MIRANDA PLAINS POV
This is the right time for me to investigate about my husband s death. But I already promise myself that I won t create any mess that will bring Skyfall into chaos. She look at me confused.
"Tell me, aunt Miranda? Why did you want to go back in that place? That brings bad memories for you isn t it? Are you bringing Dallas and Daisy?"
"No. It s not that kind of going back. I decided to find my husband s remains and investigate about his sudden disappearance."-I said. She took a deep breath and sat down again. I smiled. I hug her.
"Thank you because you found us, princess Cynthia. I promise myself that wherever you are, that will be our home too. The kids and I won t be going anywhere, I promise that to you."-I said.
"Thanks, aunt Miranda. You and the kids are my family. I will be lonely if you guys will left me."
"I know. Don t worry, I will be careful and after I find his remains, I will be back home."-I said.
"Okay. Make sure of that. Wait…I suddenly remember. Before Ulysses and I reach that village. We need to walk through over a mountain. We both saw different bones on that place. I don t know why but maybe, you can find answers on that place. Its on the westward of that village. That place is a bit misty and reeks of a dead smell. Maybe from the people that is being left there and even animals as well. You can try to start there."-she said.
"Thank you, Cynthia. Tell everyone I left already. Make sure the kids won t follow me. Your cousins haven t teach them all the basics yet. They have to concentrate on their training."-I said.
"I will. Go home if there is red flags, okay?"
"I will. I ll see you the soonest."-I said. She nodded. I disappeared and I appeared in our old house here. It is full of spiders now and mostly dust. This might not ne a big house but this hold my memories with my husband. 'I ll make sure that I ll find you, my love. Just wait for me. I went out and disguise.
"Good morning."-I said. She just continue to walk. I catch her up and as soon as I hold her palm, I acquire her nightmares. I let her go. What was that?
"My son…my son…"-she said and walk away. I saw it clearly, she witnessed her son being drag by the soldiers of the kingdom! What is happening here?
"Did she bother you?"-a soldier said. This man is one of them. My jaw tightened. I cast a curse to him.
"No. No. I m okay."-I said. He left me after. I decided to go on that mountain.
"What kind of place is this? A landfill for humans?"
ILDRICH EDROS POV
Yael called me and talk to me first before we will leave today for our investigation in Southeast region.
"Is there a problem, Yawl?"-I ask. He sighed.
"I need to talk to you to make sure that you ll take care of the girls. You re a Beta and you re the soldier. In any emergency that might happen, you know what to do."-I said. I smiled and nodded.
"Don t worry Yael, I will protect everyone. We will go home safely and as soon as we can. We won t let you down. Even our king and queen."-I said.
"I am happy to hear that. That s what I needed to hear from you, your sister and I just started to build our family. I wanted to spend eternity with her."
"Thank you for making my big sister happy, Yael. Don t worry, we will all see little Yael s and Yasmin s altogether. That s for sure."-I said. He smiled.
"Thank you brother-in-law. I am entrusting the girls to you. Good luck and bring us good news."
"I will. I promise."-I said. He nodded. A moment later, Yasmin hug him and kiss him.
"We will be back the fastest that we could. Just focus on your obligations on our investigation."
"Yes, I will Yasmin. Don t worry."
Cynthia appeared in front of us and she is smiling.
"I made it. On time. Hey, before you guys leave. I have something to do on you."-she said. She bite her finger and hold our wrist. A mark appears.
"This mark will either protect you and lend you a strength for emergency cases. Most of all, you guys will be teleported here automatically. Remember this, no matter how important this investigation, your lives is more important. Chenqian, promise me that you won t be in any danger again, okay?"
"Don t worry, everyone is with me. We will be back as fast as we could."-she said. She smiled.
"Princess Cynthia, when we came back, keep your promise to me, okay?"-I said. She smiled.
"Uhm. We ll see you guys. Be back home soon"
"Yes."-we said. The next place we saw is this familiar place. It is still the same. It reeks with blood and awful aura. We look at each other.
"It s been ages."-big sister. We look around and start walking. Sooner or later, the slaying council will realize that we are here in their territory.
"We better start working before the evils runs amuck."-I said. This is a familiar place. A place where it gives us horrors that we will never forget.
"Hey! The four of you!"-a man s voice.
"What is it?"-I said in a firm tone. They look on us.
"Newbies in their village should pay for their visitation."-he said. What is this, extortion? Damn.
NATHAN JACQUES POV
I saw how distressed she is. I signed her to sit beside me. She look at me in a worried face.
"What is wrong with you? You re making me fell dizzy. Tell me, what is the problem?"
"I am thinking about the sudden changes of the officials in certain cities in the kingdom. They are asking for autonomy? Are they insane?"
"I see. That s the reason. Rachel, you don t have to be stressed out like that. I already knew their reasons. No matter how Salvador tried to control Twinmoon, they won t succeed. So stop worrying over trivial things, my wife."-I said.
"This is a serious problem, Nathan. Once that Philip West succeeds to persuade more officials to ask fro autonomy, there will be big chances that they can persuade vampires to be their soldiers."
"I already think of that. This is a warning of Philip for the two of us as he saw that we are not interested in the alliance that he wanted between us and Southeast region."-I said. She look at me.
"Then we better do something or else, we will be doomed Nathan. I am telling you, I will never traitor my little sister. That will never happen."-she said.
"And so I am. You think I will let that Salvador be my ally after what she did to my aunt? My second mother? He must have really thought I forget about that or never care about that but that is wrong."
"Then we have to come up with a solution. As soon as possible. We better do it or I ll use the other way which is I m good at."-she said. I chuckled.
"You are very anxious about this sudden chaos in our kingdom, Rachel. You are indeed Twinmoon s queen."-I said. She gave me death glare.
"How did you find time to tease me while we are facing a problem here? I can t believe you, Nathan."
"Let s just say…I am just relaxing because I never let my enemies get into my way."-I said. My eyes turn red and show her that I am dead serious.
"Nathan, we better do our best to control our own officials. This time you have to show them that you are no longer that happy-go-lucky king that they used to know."-she said. I brush her hair.
"I never leave my obligations, Rachel. I might go to parties and show that I am a playboy but I knew who are my enemies and traitors in my own place. Trust me, my queen."-I said. She suddenly froze.
"That means…you also do that as a cover up?"
"Uh-umm. I knew that Salvador will create a problem soon so I already do my own investigations. I won t let those traitors use the innocents."
"I m happy to hear that, Nathan."-she said in smile.
PRICILA VARGAS POV
I finally found this place. I look at the back of the picture. I smirk and put it back on my coat.
"I finally found you."-I said and get inside.
"Good morning ma am, how may I help you?"
"I am here to tall to your head. Tell her that it s the duchess of Skyfall. Make sure that you keep it secret or else…you know what I mean."-I said. She nod.
"I understand, your highness."-she said and leave her desk. She signed me to follow her. Easy-peasy.
"It s been a long mistress Ofrah."-I said. She signed the receptionist to leave us alone. She gave me a gaze and I just simply smile at her.
"Don t give that face. We re classmates long ago remember?"-I said. She cross her arms and smile.
"I know. You sly duchess, what took you so long to visit me, hmm? After all those stupid pranks we did on that school."-she said. I laugh.
"Well, being a duchess under an idiot king is tiring and full of papers there and here. But let s talk about my concern first. I wanted to ask about this kid. Can you find any papers or details about her for me? She came from this orphanage."-I said.
"No problem. It will be easy."-she said.
"Lovely. I am happy that you are now the in charge here. It will be easy to investigate."-I said.
"Follow me."-she said. I followed her. We went inside a big room with lots of cabinets. We stop on a cabinets where she made threw the picture and one of the drawer pulled over. The folders flew down on us along with Estella s picture from the first months when we rescued her.
"This girl seems to be one of the mysterious and unlikely child that is being left in this orphanage."
"What did you mean by that?"-I ask.
"That cabinet and the drawers on that were files of the children that either left here unknown or the caregivers saw something different from that child."
"It only means that my hunch is right. Our hunch is right."-I said. I open her folder. It was said here that she was left in June by a bird in front of this orphanage. The worker also notice that Estella is already 13 years old at that time.
"Tell me, duchess Pricilla, why are you looking for that child s details?"-she ask. I smiled.
"Let s say I meet her and I find some strange things that she do."-I said. She nodded and speak again.
"You can talk one of the oldest worker here. She might answer some questions about that girl."
"Can you bring me to her then? Thank you for doing this favor."-I said. She nod, I followed her.
'Let s see what kind of secrets you have, Estella.
