Chapter 74: Obsession and love

ULYSSES ALEXANDERS POV
I admit that my body is like twisting inside while heat is very uncontrollable. I feel like my body are being shattered by a flame. The door closes.
"I'm sorry. I fell in her trap again."-I said. All of a sudden, I spit some blood. She started unbuttoning my clothes and she snaps her finger. We are now lying on the bed and she intertwined our fingers.
"It's not your fault. Estella is too lonely that her love became an obsession. I understand that. Trust me, I won't let you leave me."-she said. When she kissed me, I know that her love is pure and selfless. Even if I'm in pain, I made sure that I will be the alpha of our lovemaking. We both moan loudly when we reach that sweetest moment of lovemaking.
"I love you."-I said. She smiled.
"I know. I love you more, domineering alpha."
I turn her around and start moving again. She blushes and look at me with her cutest reaction.
"Not again."-I said. I laugh.
"Why, you don't want it?"-I ask. She pouted.
"Did I say that I didn't? What an idiot alpha."
I chuckled as I claimed her lips and didn't control myself from making her mine until I'm satisfied. I smiled when I saw her sleeping soundly.
"I can't believe that you still choose to love me after all the things I do in Dawn castle and in mythical mountains. But I am happy that you are here beside me, Cynthia. I love you."-I mumbled and kiss her forehead. She just moan and embrace me tighter. I can smell Ashley's scent but I'll just talk to her tomorrow. I better go to bed myself.
"Good morning."-I said. She yawned.
"Don't tell me your staring at me for a couple of minutes already?"-she ask. I nod. She blushes.
"What? My goodness. What are you, insane?"
"Maybe. Insanely in love with you."
"Pufft. What kind of line is that. We better get up to bed. I can tell that we already miss the breakfast."
When I saw her naked body as she put her clothes on, I can't stop being mesmerized by her beauty.
"When I look at you, I have this thought that I don't deserve you. After all the things I've done when we meet in Dawn and our journey in mythical mountains."-I said. She smiled and kiss me.
"When my power awakens, I notice a different aura on you that's why even if I knew that you wish me to die because I didn't reject you, I have a confidence that you are good person. I was right. Definitely. So I will never regret meeting you."-she said.
"I know. Thank you."-I said and embrace her.
When we went down the garden, everyone is also like us. They're all yawning and just gotten off the bed. Miranda and Clara is preparing our breakfast.
"My goodness, I can still feel my tiredness. We are supernatural beings but maybe mental tiredness is making our body weary as well."-Marko.
"I wanted to go back to bed."-Rita.
"Me too. After what Estella did, I wanted to gain back my strength."-Chenqian. Two humans come out and it was Ashley and an old woman.
"Your highness!"-she said and hug Cynthia.
"She keeps on asking if you are okay and why you didn't came back in the room."-Ashley.
"Something happens. But I am okay, so don't worry, okay? What is your name again?"-she ask.
"I am Norinda, queen Cendrea. Just call me Nori. Did that queen came? Did she hurt you? Where did she hurt you?"-she said and starts inspecting her body and hands. I look at her. She smiled.
"We'll explain later while we're eating. Alright everyone, let's all dig in. Nori, can you take a seat and we will all eat."-she said to her. She nod.
"Sit beside me okay? I will protect you to that evil witch. She won't hurt you while I'm here queen Cendrea."-she said. She just smile and she sat between me and that old woman. As I can tell, this old lady is harmless and she is currently under insanity. But something is wrong with that.
"I think she is under a spell that's why she is force to lose her insanity."-I said. She look at me.
"I also notice that."-she said.
"Who is she by the way?"-Yael. Ashley speaks.
"Cynthia ask me to investigate queen Brenda—"
"She is not the queen! Sshh, she is not."-Nori.
"Of course, she's not. I understand. She is the one who help her when she arrive in Dawn. She said she starts noticing the weird actions of Brenda and she even talk to her daughter about their plan in killing Cendrea and making her daughter suffer."
"Yes, sshh, be careful. They might hear us."
"It's okay, this place is safe, Nori."-Ashley.
"Wait, that woman is a what?"-Pricilla.
"She's a witch."-Cynthia. Chenqian choke herself.
"Great. That's why my senses can tell that she different. But she smells like human."-Yasmin.
"It's Vera's fault. She is a witch that one of Cendrea's apprentices. She traitor's our master and became loyal to Brenda and Gabrielle. She must have cast a spell to hide Brenda's true identity."
"Vera...I even forgot about her."-she said. But her expression is sad and bitter at the same time.
"Let me handle that traitor."-Clara.
YASMIN EDROS POV
I look at her and held her hand. I saw that, that glimpse of hatred and darkness in her eyes.
"Cynthia, look at me. You are okay, aren't you?"
"Yes, I am, why?"-she ask. I caress her hair.
"Good. That's what I wanted to hear but I saw it myself. I hope you are not letting yourself to be devoured by darkness. We are here. You already saw how reliable we are, right?"-I ask.
"Yasmin, I am trying control this. As much as I could and I always think of the bright days I have with all of you. But when bad things happen that side of me suddenly come out and wants to break free."
"Don't hold it back instead tried to control it, manipulate that anger and use it for goodness. That is the only way that you can freed yourself from the darkness that wanted to control you. This is your body and its your rules. Then, Cynthia, do you want to lose us? I know you didn't aren't you?"
"Yes."-she said. I smiled and embrace her.
"Then that's enough. I knew you can do it. No matter what happens when you are losing yourself, we will pull you up and we will never let you go."
"Thanks Yasmin. That means a lot to me. I promise."
"Okay then, we will go ahead. Call me and I'll be here in a snap."-she said. I nodded and smile.
I knew I made her worry and everyone else. I can tell they are watching me after the last time that I died and get reborn. I knew myself that I am losing my control on some instances but I won't stop and let my darkness control me. Never.
"What did she said to you?"-Yael.
"Random things? But its about my...you know it."
"Just like what I thought. I knew she notice that either. Cynthia, I know that we are facing much greater problem as time goes by. Hang in there, rely with your family. We can protect you either."
"I know. I know. Don't worry, I will. Thank you for helping Ulysses, Yael."-I said.
"No problem. We have to go. We'll see you again tomorrow."-he said. I nodded. I wave at them and they disappeared right in front of us.
"Cynthia, can we talk privately?"-Ashley.
"Uhm. No problem, let's go to my favorite tree house in this place."-I said. I teleported us and she sat down as she watch the bird flying in front of us.
"What are your plans now?"
"I will investigate if she is the one who wanted to control the flow of time."-I said. She sighed.
"Things are more mixed up now. I am worried to George. He is in the capital right now."
"Don't worry, he will be protected. I promise."
GEORGE QUINN POV
I have to meet this people. I need to think of a reason to convince the king and queen. I am walking back and forth when Cynthia suddenly appear in front of me. I almost grab her neck to choke because of surprised.
"I almost hurt you. You appeared all of a sudden. Is there any problem?"-I ask. Her eyes turn pink.
"I came to cast a protection spell on you and to make Brenda believe whatever she heard on you. I know she'll try to read your mind and this spell will give her false thoughts. Just like what I suspected, Brenda is a witch."-she said. My jaw tightened.
"A witch? Now that explains why Gabrielle made me drink a love potion. Thank you for protecting me. Also, no one notice about this ring."-I said.
"I have a hunch that Brenda might be the one who wanted to control the flow of time. I hope you will do this George even if it's hard. I want you to investigate about Vera and Brenda. I hope I am wrong but I have this strong feeling that they are what I am looking for."-she said. I smiled.
"Don't worry. Leave it to me. I have to tell you this, there is three officials of the court who stays loyal to your mother. They are Duke Alarcon, Marquis Klorr, and Vaughn. I am planning to visit the duke and who knows? They'll be in our ally."-I said.
"If that's the case. I will also visit them after you. Here, Ashley wants me to give this to you. After you read that, it will be burn by itself. We have to make sure that they won't know that you freed yourself from their claws."-she said. I took the letter.
"Thank you, Cynthia."-I said.
"Let's see each other again, master."-she said. That made me laugh and she left me after that. I open the letter and read it. I smiled and she made me feel energized and motivated. The letter turns to ashes. I decided to speak while everyone is eating.
"Royal mother, royal father, I hope you'll give me permission. I wish to talk to the three officials that keeps on opposing us."-I said. They look at me.
"George, why did you suddenly want that?"
"I don't us to have more problems if they keep on opposing us. Remember that Cynthia is no longer in our control, what if she'll use them?"-I said. They stop eating. I knew I'll convince them.
I have convince them and now I am on the receiving hall of marquis Klorr. He enters the room.
"The royal family is an eager cowards."-he said.
"Nice meeting you, marquis Klorr. But I am not here for the royal family. But for princess Cynthia."
"Ohh? How can I believe you, crown prince?"
