Chapter 104: Wedding bells, wedding day

ULYSSES ALEXANDERS P.O.V
They look at me when they arrive at my office. I know they're quiet surprised why I called them.
"Cynthia will never tell us the reason why she hug Evan, Yael and Pricilla. But I know she had a plan herself and we need to trust her."-I said.
"I know, I am just afraid, your majesty."-Vincent.
"I know, my parents and I will protect Pricilla whatever happens. No. We will protect each other. But I didn't call you here for that reason. Son, father Wallace, Vincent and Ildrich, I am planning to held a wedding for all of us this Friday."-I said.
"Wedding? This Friday?"-Ildrich. I nod.
"But why? I think this too sudden, son-in-law."
"I know. I am just suggesting these to the four of you. We don't know what tomorrow can bring that"s why I wanted to at least seize the moment that we have now."-I said. They seems to agree.
"I guess, I can agree into it. I wanted to marry Pricilla anyway."-Vincent.
"I will agree either. After Rita was targeted by an enemy, I wish to be there and protect her. As a husband is a cool one."-Ildrich. I smiled.
"Come to think of it, I miss the chance of marrying Cendrea for centuries. Maybe I should act now rather than weighing impossibilities."
"Okay then, I'll agree either, father. I guess we shouldn't wait for that war to end. Its better to give them reasons to stay alive while fighting."-son.
"Alright then. Son, you can use magic. This will be a surprise for them."-I said. He smiled.
"Leave it to me, father."-he said.
I visited Yael's house, the others is in the mansion and I know they're trying to ask Cynthia about her attitude last time. He look at me but he never stood up in sitting in his gazebo. I pour some tea on the cup and take a sip. I know he's worried too.
"Why did you visit?"-he ask. I shrug my shoulders.
"Nothing. I just feel like someone needs me here."
"Ohh? I don't think so."-he said. I laugh.
"Don't lie. I know your worried either."-I said.
"Yes. But if I keep on thinking about tomorrow, it will just ruin my day. I don't want to add more of Yasmin's anxiety about that matter. I know she's panicking herself."-he said. I nod.
"You can't take that away from her. I am trying to let her guard down and ask her what did she see. But I can promise you that we will never let any of us die that day. Just like what I did in that laboratory. We will hang in there and win no matter what."
"I know, thanks Ulysses. That means a lot to me."
After I talk to him, we just continue to talk about things that we planned for that day. Days had passed and I saw the beautiful outcome of my son's effort. I smiled and put my hand on his shoulder.
"Thanks son."-I said. He smiled.
"No problem father. I wanted to give our brides the wedding they deserve."-he said.
"I am also surprised to what you have done, grandson. You gave every details about each brides personalities."-father Wallace. His ears turn red.
"Thank you for appreciating my efforts. But should we tell them now or just tomorrow?"-he ask.
"Tomorrow. Let's say it's a surprise wedding."
"Oh, okay."-he said. Ildrich seems to be nervous.
"Hey, don't be nervous. Just be yourself because that's what Rita saw on you."-I said. He heave a sigh.
"I know. I didn't realize that I can be nervous over a wedding. I didn't even get nervous fighting an enemy but this? It's...I don't know."-he said.
"I also feel the same way."-Vincent.
"Let's just be ourselves. That's it."-I said. They just nod. When the night has fallen in Friday night, everyone is in the garden like always to have some tea after taking a dinner. Eugene look at me. I nod.
"You two come here and take a seat."-Cynthia. Our son snaps his finger. They look around when they saw the place. We decided to have a wedding in one of the mountains at the back of the castle.
The witnesses sat down on their respective tables and their clothes changes. The five of us also change our wedding clothes and Eugene let the women stood side by side as their clothes changes into a beautiful wedding dresses with the unique personalities. They look on us.
"I told you to give you a wedding you deserve but I know you don't mind having a wedding with other 4 couples, right?"-I said. She smiled and her eyes turns pink. I think...is she mad?!
"Silly."-she said. She look at them. Their eyes change colors and they all hold each others hand and walk slowly towards us. Yael starts clapping and so everyone. That was close.
"That makes me feel like dying."-Ildrich.
"It scares the hell out of me."-Vincent.
"I thought they'll punish us."-Eugene.
"That was close. I thought she'll throw me over the next mountain. My goodness."-father Wallace.
"My heart is still beating because I am nervous to her reaction. Next time I shouldn't make surprises like this big. Damn."-I uttered. They raise their hand and make a thumbs up. The girls are smiling when they're now in front of us.
CYNTHIA MAXIMILLIAN P.O.V
We can definitely see their nervous and afraid expression all over their face. Farrah's wedding dress had the design of dandelion flowers and a shade of light green color. For Rita"s dress it is color orange and with the design of butterflies and tulips. For Pricilla's dress its the classic white with the design of fur and her favorite flower, carnation. For mother's clothes, its purple. There are designs of her favorite flower which is white roses. For me? It's the color of my eyes, color green with the design of purple butterflies and red roses.
"What kind of faces did you guys had? I think your the one that are nervous."-I said. They laugh.
"Maybe I shouldn't drag them into my plan of a surprise wedding. I feel bad about it."-he said. I chuckle and fickle her head. He look at me.
"Maybe you shouldn't next time, honey."
"Oh, I agree."-he said. They held our hand as they look on us intently. I smiled sweetly.
"Thank you, Ulysses. I appreciate this."-I said. Aunt Clara makes a snow that added the romantic ambience. Then the wedding rings for each couples float in front of us. He took my ring.
"I...king of the wolves will promise to be a husband for an eternity and I will always follow you. I will always cherish you, make you laugh and be one of the happiest wives in the world. I'll always choose you no matter what. I love you more than the world it can be."-he said. That made me cry and when he put my wedding ring in my finger, I'm overwhelmed. Then father say his wedding vow. He cough.
"I...don't know what to say. I have broken my promises to you and hide from you for over centuries. We lost so many chances but this time, I won"t let it happen again. I'll keep you by my side and we'll create more memories together as husband and wife."-he said and put her ring.
"Uhm! I...what should I say? This is harder that I thought! Uhm...okay. I won't promise anything. Your older than me but what I can do is to be a husband that will stood in front of you and for our future kids. I hope you can accept my flaws and...let's be together for an eternity, is that fair?"-Eugene. Farrah giggled as she nod her head. He put the ring in her finger and then Vincent speak next.
"I don't what future and tomorrow brings. But I have miss so many chances to confess to you. Thanks to Cynthia I have gathered up my courage to do so. I will protect you no matter what and lets move forward together. I love you Pricilla since 12 years ago and beyond."-he said, he put the ring.
"And me...? Good thing you still walk down the aisle even if I didn't consult you with this wedding. But...Rita, what I can is to be with you for the rest of my life. I will always look after you and no matter what happens I'll cherish you and give you the things I can. I love you, of course. Always."-Ildrich. He put the ring in her finger. Now its my turn.
"Me? What should I say. I think I already say it to you so many times. Oh, wait! Don't dare to be in Estella's hand again. Mostly! You're just mine, okay? And also, I love you more."-I said and put his ring.
They laugh because I threatened him instead.
"And me? You're right, we have miss each other for centuries. Let's be together from now on, okay? I promise that I will be with you this time. Let's take care this family from now on. I love you."-mother.
"I don't what exactly I should say either. I am surprised because I became a part of my master's family but its weird that I became her granddaughter-in-law. But...I will try to fulfill my duty as your mate and wife... Thank you for being a good to me, I love you."-she said. Eugene smiled unconsciously and it was cute. It made me smile too.
"And me? What should I say too? This is a surprise wedding and I can't find words to say. But...thank you for taking a step, finally! Just kidding. I don't what will happen tomorrow but I promise that I will cherish you and love you always secretary of the king. I love you, Vincent. That's true."-she said and put the ring on his finger. Rita looks nervous.
"Uhm...I love you? Sorry, but I am happy that today you finally wanted to be my husband. Thank you for always being there for me and pamper me the most. I'll be a wife that will always stood beside you, I promise that, Ildrich."-she said. He smiled when Rita put the ring in his finger. Everyone stood up and clap their hands in glee.
"Congratulations everyone!"-they said. We smiled at them. We are all surprise when doves suddenly lifted our veils and a force made by the air pushes us towards our husbands. It's grandmother.
"Kiss!"-she shouted. Everyone giggles. I didn't even say an objection when he grab my waist and give me a torrid kiss. I wrap my hands around his neck.
"Let's start the celebration!"-grandmother. The food is serve as we all dances and enjoy the food that they cook for tonight's wedding. When he ask me to dance with him, I smiled and went to the center.
"Cynthia what are you hiding about my cousin, Evan and Yael?"-he ask. I gulp, I thought he won't ask anymore. But I guess he is just waiting.
"Answer me Cynthia, please?"-he begs. Damn it!
