather ravaging. Must be because you're the most beautiful woman I've laid my eyes upon, and all mine, if I may add." She could hear him smirking as he spoke.
The closeness between made Ally's heart race at an unknown speed, and she was sure that Wrath could feel it. Whenever they were alone, so close to each other, she couldn't think or act rationally. Her mind flooded with images of his half-naked body, her fingers running through his hair, sweat covering both of them, lips never parting from each other.
Without thinking, she bit onto her lower lip, trying to hold the moan from escaping.
"Don't do that, mate." Wrath growled at her, but there was no warning in his tone. The male was playing with her, more than usual.
"Don't do what?" Ally looked up at him through her lashes, playing as innocent as she could. She loved hearing his laugh, seeing the slight smile forming on his lips or even as much as the corners of his lips lifting a little.
"Don't bite your lip like that, I'm sure you can't imagine the things that do to me." Wrath whispered into her ear, tracing his lips close enough to make her breath hitch.
Ally rolled her eyes, mocking the male, who technically hold her under his power.
"Don't roll your eyes at me." Wrath growled, this time giving the Princess a warning. It wasn't just a game anymore; it was a moment to show her who had the most of control.
"Don't do this, don't do that. Why? Are you some sort of a control freak?" The mockery in her voice, filled with a whole lot of sarcasm nearly dripped from her worlds. Ally became irritated by his dominance, by the way, how Wrath effortlessly showed off who had the most power, whose voice was louder, and who would bring the other in submission.
"You know what? I'd love to control you." With that being said, he pushed his hips against Ally's core.
Her eyes grew wide; cheeks flushed, not a word left her lips. She dropped the last bits of resistance as soon as she felt his erected member against her.
*"That thing is enormous, holy fuck, I'll die."* Ally whined to her wolf, which was more than happy about the current situation. Seraphima didn't mind their closeness; she loved how they affected mate.
*"Have you forgotten that we were made for him, Ally? Just because the circle was broken, it doesn't mean that we would change. We won't, and he won't either. The fate, given by the Moon Goddess, can be broken only of one rejects other, and the rejection is accepted. Only like that. Also, sure you have forgotten that you're still a virgin, get your mind out of the gutter."* Seraphima laughed, implying on word virgin. Of course, the weird, way too steamy dreams Ally had for the past week did seem over the top. She didn't know that it was normal for young shifters to develop the need for sexual contact earlier than others. Some met their mates at the age of sixteen, completing the mating process within a week or two.
"Can you feel what you're doing to me, mate? Do you? For fuck's sake, I want to ravish you; I want to taste you in ways you wouldn't think were possible. I want to bury myself into you; I want to feel the taste of your skin on my tongue and lips. If only you'd know how hard it is to stay away if only you'd know how badly I want to tear that dress off of your delicate body and take what is mine. You're not ready, stop teasing me, woman. I swear you're one moan away from getting marked and mated here, in your damn closet. I'm sure you wouldn't want that- your father walking into us, making love." Wrath laughed, enjoying every effect his words left on Ally's body. The male enjoyed how ragged her breath became, how silent the young woman fell.
"I want to break you." The male whispered in her ear, pressed a light kiss behind her ear and faded into thin air.
Ally landed on her bum, dumbfounded and confused. Her eyes kept searching for his silhouette, unable to believe that he did leave her- hot, bothered and flushed. Aside from other things she felt, the young woman couldn't hide the sadness that overtook her. He left, without saying goodbye or promising to return. Ally feared that he left for good; she wouldn't see or feel him around for a year. It nearly broke the Princess; she needed that creature as much as he needed her, if not more. The more he was around her, the stronger their bind formed, soon it would be impossible to lead a day without being next to each other.
*"Don't be sad, he's not leaving for good. He will look after us; he will always stay around, trust me. Wrath might be a monster, but he's our monster, and trust me when I say this- he will make sure we're safe, no matter what. He will be there, watching."* Seraphima spoke up, her voice dreamy and excited.
For all that mattered, Ally hoped that her wolf was sure; she hoped that the male would stay close, no matter what.
*"Let's go downstairs before dad starts wondering what is taking us so long. We have to go to the birthday party, remember?"* Seraphima reminded Ally about the importance of time they had.
The young woman nodded her head and grabbed the first purse, mentally thinking about an excuse to give her father. She couldn't tell him that Wrath was in her room, holding her in such an intimate position. Not that she could tell her father how she had been dreaming about losing her virginity, at that.
Ally rushed downstairs, her father stood on the same spot, impatiently staring at his wristwatch.
"Finally, you took your time, didn't you?" Eros laughed, noticing his daughter rushing down the steps.
"Sorry, I'm a bit anxious about how the evening would go. Couldn't decide which purse would be the best. Sorry for the long wait, dad." Ally stood next to Eros, took his hand and pulled him towards the door, eager to leave.
She had to get her mind off the male, whose touch she could feel as if it was still happening.
"Ally, you're flushed. Is everything alright? Did something happen?" Eros raised an eyebrow, suspecting that something must have gone wrong with his daughter. He knew that he had to go and check her, but he ignored the screaming instincts, reminding himself that a young woman needs space and time. He was a father; Eros had to learn how to respect boundaries.
"I'm okay, dad. Just worried, that's all. Can we go? I wasted too much time already; don't want to be late. Plus, I want to go to the lake as we get there. I haven't seen that wonderful place in what seems to be ages." Ally whined, opening the door and rushing towards her father's car.
The King decided to drop the subject and sat in the driver's seat. He watched his daughter sat in the front passenger seat, next to him and stared outside the window. There must be something wrong with her; something must have happened. From now on, Eros would look after her more carefully, following his screaming instincts.
"Alright, let's get there. We will give the present to Mary, congratulate her and I'll need some time in the office. Balthazar invited some Alphas; I have to talk to them. Trying to do the pleasant and necessary at the same time." Eros chuckled, informing his daughter about the evening plans. "As soon as Mary gets her present, hugs and your kisses, you can go to the lake. You'll have an hour, after that, I'm out to look for you, got it, young lady?" His voice became stern at the end, warning Ally that she shouldn't lose track of time.
"Sure, dad."
