Chapter 67: Some things are shady

GABRIELLE HUMPHRIES POV
I smiled and hug him as soon as our room's door closes. I look at him. I ask mother and father to have time with him first before they speak to him.
"I really miss you, George."
"Me too, my princess. I am sorry if I have to stay longer in the border. It's just that villagers are pestering us about the random abductions that happens to their places."
"Abduction? For what reason, my husband?"
"I don't know either. They complained and when we visits them to ask for further questions they suddenly denied that the missing persons are their husband, sons, daughters, siblings or relatives. I just feel like they are fooling us."
"How dare they do that! What an imprudent citizens! They are fooling their next king?! I can't believe how thick-faced they have been!"-I said.
"Don't worry, I already settled that. Those are just unspoken and not important issues. I just do the papers and decides to go back in the capital. I don't want to waste time for such stupid complaints."
"That's right. You have done a good decision, my husband. Such trivial things should be left behind."
"Yes. One thing also, I just investigated about the gossips that I heard about royal father. It was all just a useless accusations. I just do my best to settle it down before I comes home today. I wanted to please royal father for our sake, my wife."
"Aww, thank you George. I really appreciate it."
"I know."-he said. I kiss him and he kiss me back. I have to do what mother said. We should consummate our marriage by now. He slowly lay me down the bed and undress me. I smiled and threw away my embarrassment after he look at my naked body. This is the day I waited for.
"I love you, George."-I said.
"I know, Gabrielle."-he said. Then he started our consummation. It was my happiest day of my life. When I open my eyes, the sun is already high and of course, he is not beside me anymore. He must be talking to mother and father. I stood up. I decided to take a bath myself and just shouted for maids when I need to dress up myself. I have to be beautiful when I face him again. Finally, no one can take him away from me. He is mine forever.
"Good morning father and mother. Especially to my loving husband."-I said. They smiled.
"Good morning to our princess. You seems to be happy."-mother. I nodded and just smile.
"Why don't we all eat our breakfast?"-he said.
ULYSSES ALEXANDERS POV
I check this papers when I notice something. When did this family had a business transaction with Philip West? What a pain in the neck. Investigating can lead you into great surprises and I must say its true.
"Here's your coffee. Where's Estella?"-she ask.
"She left after I coax her. I will just visit her at night and eat dinner with her. I don't want her here while I'm working. She might know something that she shouldn't."-I said. She nodded. She look at me and I can tell that she wanted to say something. I pulled her down and made her sit on my lap.
"Tell me what the problem is, Cynthia."-I ask.
"Nothing."-she said. I hug her and pinch her nose.
"You're not good in lying, I love seeing you like this. You're cute when your jealous."-I said.
"I'm sorry. I can't stop myself not to feel so. These past few days it feels like my emotions are mixed up and sometimes I eat weird combinations. I don't know, maybe I'm just out of my normal self unlike before."-she said. I caress her cheeks and speak.
"You are free to express yourself when I'm around Cynthia. I promise that I won't judge you and get mad at you. Not anymore because I don't have that force hatred for you."-I said. She laugh softly.
"I love you, king of Skyfall."-she said. I kiss her softly and gently. Its like the first confession of her. The first I love you from her. It's sweet and warm.
"Me too. I love you more, Cynthia."-I said.
The door opens and a smiling Pricilla enters the room. We smiled when we saw her alive and okay.
"The arrogant duchess is back. Welcome home my cousin."-I said. She laugh and place the folder in the table and signed us to open it.
"What is this?"-I ask. She sighed and became bitter.
"I really wanted to tie her neck or torture her the worst I can do."-she said. We look at the pictures and papers that the folder had.
"Is this Estella's files in that orphanage where she stays?"-I ask. She nodded and walk back and forth.
"Yes. Read it, it will tell you how did she fooled us and create such a picture perfect façade. Let me just go to her and kill her!"-she screamed.
"Sshh. Someone might hear you."-Cynthia. My forehead wrinkles as I continue to read and look at these pictures. How did she fooled us like this? She just uses us for what reason? Why did she came to Skyfall kingdom?! Cynthia took a picture of a bracelet and glance on it. Her expression changes as she stood up and walk from left to right.
"I think I saw this bracelet before."-she said.
"And where did you see that bracelet?"-Pricilla.
YASMIN EDROS POV
We keep on walking and tried not to show any clues to these beings who are working in this laboratories. My eyes widened when I saw these beings inside their cubicle. There is a bluish water that fills the tank and some of these people are releasing something by clicking buttons.
"That's how they release their medicines and even the potions that might turn them into moonacres."
"I can't believe that this place exist."-Rita.
"Let's go and try to take some papers about their studies. We shouldn't let them notice us."-I said. They followed me and when we entered to one of their office, we all scan the cabinets and find something. We better find something in this papers.
"This. I found the right folder. We should leave now. Let's go."-Chenqian said. We went outside and when we get outside from that laboratory by walking along with their employees that went outside the shore. We hide on this bush. Ildrich took a teleportation talisman and he burn it off.
The next place that we saw are the green trees on the backyard of Skyfall castle. We look at the little vampire. We better call Nathan and Rachel here.
"Welcome back."-Windy. We smiled at her.
"Giant sabretooth tiger? What kind of pet did wolves have?"-he said. We started walking when we saw everyone at the garden. Those three seems to be busy in their trainings. They look on us.
"Welcome home, big sis!"-Dallas and Daisy.
"We're home everyone. Where's the king and queen?"-I ask. Those who are not present here jump off from the windows. They must have smell us.
"Dallas, where is the king—Yasmin!"
He ran to me and hug me in an instant. I laugh and hug him too. We are separated for only four days but it feels a long years for the two of us.
"I am happy that the four of you are alive and in good shape."-he said. I smiled and we look at them.
"We have a bunch of evidences here as well as..."
"It's so cute! He is very pale, red-haired and her body is squishy!"-Cynthia said. She instantly hug the vampire and even pinch him. Our eyes blink.
"Uhm, Cynthia...that kid is a vampire. He might suck your blood and kill you...?"-I said. She never stops touching and pinching the poor vampire.
"What kind of weird witch is she?"-he ask.
"She is...the queen of Skyfall."-I said.
"I know. She was imprinted by an alpha. But why is she acting—let me go—like this?!"-he said.
"Ulysses, I want a baby as cute as him."-she said.
"Puffftt!"-Bambi. She spits the tea she's drinking.
CYNTHIA MAXIMILLIAN POV
Everyone look at me. Their expression are surprised and amazed. I smiled and look at the kid.
"Your name is Gavin, right? Do you want some treats? I just baked goodies a while ago. Why don't you try them?"-I said. Floating baskets of baked goodies comes out from the castle. His jaw drops as the food aligns in front of him.
"I don't eat sweets."-he remarks.
"Aww, that's bad. Your missing out the best food in the world. You're a vampire you won't get any sickness in overeating human foods. Just try any of these. Let's say its our way of welcoming a new visitor."-I said. His eyebrow arches and speak.
"Are you some kind of a freeloader, queen of wolves?"-he ask. I shrug my shoulder.
"Let's say I can be evil and a good witch. Ah, I'm just in between of them. I can be both when situation ask for it. So...just pick one and be my judge. Don't worry there is no poison or any type of potion in my treats."-I said. He sighed and pick some brownies and cupcake. He took a bite and I love seeing him. Kind of weird thought but... whatever. Let me just enjoy this moment.
"Mother...mother..."
I look around as I heard that voice again. What is wrong with me? Why am I hearing that voice. I am sure ghost don't exist. Just dead being under necromancy exist. But ghost? Nah, they don't exist.
"Uhm. Its delicious. At least I believe now that witches are good cooks."-he said. I smiled. I held his hand and use a spell to know what kind of memories did he have to make him create a thick wall between his emotions and mindset.
"No! Mother! Father!"-he shouted. His father and mother that are being tied in silver chains are being killed right in front of him. Philip West just took thrust his silver sword in their heart as they turn to ashes. Karen uses her power to make him fall asleep.
"Bring him to father. I know he can think of a way how to use that kid."-he said. They all leave. The next thing I saw is what we wanted to know. He was out in a capsule. Potion and poisons are being added on the water that makes them float inside.
"You have your own hard time, little vampire."
"You peek on my memories, aren't you?"
"Yes. Tell me, what kind of place is that?"
"You're the queen then you know their reasons why they sneak away in Southeast region."-he said.
"Moonacres. They're using any beings to poison them and even use potions for their aim."
"I'll be honest. Are you capable of stopping them?"
