Chapter 21 Slaying council

SLAYING COUNCIL LEADER'S P.O.V
"Did you already investigate about what happen in gem village?" I asked. That village. It was destroyed completely along with our slayers.
"Leader, we trace nothing on that place. But one thing is for sure, a strong witch had made that. He or she had killed our men and destroy the whole village." he said. I gritted my teeth.
"Make sure to know who did that! If you have to go in Western region where witches live, then do!"
"Understood leader. We are worried about the result of what happened in that village. Their king will surely come to us and investigate himself."
"Are you afraid now?" I said and gave him a death glare. He stepped back and bowed his head.
"No, Leader! I'm sorry for my words." he said.
"Don't kill your dog. He just telling the truth."
"You." I said. He smiled but eyes turned red.
"And you thought I will stay silent for what you did in my kingdom?" he said. Everyone pointed their guns and arrows that are made of silver.
"You and this council will never have its peace. You are more evil than we are. We have been silent for years but your council keeps on creating problems in different kingdoms. You must have thought I am clueless with the things that this group have done?"
"Kill him!" I said and they shoot him. A barrier protected him and the bullets and arrows are floating and he threw them around the area.
"The next time that you will attack any of the villages from my kingdom. Ready for the real punishment I will bring. It's been a century since the last time I drink human bloods. I am interested how nasty this council's blood taste like. I am warning you. You will literally fall down before you even know." he said and disappeared in the air.
"Damn! I will let you see who will win between the two of us, blood sucking monster." I mumbled. The whole room has holes because of what he have done. My jaw tightens.
"Council leader, we have a visitor from the leader of the faction in that kingdom." he said.
"Let him in. I need to talk to him. We have to alert everyone and make sure that we will win over those beast. They have to vanished because they don't belong in this world." I said. He left and later on he came back with that visitor that he told about.
"It's been a while. You suddenly decided to visit the main branch? There must be a serious reason."
"Yes. We have to talk about the threat that just happens in my place." he said. He looks serious.
CYNTHIA MAXIMILLIAN P.O.V
I opened my eyes and looked around. This must be the house of that pack who took me. I arose from the bed and hug my knee. I feel dizzy and...hungry! I smell some food being cooked. I went off the bed and went to their kitchen. They looked at me and smiled.
"Finally awoken, princess." she said.
"I made grape juice. Come and dinner will be serve now. You slept too much actually." he said.
"Anyway, this is my pack. We are only four. I'm the Alpha, Yael Yurin. She is Yasmin Edros, that is her younger brother Ildrich Edros. Lastly, the one who watch over you, her name is Rita June."
"Hi, princess!" they said and even salute. I smiled.
"Hi. Cynthia Maximillian is my name." I said.
"Sit up. I made you something to eat. I just hope you will like the taste." Yasmin. I smiled.
"I actually arose from bed after smelling your food. I will surely enjoy that." I said and sat. They placed the food on the table and looked on each other.
"Thank you for the food!" they said.
"Thank you for the food." I said after. They put some food on the plate. I smiled and ate the meat.
"Uhm! It's super delicious! Master!" I said.
"Ehh? Master? Me? For what reason?" Yasmin.
"The meat is mouthwatering, it taste like heaven! Teach me how to cook like this. I want to cook for the kids." I said and taste the soup.
"Well, thank...you?" she said.
"I will come over from time to time. I mean the food is superb. Cook for me whenever I visit okay?"
"No problem." she said.
"You still choose to go back in the castle?" Rita.
"Yes. My family is there." I said.
"We can bring them here. It's better for you to live here along with us, princess." Yael. I sighed.
"I know what you mean. But I promise that I will you guys and every clans as much as I can. I have his mark remember?" I said.
"You only need to reject him and the spell to take that mark will easily be erased. That is the rule in our kinds." Yael. I eat some vegetables before I answer.
"That's what she said and that king Nathan. I don't know if I should do that. I already lose my virginity to him in exchange of getting his help in escaping from Dawn castle. I feel like I have no choice but to dance his attitude until the day I die." I said.
"Until the day you die?" Ildrich.
"I don't want to be remembered as an evil witch. It's better to die and be remembered with the kindness that I have done than the evil things I did. We all know that a single mistake will destroy your goodness."
"That's true. We know what if feels to be seen differently for a single mistake I made." Rita.
"Exactly." I said. What I saw on them is they're contented on this simple life and they seems to enjoy the peace they have.
"Thanks." I said and smiled on them.
"Huhh?" they said and looked at me. After that dinner, I said I will go back in the room they lend for me. Maybe I'll stay for a little longer. Then morning came, I don't see them around but there is a food on the dining table. There is a note.
"Eat well. We will go to the farm field. We will be back later. Oh? They have farm field here?" I said. I eat the food and enjoy how delicious it is. I decided to follow them. I teleported myself on where they are using a strand of hair that I saw on the kitchen.
"What are you doing here?" Yasmin. They are holding pickaxes, hoe and rakes. They have quiet an hectares of farm. There are even cows, horses, chickens, pigs and even sheep.
"I can help clean the leaves and even trim the grasses. I have a green thumb actually." I said.
"Are you sure?" Ildrich. I created a hoe and use my power to put the leaves and grasses together. I snap my finger and it started to burn.
"Burning the field will help the soil to be in great shape again." I said. They smiled.
"No problem with us. We can use the cows to plow the field and we can start planting the seeds."
"Are we going to plant vegetables only?" I asked. Ildrich and Yael started to plow the first field. The three of us started to plant on the field that they finished to plow. They nodded.
"Did you saw those trees? They're fruit bearing trees. We plan vegetables here to be sold on the different markets for supplies." Yasmin.
"I see. If I am not mistaken, this field might be around a 100 hectares?" I said. Rita nodded.
"This is being inherited by Yael and these two siblings. I am just a passerby that they invited to be a part of their pack. I became a werewolf after being raped by men and they threw me in the woods. I thought I am going to die but a wolf suddenly turn me into werewolf after I beg him to save me."
"I see. Did you remember his face?"
"Yes. But after looking for him, I learn that he is being slayed by a beast slaying team." Rita.
"I suddenly remember that group that I killed in gem village. They're killing even innocent ones because we are all being generalize as evils." I said. I made a hole and put some seeds on it.
"That's true. Our existence is a threat to humanity."
RITA JUNE P.O.V
She knew how to use a hoe. She must not be joking when she said that she has green thumb. She is a good person herself.
"Yasmin, you don't have to water the plants. I will make it rain later on." she said.
"Okay, better idea. Plants love rainfall anyway. Thanks, princess." Yasmin. I knew Yasmin has been in love to our alpha but she is not like that Estella girl. My expression changes when I remember that girl. They look at me with a puzzled expression.
"What's wrong Rita?" Cynthia.
"Nothing. I just remember Estella. Good thing that duchess Pricilla can control her guts. Among the people in the court, duchess Pricilla has been the short tempered yet reasonable woman. I like her actually." I said. They both smiled.
"She is the reason why the king can be able to make decisions that is reasonable and not bias."
"Can I ask some questions? This is about Yael and Ulysses." Cynthia. We smiled and give her a go sign.
"Just ask away." Yasmin.
"I already saw that they are arrogant to each other but they didn't harbor any hatred to one another. Why is that?" she said and put seeds on the soil. I open and close my eyes. There are so many hoe's in every line creating a hole. She must have done this.
"They were best friends. But because of Estella, their relationship started to have a gap." Yasmin.
"Oh...but what is the reason?" she asked.
"Estella is quiet a cunning lady. His majesty didn't believe him after Yael said that Estella approached him for a certain reason. Yael once saw Estella talking to someone at a river. Estella denied that and even claimed that Yael must have liked her and wanted to drew them apart. That happens 5 years ago."
"I see... that's bad news but I know one day they will understand each other again." she said.
"I hope so. I saw how they took care of each other and we are all sad about how they grew apart."
"Estella is indeed a bad news for me. I also feel that something is off to her but I can't tell what it is."
"Well, we all hope that his majesty will soon wake up. He is a good king and the Northwest region became a prosperous place because of him."
"Yes, he is a good man but somehow it's not easy to read him! He is much more complicated than women!"
"Exactly." I said. We all fell the danger coming to us. The hoe's disappear and a strong barrier is being created. A group of men appeared.
"Damn, slayers." Ildrich. They came to us.
"You really have pink eyes. You better come with us!"
