Chapter 30 A woman from Dusk kingdom

ULYSSES ALEXANDERS POV
After hearing a woman shouting in the garden in front of the castle, everyone comes out. Is that a human? What was this human's purpose in the Skyfall castle? When I look at her, I recognize that she is a total mess.
"Who are you? What are you doing here?"-Marko.
"I'm a mother from the Dusk Kingdom's village. Our village is located at the east of the Kingdom of Skyfall. Our village and Skyfall's village are separated by two mountains and the distance is two kilometers. I've come to—"
Vincent caught her when she fell down. Clara examined her and ordered her to float. We placed her in one of the ground-floor rooms.
"She must have survived by eating fruits and vegetables because she is very tired. She's a regular person. She traveled for three days straight until she arrived at this location, according to what I can tell."-she said. She puts her hand on her chest and remains silent.
"A slayer and a witch are attacking their village. They are from the Southeast region. Another attack from the supernatural beings under the slaying council's control."
"Gruesome. Is there a way to increase clan awareness and battles in this way? What are they actually trying to attain?"
"Chenqian, I need you to investigate there. You should bring a soldier with you. After an hour, come back."-I explained. She walked away with a nod.
"Why does it have to be her? Ulysses, I am the royal army's knight commanding officer."
"However, Chenqian has seemed to be distressed, and I actually think this will keep her occupied. I'm your alpha, and I can tell when one of my members is in distress."-I explained.
"Of course she is truly worried. Chenqian is our baby among the ten of us." -says Pricilla. I sighed, she would have to know something. We left Clara even though she and said that she would appear after that woman. Pricilla is frustrated.
"I'd like to ask you a favor, Yasmin. This is a job for you; if possible, bring Yael with you."-Pricilla.
"What is it, duchess?"-she asked questions.
"Gather more information into the marriage of George Quinn and Gabrielle Humphries,"-she said.
"You mean you want us to go in Dawn kingdom?"
"Uhm. You haven't managed to meet that guy among the people here. You also spend the majority of your time in this area. The people there will almost certainly not suspect the two of you."-Pricilla. Yasmin nods and sighs.
"There is really no problem. I'll check with Yael. If we arrive in Dawn kingdom within the next three days, I will send you a letter."-she stated. Yasmin walked out the door as she smiled at her. Estella arrived after 5 minutes and asked for details about the woman from the Dusk kingdom. Pricilla chose to respond.
"Then report that to the treaty council alliance!"
"Are you an idiot? We also had no idea who our enemies have become anymore! They're all vying for Cynthia's power. She is the biological daughter of the most powerful witch ever lived. They anticipate that she will pose a threat. She will either completely remove the evildoers in the four clans or end the curses in three other clans. We must protect her."-Pricilla. Vincent expresses himself.
"We already have formidable foes. The witch clan's leader, as well as her daughter. We will undoubtedly be an enemy of the Western region, the Dawn kingdom, the Southeast region, and who knows what else. We might have an adversary in the East. Your Majesty, we must strengthen our borders as well as our army."-he stated. Pricilla gave a shaky nod.
"Again, are we heading to a great war?"-she said.
"And it's all because of that woman!? Hand her over to the witch clan's leader. You know witches are powerful because they signed a contract with the devils. Wolves and vampires are merely pawns in their trial and error experiments. We cannot afford to lose the West Region! Listen to me, Ulysses! Estella, just relax okay?"-I said and hug her.
"Let go or I'll throw you both here in this window! These possibilities are giving me more headaches than you two! Urgh! You are driving me crazy."-she said. I let her go and Marko cut it off.
"For the time being, let us concentrate on strengthening the kingdom's security and military capabilities. Especially those who patrol the borders."-he stated.
"Then go about your business. Give me the details on the Western region's capability, as well as the papers on the members of the Slaying Council. I'd like to have them at my table by tomorrow. You, too! Estella, stop acting like a puppy in front of that coward. Take action! Do your laundry or just stay at home. That will be preferable."-she said and left with a long face. Estella made me look at her while pouting.
"Pricilla has a habit of picking on me! Since the beginning, and now that Cynthia has arrived, she has become even more enraged at me. We have all of these problems because of that woman! Do something, Ulysses."-she stated. I took a deep breath and smiled at her. I pinched her cheeks and found her sentiments endearing rather than irritating.
"Miss Estella, you are free to leave. His Majesty will be very busy during these days. Is it okay if he just pays you a visit at your house?"-Vincent. She grinned.
"Okay. Visit me, hmm?"-she stated. I gave a nod.
"Of course, Estella"-I stated. She smiled and then walked away from us.
"Phew. It's a good thing she left."-Marko said, sighing.
(Author's POV: no one notices how Ulysses' eyes light up when he meets Estella's eyes. Hmm…?)
CYNTHIA MAXIMILLIAN POV
When I open my eyes. It's already dark outside. I slowly arose from my bed and hug my knee. I finally wake up, again. I have been struggling controlling this power and losing myself as well. All of my sort is either passed out because of exhaustion or even cast myself in sleeping curses. Will I stay like this forever? Acting strong then runaway? 'I have been coward these past weeks. I shouldn't be. I should go and visit villages in every region. Helping. Not this sulking. Grow up Cynthia!' I decided to go downstairs. I am dead hungry. The lights are off but I can see my way. I lifted the pots here and saw leftovers. I took some of it and water. I sat on the middle of the island table when the light went on.
"Cy-Cynthia?!"-Pricilla. Vincent and Ulysses is with her. I continued munching the food in my mouth and just stare on them. She smiled and hug me.
"Oh my! You awoke sleeping princess?"-Pricilla.
"And she's happily eating like a sneak rat."-he said. I pointed at him using the spoon.
"Hey! I am—I mean I have a good sight. I'm hungry and tired! Also, I am forced to wake up."-I said and pouted. I suddenly remember my mother.
"I think we should prepare something for you to eat. Or maybe you can go to Yael's house and Yasmin will surely cook for you."-Pricilla said. I smiled.
"Uhm! I remember how delicious Yasmin's food is. But—I can't use my power as of this moment. I don't know why but I suddenly became a powerless witch. As if something is sealing my power. Just like that."
"Say what?"-he said. Pricilla stops him from walking towards me and he looks at her deathly. I eat and speak while munching. I have Pricilla anyway.
"I don't know. Maybe it's Glaiza or that Gladys's girl who cause this. Maybe it was just me! I think because I have been using my power too much therefor I long for my former self which is just human. Nonetheless, I don't have any idea."-I said.
"Never mind that, we are here. I am here. If that idiot won't protect you then I am here, Cynthia."
"Thanks Pricilla. You are very considerate and kind."
I kissed her in cheeks and continue eating. She laughed and brushed my hair. Mother is right, I have people who will always be there for me.
"Just eat and tomorrow we will talk to you. Vincent, bring a brandy and glasses in the office."
"Understood, your majesty."-Vincent. I can tell that he is mad. I will be asking aunt Clara and aunt Miranda about this as well. I am also worried why I suddenly lose my power as a witch. Did I also do this myself or what if someone sealed my magic?
MARKO RANDAL POV
She haven't gone back yet. It's been two days. The door suddenly opens. It's Pricilla and Cynthia. His majesty and Vincent visits the camp and make the military see him. For the moral of the army.
"Tell me, is it true that Song Chenqian is sent to that village? The woman from that Dusk kingdom is awake. If Dallas didn't slip his tongue I won't be able to learn this. I even have to slice Pricilla off for her to tell me about this."-she said. She's upset.
"As if you can do something about it. Ulysses told me that you lost your power."-Estella suddenly came. For some reason this girl is like a ghost. She suddenly appear in every corner. Just like a stalker.
"Shut up. I am not talking to you! And why are you meddling anyway? Mind your own business, okay? Just answer me!"-she said. I rather spoke.
"Yes. I am also worried about her. I am about to propose that I'll bring some of my elite men to follow her in that place."-I said. She suddenly punch the wall. Her fist bleeds. She is scary. Totally!
"Damn! She better not be behind this or father or that damn human. I will kill them."-she said and turn her back to us. Pricilla stops her by holding her shoulder. She looks back and her eyes is blazing in wrath. I even felt chill in my bones. I never saw that kind of anger in my life. Not even when Yael and Ulysses fought seven years ago. She is like an evil.
"Calm down! That won't help us."-Pricilla said. Her eyes changes and she suddenly sat down and cried like a baby. Wow, what a transition. Unbelievable.
"These troubles are because of me. I hate to admit it but it was all true. Maybe if I didn't born anyway, I might not cause this. If mother never meet father, I won't be born and…everyone will be happier. From the start my existence is a piece of chaos."-she said.
"That's not true. Your existence means a lot to us."
"Come on Pricilla, admit it. All her words are true."
"Estella! If you won't say a good one. Hold that stupid tongue inside of that damn mouth!"-Pricilla.
"Guys, we have to calm down. We need to come up a solution to know what happened to Chenqian."
"Vincent is right. Maybe I'll go there first, Ulysses."
"I'll come. I wanted to know what happened in that village. Aunt Clara told me the truth about what she retrieve in Suzy's memory. They need me, then I'll show up just like what they wanted."-she said.
"But you said that your power is sealed."-I said. She took the spare sword, arrow and bow on the table.
"I won't take no."-she said. We end up going there as a team and when we arrive? Our jaw drop down.
"What the hell had happen here?"-Pricilla mumbles.
