Chapter 108: Gabrielle's awakening

LYSSES ALEXANDERS P.O.V
"Bring my husband baacckkk!"-she shouted. She surrounded us with flames and my barrier automatically cover us. She really wanted to protect me because the barrier is much stronger than before. Nathan sigh and shows disappointment.
"Good thing they're not blood sisters. This one is a total freak! What a waste of beauty."-he said.
"Do you want me to say that to Rachel?"
"Oh c'mon. I am your friend here."-he said.
"She's my wife's sister."-I said. He laugh.
"What a stingy king of wolves."-he said. I laugh.
"They always say that."-I said. I decided to unleash one of my seals. Yes, I am not just an ordinary wolf, if I only got the chance to use one of these.
"Wait, is that...you have those?"-he ask.
"Yes, since my coronation ceremony. They suddenly appear in my body whenever I wanted them to be released."-I said. His face became blank.
"Then why you didn't use that on that time?"
"I forgot about it and didn't get the chance."
"Idiot!"-he shouted as his eyes turns red.
"Shut up! Give me back my husband or I'll destroy that castle!"-she said. She look at the castle.
"You mean George? Nah, that's impossible. He is not your husband. You're papers are just fake."
"What did you just say?!"-she ask. I shrug my shoulder and smirk. Let's add more salt.
"Oh, you didn't know? It wasn't you who was registered as George wife. It's Ashley, good thing that Cynthia think of that idea. Now that I saw how insane you are, she's better off to be his wife."
"Cyn...thia! You asshole, come out here! I will kill you!"-she shouted. The castle's ground floor destroyed and then she creates boulders to destroyed the whole castle. I sigh and we both sit down and watch her. The flame run off maybe because she focused her power on destroying the castle. She look on us when she saw that no one is running off the castle. I shrug my shoulders.
"I don't know. Maybe they're off for a vacation? How about you king of vampires, you know where they are?"-I ask. He shrug his shoulder too.
"I don't know, maybe somewhere off the hook? On the beach maybe? Nah, somewhere beyond your reach."-he said. She looks more furious.
"I said, bring him to me!"-she shouted and attack us. But Nathan raise his hand and stops the boulders she"s throwing on us. I stood up.
"You can use levitation?"-I ask. He frown.
"I'm a vampire silly."-he said. My eyebrow arch.
"So proud, huh? Throw it back."-I said. He turn them into stick and attack her. But just like what we expect, she uses barrier to protect herself.
Its time to use this one. My eyes turns yellow and I look straight to her eyes. I can here her organs. I cross my index finger and middle finger.
"Twist."-I said. She screams and cough with blood.
"What did you do to me!"-she said.
"Kneel."-Nathan said. She kneel down and I raise her chin and made her heart stop beating. Her eyes became lifeless. She falls down the ground. Nathan burns a talisman and throw it at her.
"Is she going to die?"-he ask. She disappears as the talisman turns ashes. I shook my head.
"Nope. She will wake up in three, two, one."
When I snap my finger, I know her heart starts beating again. We look at the castle that is already destroyed. He gave me that glance.
"Your wife will surely scold us."-he said.
"They can turn it back in snap of fingers. We'll be fine. Maybe we can sleep in your castle for the meantime?"-I suggested. He sigh.
"Let's just stay in that shed. It's just for a single night. We don't even have to sleep."-he said.
"Oh, I forgot that vampire lives in darkness."
"Look who's talking."-I said. We end up laughing.
"Why don't we start with your investigation with that pack?"-he said. I almost forgot about that one.
"Speaking of the devil, let's go. This letter is being send to me and it has coordinates."-I said.
When we reach the place, its a temperate forest at the northeast of Skyfall. We just continue to walk when arrows attacks us. I use the vines to catch the arrows. We can feel pair of eyes on the trees.
"What are they, rogues?"-he ask. I shrug my shoulder and then their alpha suddenly appears.
"It's been a long time, king of the wolves."
"Hmm? Who the hell are...you?"-I ask and pointed him. I haven't saw him anywhere in this kingdom.
"Maybe they're from Southeast region?"-he said.
"Nope. We are part of this kingdom since we're born. I still remember how my best friend became the king of this place. Before Cage and that West plot their death."-he said. His eyes is full of rage.
"Who really are you? Speak yourself."-I ask.
"I am the alpha of Florence pack and now the alpha of this rogue wolves. Ashim Florence."-he said.
"Ashim? How come that you are not transferred to Northwest region?"-I ask. He smiled.
"We have been chasing that damn"s pack and give my wife what he deserves after she traitors us. We are also surprised when everyone isn"t here."-he said.
CENDREA MAXIMILLIAN P.O.V
I saw her sitting on that bench while reading the grimoire. I went to her and sat beside her. Everyone had been busy giving their best with their training.
"Have you figured out what you should do, hmm?"
"I have been reading this book for a while and analyze what should I do to make sure that the magic won't hurt me instead."-she said.
"You have been restless these past months. I know your worried about him but your trying your best to concentrate. Why don"t you contact him them?"
"I wanted to but I promise him hat I will be fine here. I need to trust him and show him that I believe in him, mother."-she said. She has a point.
"Then you don't have to be bothered that much honey. Just trust him, okay?"-I said.
"I just feel like something might happen again, what if it did, mother?"-she said. I hug her.
"Nathan is with him. That vampire is strong himself. You haven"t felt any burn from his mark, right? That means nothing bad happens to him. Just think of that way, Cynthia."-I said. She suddenly touch her chest and smile after. She must have realize that.
"That's right, I didn't feel anything yet. I really hope he is okay. Thank you mother, I'm sorry if you saw me like this."-she said. I smiled and caress her shoulder to show her that I am here for her.
"Of course my daughter. This mother of yours are trying to be the mother you deserve."-I said.
"I am happy that I can finally touch you like this. But I have to go back to work. Let's talk again later on, mother."-she said. But suddenly we heart a shout.
"Agh! It hurts!"-Ashley. She is about to gave birth.
"We're on it, you can just continue your work."
"No mother. I wanted to witness it."-she said. We went there and aunt Bella and mother starts to help her in delivering her baby. Mother opens a bottle.
"Drink this to numb your mind to you brain."
"Here honey, I can't believe this can be painful."
"It is! I b-better be stab by an e-enemy than to feel this p-pain...aggghhhh!"-she screams again.
"Take a deep breath and just follow whatever we say, okay?"-mother. She nod and do what they said.
"One, two, three, push!"-I said.
"Hmp, aahhh!"-she shouted. In a couple of minutes, a new born baby cried in this place. Cynthia smiled.
"It brings back memories."-she said. I know she struggles giving birth after she did that alone here.
"It's a baby boy, George, Ashley."-I said. They smiled. Everyone clap their hands in happiness.
"Congratulations!"-we said. After we clean her up and the baby, we leave them in their house here.
CYNTHIA MAXIMILLIANP.O.V
Days, weeks, months and years had past and I keep on trying to master the spell that I needed for controlling the time. I didn't feel any pain from his mark and that gives assurance. It means he's safe. I turn around in my bed and can"t stop thinking about him. Then I heard something from the back of my head. I smiled when I knew it was him.
"Hi, how's your day? "
"I am okay. How about you? Is everything okay in Skyfall? I am quiet worried actually."
"Nope. The castle is destroyed and I am currently waiting for the Florence alpha. He didn't die."
"His alive? Wait, what happened to our home?"
"Uhm, I like what you said. Home. I'm sorry if our home is destroyed because of me. Your...I mean Gabrielle came and her power as a half witch had awaken. She wanted to retrieve her belonging. I mean George her so-called husband. I also tell her what you did about their papers of marriage."
"I see, so Gabrielle know the truth about her mother and her being a half-witch. That's good, at least she knows the truth. Good thing George and Ashley is here. Uhm! Before I forgot, she gave birth three years ago. Their son is now a talkative and a cute kid. Marko and Chenqian's child celebrates its first birthday last month. Wendy on the other hand, she"s now turning into a bigger tiger-human."-I said.
"That's good. How about the others?"-he ask.
"As of this moment, most of them are pregnant. Pricilla is 9, Yasmin is 8 months, Rita is 6, Alexa and Rachel is 4 and our daughter-in-law, we found out she's 2 months pregnant yesterday. Our son is really happy to know that his child will be born before the war. We only have 3 years here. I"ll be seeing you in few hours in the real world."-I said. He chuckle.
"I know. I really miss you already. I have to go, the sun is up and Mr. Florence is now here. I love you."
"Okay, just tell me when something is wrong. I love you more. See you soon."-I said. I didn't hear his reply which mean he stop communicating with me.
Morning had come and I saw how everyone shows great improvement. I have to be strong also. I can't let our enemy ruined these family that I found.
"Auntie!"-Gerald. I smiled and carry him up.
"My goodness, Gerald. Your bothering you aunt again. I'm sorry Cynthia. I thought he is just sitting there eating his sweets but when I turn around he"s not there anymore."-Ashley. I just smile.
"It's okay."-I said. Rachel suddenly stood beside me.
"I hope you didn't tell anything."-she said. We sigh.
"Why did you want to hide the truth, Rachel?"-I ask.
