Chapter 57 Mixed feelings

XAVIER MILLS POV
My reflection is on the window glass. I feel restless after Jillian decides to visit Glaiza on her own. A memory from 133 years ago flashes in my mind.
"What is wrong with you? You seems to be restless and worried. Is there any problem?"-I ask.
"I thought she will listens but she never stops, Xavier. I am worried on how she tried to harm my woman. I feel like I was the reason why she needed to face those problems. What should I do?"
"Trust her. She is a strong woman and she can handle herself. Just be with her and protect her as well. You can t change that bitch, best friend. That is her choice and the first thing you can do is to protect your woman and behave, okay?"
"Thanks, Xavier. You always save my butt when I m distressed. How about you and Jillian?"
"She is too focused and trying to be a powerful witch that her parents can be proud off. She is doing great actually. She said that if I can wait for her a little longer, she ll be a good wife for me. That means that I should put my faith in her."
"That s good news! You better be patient!"
"Of course. I love her and I will never give up."
I snap of fingers in front of me wakes me up. It s our son. He must have noticed that I am distressed.
"Father, are you okay? I mean are you sure your not thinking any weird thoughts? Mother will be okay."
"I don t know son. Wait for us here, I better follow her."-I said. I teleported myself and open the door of Glaiza s office. She is choking Jillian. I raise my hand and she is being thrown on the ceiling.
"The knight in shining armor."-she said, smirking.
"Maybe you should ve die!"-I shouted. But my wife stops me and shook her head. I sigh. Glaiza landed on the floor safely and smile devilishly.
"Remember what I said, Glaiza. I may not be your greatest enemy, but if you continue this? You will end up in greater sorrow and regrets. Hon, let s go home. I am hungry."-she said. I nodded. She teleported us back in our room. I hug her.
"I told you to bring me with you. I told you that she will never change, Jillian."-I said. She hug me back.
"I know. But I am still giving her chances and if she don t change then at least I won t regret anything. Thank you for saving me, honey."-she said. I held her face and claimed her lips. I push her down the bed and end up in a steamy lovemaking. A century had been passed but my feelings for her never changes nor fades away. I will always love her.
"I love you."-we both said. We laugh and kiss again.
ULLYSSES ALEXANDERS POV
I place the bowl on the tray and hold her hand. I better put her to sleep. I feel like I ll burst out at any moment if I stay here longer. She smiled.
"Stay here until I feel asleep, Ulysses."
"I will. Don t worry. You have to take a rest now. I know you have been tired because of what happened. I hope this won t happen again, okay?"
"Uhm I promise not to create any problem for you again. I m really sorry. I knew Pricilla will scold you again."-she said. I just fake a smile.
"Don t worry. She just scold me but she love me enough to understand me. Come on, sleep now."
"Can you sing for me then?"-she ask.
"Okay."-I said. I started singing until she slowly closes her eyes. I made sure she s in a deep sleep before I stood up. I look at her with hatred in my eyes. 'I knew you are hiding more than what I can expected, Estella. But I will make sure that you will learn your lesson for fooling me and using me with your stupid plans. You better stay here and feel my wrath, Estella Holsen. I left her room and went home. Vincent is waiting for me in my office.
"What s the matter, Vincent? Are you waiting for me?"-I ask. He nodded and he wait for me until I sat on my chair. He seems to be serious.
"Your majesty, I have been thinking about this lately. I wanted to suggest to investigate about the noble and rich families who can go out in out kingdom."
"Because of what reason?"-I ask.
"The noble families might choose to traitor us and became an ally of our enemies. As for the rich families, there is a big chance that they will support the experiments or studies that the enemies are making. That s why I wanted to suggest that we should investigate them as well."-he said.
"You have a point. There are possibilities with your hunch. Maybe we should discuss that with everyone. Call Yael, Nathan and Rachel even the ruler of Dusk. We have to tell them your idea as well."-I said.
"Thank you for considering my suggestion, your majesty. At the same time, I have to tell you something as well."-he said. I look at him.
"Then spill the beans, Vincent."-I said. He sighed.
"I m in love with your cousin. I knew you have an idea with that. It s a love at first sight."-he said.
"Yes. I did have a hunch. Are you asking for my permission, Vincent?"-I ask. He nodded.
"Yes. You are our alpha and she is your cousin. I wanted to pursue my feelings. We are facing a great danger and I don t want to regret anything if I won t try to show her my feelings."-he said. I smiled.
SONG CHENQIAN POV
Everyone has been called by Ulysses. This seems to be an important meeting. Pricilla speaks.
"What s with this all cast meeting, king Ulysses?"
"I have an important announcement and request at the same time. I called everyone because I really need your help."-he said. We nodded.
"Due to the problems we are facing, we have to start investigating inside of our kingdoms as well. We should know who among the officials and citizens are innocents, enemies and traitors. We have to face certain truths that we might have enemies and traitors in our own territory. Therefor, I wanted everyone to start investigating."-he said.
"That s true, we should see every side of the paper if we wanted to make sure that we are not being stab by our allies and people."-king Evan.
"Vincent also think that there is chances that noble families whether they re officials or rich families, there is a chance that some are traitors. They either believe on the enemies principles and some might be giving a fund on their experiments or studies."
"If Vincent is right, Ulysses. Your suggestion of investigation within our territory is helpful to determine who are the enemies."-king Nathan.
"Yasmin, Yael and I will start to investigate in the Southeast region one of these days. We will try to know if their laboratories are within that region."
"Chenqian is right. We might start by next week. This is the only thing that we can do."-Yasmin.
"If you guys are serious in investigating on that place, you have to train for I at least a month or so. To make sure that you can come back safely."
"I understand where your coming from, Marko."
"I have a perfect place for the everyone s training grounds. The time on that place is different. An hour here is one week on that place."-Cynthia.
"Then we might go there to train."-Rita.
"Okay then. That is settled."-Pricilla.
"Before I forgot, I wanted to announce another ting as well. This is about Marko s marriage. He already decided to get married."-king Ulysses. I tried to make a neutral expression. Even if I am hurt and want to leave. I don t want to hear it. I can t.
"You wanted to get married? That so sudden, Marko. But…not a bad idea."-Yael.
"Then who is the girl?"-Yasmin. King Ulysses speaks.
"He and Chenqian will get married tomorrow under the moonlight."-king Ulysses. We are all surprised or should I say—I am mostly surprised! Did he say…
"Me?"-I pointed myself. He nodded. Marko hold my hand and look at them. Oh my goodness!
NATHAN JACQUES POV
Some of us is a bit surprised even if we knew that something is special with these pair. Not bad at all.
"Ehh? Getting married, huh?"-Cynthia. She is wearing a teasing smile. What a naughty girl.
"Then we will surely be busy tomorrow."-Clara.
"I will be making her wedding dress."-Miranda.
"I will be helping Clara in preparing the food. This is going to be fun!"-Yasmin said. Cynthia speak.
"No. You and Yael will also have a ceremony tomorrow."-Cynthia said. They look surprised.
"Cynthia is right. You and Yael will join the wedding ceremony tomorrow. It will be double wedding ceremony."-Ulysses. Everyone agreed.
"If that s the case, you two will be investigating in Magus and Dawn at the same time?"-king Evan. They both nodded and they became serious.
"That s our plan. We will try to investigate where that damn laboratory is. We better save the lives of the beings they uses as experiment pigs."-Cynthia. "But on the other hand, we should congratulate the couples that will get married tomorrow."-Ulysses. We clap our hands. On the other hand, why…not?
"Rachel and I will join to."-I said. She look at me.
"What are you talking about, king Nathan?"
"Okay then! It will be triple wedding! That would be fun!"-Cynthia. Rachel blushes and just sigh.
"Don t envy me just because I am under the influence of that faithful spell. You can marry the love of your life. Cynthia will make the cure anyway. I don t need your pity, king Nathan."-she said.
"Why, Rachel? Is it a bad idea?"-queen Alexa.
"I think you two will be a unique couple."-king Evan.
"I just fell like…never mind."-she mumbled.
"I am serious about it, Rachel. After all, I cross the line and I wanted to marry you."-I said.
"You heard him, Rachel. Why don t you give the Casanova king a chance?"-Yael. I sighed.
"You don t have to emphasize the truth Yael. You are ruining the plan."-I said. They chuckled.
"Oh, before I forgot. You guys made love right?"
"No! I mean that s sex."-Rachel. I get mad.
"Sex? Is that how you see that, Rachel?"
"Yes. It is! That s the truth right?"-she said.
"No, it wasn t just sex!"-I shouted. We both stood up from our seat. We face each other.
"Don t lie to me. I told you, we don t have to do that marriage thing."-she repeated. My goodness!
"To you, what is that? Just a sex?"-I ask.
"No, its not!"-we both said. Their mouth agape.
"Actually, I need to confess something."-Cynthia. Huh? What is she talking about? Confession of?
