Chapter 34 There must be a spy

ULYSSES ALEXANDERS POV
I can sense the scent of the elderly. I went down there and spoke to them myself. Dusk's king and queen have also arrived. But Cynthia must have known the queen. They're both hugging each other. Pricilla and Vincent were standing next to me. I ask them first.
"Elders, we have guests. an we discuss in here?"
"There's no problem."-elder Tony said. They entered first.
"Talk to them for a minute, Cynthia. King Evan and queen Alexa, welcome to the Skyfall palace."
"Pleasure is ours, King Ulysses,"-they replied.
"Please pardon us for a moment."-I said. We enter the building, and they wait for us in my office. I sat in my chair and stared at them. What's the news this time?
"We were aware of what happened in that village. Do you think you need to explain this?"
"Simple. We are here to assist. Because no one has been harmed, there is no reason to sulk, elder Tony. Don't you think you're making a big deal out of nothing?"-I ask.
"Yes. Your pack arrived safely. But, king Ulysses, we have never interfered in human affairs for decades. You're aware of this. You haven't forgotten, have you?"-elderly Ruben. I sigh. I don't get them at all. They sought to safeguard our race, but they are the ones who are nosy, most of the time.
"Look. The witch who is willing to assist us requests a simple favor from us. That is, to assist other races as much as possible. I think it's not that horrible. We feel the same way. You can even see that if we do what she asks, we will have more allies than enemies, which is beneficial."-Vincent.
"If that's the case, you must ensure that our friends outnumber the opponents we could confront if they attack. We have our own problems and concerns, which the three of you must consider."-elder Allan
"Don't be concerned. We were aware of our limitations."-I said. Elder Tony placed a folder in front of us. He discusses the folder with Pricilla. What could it possibly be?
"That folder contains spies who might be placed in various kingdoms, villages, and towns. That folder contains information about who the individual who must be in our kingdom is. Pricilla and Vincent attempt to identify the spy."-elder Tony. She opens it.
"The three of you should be the only ones who are aware of it. The less people who know about it, the better. Now, we must be cautious in everything we do for the sake of the kingdom's safety."-elder Allan.
"That tip is given off by the witch who is the treaty council's council leader. Regardless of whether or not we have a spy in this kingdom? We must take precautions. Things like this should not be put aside."-elder Ruben.
CYNTHIA MAXIMILLIAN POV
I smiled as the three of us sipped our tea in this gazebo. Aunt Miranda is busy working distributing the additional support that we can provide to these refugees.
"I can't believe you've come all the way here, Cynthia. We haven't seen each other in ages."-queen Alexa. I flashed a smile. I also misses her so much.
"Yes. We haven't seen each other in three years. Back then, you were just a crown princess."-I says.
"So you're the princess that my wife is referring to. She stated that you are a long-lost friend of hers."- King Evan.
"Thank you if you keep me in your heart at all times."
"Of course I do. We've been friends since childhood. But after I became a queen, I went to the Dusk castle. Your father has always claimed that you are terminally ill or otherwise unable to meet us. I knew he was still putting you in that dungeon."-she says. I gave her a bitter smile and took her hand in mine. Alexa had always been a sweet and gentle woman. She, like George, is the only noble lady who does not consider me as dirt or an enemy. That's why Gabrielle chose to bully her, but George is always there to save us.
"I am now in a better place. I have a family I can call on, and now you're here. Reuniting with me. I'm glad to see you like this after all these years, Alexa."
"Me as well. I'm glad to see you're living a carefree life."-she stated. I shed her tears away from her cheeks.
"The queen and I would like to express our gratitude to everyone who assists tour citizens."-king Evan.
"Actually, that lovely girl out there is the one who saves them, even if she nearly dies."-I said, pointing to Chenqian. The children are surrounding her as they place a flower crown on her head. They exchanged a friendly smile.
"From now on, we will undoubtedly be indebted to Skyfall."
"Don't worry about all this. Everyone and Ulysses wants to support in which ever way we can. Also, I must inform you that I am now a witch. My mother cursed me. That is going to be triggered after..."
"A witch? Activated after what?"-she questions.
"After Gabrielle murdered me during her birthday banquet."
""Wait a minute, what?! Gabrielle played great. That comes as no surprise. She's been wicked since she was a child."-she said. I grabbed a talisman. I handed it on to her. She glances on me.
"Place this anywhere in Dusk Castle. To activate it, King Evan and your blood should be poured on it. This will form a protective barrier around the Dusk kingdom. Anyone who tries to assault your citizens will be sent back to their region, or they will be frozen and you will be able to catch them."
"B-but...Cynthia, I mean thank you. You're not joking, are you?"-she ask. I smiled and nodded.
"Aunt Clara will prepare some healing medicines for you. Then here's a teleportation talisman."-I said.
"Thank you so much, princess Cynthia."-King Evan. I smile.
"Feel free to call me Cynthia. Anyway, let's go on. I believe the tea has cooled."-I said. They are both smiling. They were about to leave when the three arrived. The elders seems to have already left the palace.
"We are delighted that King Ulysses and everyone are assisting our people. Just let us know what we can do, and we'll be pleased to help."-King Evan.
"We will keep that promise,"-he declared.
"Chenqian, my queen and I will give you this. It's our modest token of gratitude for saving everyone."-he said. Alexa gave her with a bracelet. She smiles and turns to face them.
"I'll treasure this as proof that I've accomplished something meaningful in my life."-she stated. Alexa smiled.
"You did great. Cynthia, come to our castle every now and then. I'll do the same thing. Please take care of yourself."-she murmured as she hugged me. Aunt Clara moved in closer.
"Aunt Clara, please take care of this silly,"-she said.
"Don't be concerned, queen Alexa. This old lady will definitely keep an eye on her. We'll pay you a visit one of these days."-she said. They exchange hugs. They all gather and wave to us. We return the gesture by waving. I snap my finger and they were transferred back to their kingdom.
"Agh."-I murmured. My mark has given me a burning sensation. I take a look at it. It wasn't my birthmark. It's his mark, which he imprinted to me as his mate. I turn around to face him. His eyes become yellow, and he begins to pant. Then we noticed that the sunlight seemed hazy.
"Oh my goodness, a lunar eclipse. We had forgotten about it. Cynthia, please transport yourself and Ulysses to his room right now."-Pricilla. I did precisely that, and we ended up in his room. My body is feeling heated, which is similar to how I feel after drinking that aphrodisiac. He grabbed my head and kissed my lips. I kissed him back, then we undressed and touched each other. I shove him against the wall and caress him there. He sighs, lifts me a little, and sucks my nipples. We have no control over the urge that arises within us. He pushed me to the bed and then separated my legs. He knelt and began licking my v****a and my body arches. I can feel my orgasm all the way down. I'm looking at the lunar eclipse. Every eclipse in wolves causes the alphas and their mark mates to experience an overwhelming yearning. That is called lovemaking.
"What's the point of looking at eclipses for so long?"
"Nothing."-I replied. Yasmin and Lord Yael had been gone for five days to Dawn kingdom. What is it that has taken them so long? I'm hoping nothing bad happens to them. He sat next to me. I tried not to respond strangely.
"Then let us all enjoy the eclipse together. We had already done our work in the garden."-he said. I've been wanting to question Yasmin or him about it, but I don't have the opportunity, and the time isn't even ideal. Is it okay if I ask it now? Can you tell me how you and Yasmin departed the Southeast region, Ildrich?"-I inquire. He lets out a sigh.
"I apologize if I am being too curious."-I said. But he speaks out.
"It's a complicated story. When I'm seven years old, my sister and I lose our mother. Then, during a battle against slayers, my father died when I was 10 and my older sister was 17. We believed we'd been rescued, but our misery began when we moved to the Southeast area."-he said.
"However, it appears? I'll be nagging you more since I'm curious about how Aunt Cendrea saved you two."
"Once, a slayer in charge of nurturing us grabbed my sister in their barn. When I saw it, I immediately followed her. He tortured my sister in order to weaken her and almost raped her. "Ah, I see. As for me? I'm being saved after conniving with a vampire and nearly died. When I awoke, I found myself in the southern provinces of this kingdom, in a wonderful mansion. I learned a lot from an elderly wolf. She died naturally nine years ago, which is when I met everyone, but after two years, our pack split in half."-I said. He heaves a sigh. We could be thinking the same thing. Something is very weird with Estella Holsen. I'm not sure why, but I get a feeling she's the type of woman that causes havoc wherever she goes. Just as she did to our pack, which is meant to be harmonious."
"Estella, her past is quite nefarious for me."
"I also have the impression that she is someone who creates disaster in the lives of everyone around her."- I said. We both get up from the mat I've placed on the ground.
"Don't you believe..."-I murmured. He takes a glance at me.
"...she's a spy?"- he continued. What if she's really a spy?! But what Estella wants in Northwest region?
