Chapter 58 Her way of matchmaking

CYNTHIA MAXIMILLIAN POV
They look at me. What I expected it to become really happens. I guess I can be a matchmaker if things are done. A matchmaker and a potion maker. Why not? I smiled and speak again.
"Actually, when the night that I lifted the effect of the erotic potion. I already cancel the effect of the faithful potion. I just lied because I wanted to push Nathan into his limits. I guess it works."-I said.
"What?!"-they said. They look on each other and sat down as they re both embarrassed after learning the truth. Yes, I didn t learn about those potions yet, but after I used my blood, it was like a multipurpose medicine. Kind of? I sense that the effects of the potions are cancelled at the same time.
"I haven t learned about those types of potions yet because I am concentrating on potions that is for medications. But I did cancel the effect at that time."
"Why did you fooled us?"-Nathan. I chuckled.
"Simple. I saw how worried you are and I accidentally heard your thoughts at that time. That s why I used that chance to push you a bit. Your being too sly, Nathan. I guess you have to face your own feelings and maybe you just need someone to push you so…I did."-I said. He sighed and smile later on.
"My goodness, that s a good trick, Cynthia."
"Because everyone here needed a little push. You guys love to play hide and seek."-I said.
"Tss. My goodness, you are acting like a matchmaker."-Yael. I smiled and clap my hands as I point my fingers on everyone. They blink.
"I agree. Maybe I should put that on the list that I wanted to do as a job."-I said. They burst in laughter. Ulysses flick me in my forehead. I pouted.
"You won t do any other job, missy. You are the queen of this kingdom. I am telling you that is a difficult job."-Ulysses. I smiled.
"And so? I can t create a doppelganger of me. That will stay in the store while I am doing the queen s job. Wait, did I just agreed?"-I said. They laugh even more. This time he pinch me in my right cheek.
"What a silly witch."-he said. He let go and speak again. I hope everything will be okay as soon as possible. I wanted to live my life at the fullest with him and everyone. 'Mother…I wish you are here.
"Then its settled, three wedding will be held tomorrow under the moonlight."-he said.
"You and Cynthia should have their ceremony on under the full moon next week."-Pricilla. He smiled.
"Yes. We will."-he said. I cough. They look at me.
"Now you are the one who always been surprised."
GEORGE QUINN POV
I knew that Ashley is having a deep thoughts about the things that we learned. The problems that are being hide to other people. She is still that woman that I trained years ago. I suddenly remember that.
"Mentor! This is hard! Cynthia is also struggling! How can you do this for us! You said you will protect us but your like a devil teacher!"-she said.
"You won t learn from soft trainings, Ashley. If you really wanted to learn then accept the challenges."
"Ashley, its okay. We can do this. Let s go, mentor I mean master is right. We needed to be strong right? You wanted to be a knight, remember?"-Cynthia.
"Exactly. Of your dreams are fragile then quit!"
"No! Let s go, Cynthia."-she said. She carried the 25 kilo sack of sand. I made them go up and down this hill as they carried those sack. It should be three times with a time limit of half an hour.
"If I became a part of the knight army, I will be in a position and have men myself. I will never be like him! Tss. He s super stingy."-Ashley. I laugh.
"Hey, he can still hear us. Come on, let s go."
"Ohh. Okay."-she answered.
A tap on my shoulder wakes me up from reminiscing the past. Its her. I look up to her.
"What is it, Ashley?"-I ask. She sat beside me.
"Go back in the capital. I knew the crown princess is waiting for you. Also, can you hide the things that we discovered? Don t tell her nor her parents."
"I know what your trying to say. Not a problem for me. But I don t have any plans of going back un the capital yet. I wanted to know more of the missing incidents around the villages in this kingdom."
"But how about her?"-she ask. I decided to lay down her lap and I can see her genuine expression.
"I don t care about her. I don t know why but all of a sudden, I hate seeing her like I always do."
"What? But these past days you keep on boasting her to us. Why is that?"-she ask. I just shrug my shoulder and close my eyes. Her scent is soothing.
"I don t know. Let me take a rest for a moment."
"Commander…"-she mumbled. I sat up and push her down. She look at me. She s beautiful even she s wearing her men clothes. I claimed her lips.
"I change my mind."-I said. I start caressing her. When the morning came, she is not here. But the door opens and she came in with a tray of food.
"Let s eat."-she said. I smiled. We enjoyed the food.
"Ashley, I made up my mind. Let s go together."
"Huh? To where?"-she ask. I put on the last piece of my armor. She is wearing hers after all.
"Let s talk to Cynthia. I want to talk to her."-I said.
ASHLEY BRIDGE POV
I tried to hide my jealousy but he still saw it. He lifted my chin and give me a quick kiss.
"Jealous, huh?"-he said. He us teasing me.
"No! If that s what you have in mind then, let s use this teleportation spell that she gave to me."
"You went to her?"-he said. I nodded. I put my hand on his shoulder and burn the talisman. Then the next thing we saw is the Skyfall castle.
"Ashley? George?"-aunt Clara. We both smile. We ran to her and hug her. She laughs.
"Long time no see you two."-she said.
"We meet just a few months ago."-we both said.
"I mean like this. I knew you are here for Cynthia."
"I can smell a familiar scent."-Pricilla. They come out from the windows one by one. She smiled.
"Yo!"-she said and even salute. We smiled.
"Cynthia!"-I said. We ran to her and hug her.
"Wait a minute. Too tight!"-she said. We both laugh and let her go. She looks happier and blooming.
"Being a wife seems to be a good idea for you."
"Kind of. But…this is the first time that you two came together. It s bad news, isn t it?"-she said. We both sigh and nodded. She shook her head.
"Then let s talk over that in a cup of coffee."-Ulysses.
The utensils are floating. I feel like I am really in different world. They all waiting for the news.
"I knew you have an idea about the certain missing people in Dawn kingdom."-George. She nodded.
"Guys, we are here to bring—visitors?"-Rita. Ulysses signed them to seat as well. They did.
"Yes. We have an idea about the missing humans in Dawn. I guess the two of you are investigating about that, aren t you?"-Cynthia. We both nodded.
"There are some witnesses who just pass a letter on us and leave like a wind when we visit some villages. It was written that they saw those men wearing a knight seal. They are telling their families that those are going to be trained as servants nor knights. But when they visit the capital, they can t find them."
"Yes. Exactly. There are also a letter who said that most of those acts are done while the wedding celebration of commander and Gabrielle are held."
"I knew that. I went to the castle just a couple of weeks ago to visit Gabrielle. I went down the dungeon and using my power, I have retrieve memories of humans being tortured and drug on that place where I also spent countless times. "Pufft! What?! Are you sure of that?"-I ask. She nod.

ULYSSES ALEXANDERS POV
"But why did you bring George with you?"-I ask. They look confused and George look at me firmly.
"Don t get me wrong. I trust Cynthia. What I mean is…you re the crown princess s husband. What if you will tell them things that you will hear from us?"
"Rest assured that I won t."-he said. Ashley seems to be bothered and I can tell some reason.
"Okay. I knew you won t be lying. Yael speaks.
"Maybe you should learn the truth. You are under the love spell. How can we be sure that you won t say anything to your wife when she ask you."
"What?!"-they both said. Yasmin speaks next.
"Remember the day we visit and give our gifts?"
"Yes. Of course. I am also surprised that you two are their allies."-George. She continued.
"We are. When the time that you cut your finger, we smell a different fragrance from your blood."
"Yasmin search for it and we learned that the fragrance we smell is from the love potion which is forbidden to sell. Which means, a witch gave that potion to her. To control your power in the knight army at the same time to have you."-Yael.
"Damn! That s why everyone is surprised when I invited them on that wedding celebration."-he said.
"Exactly. That s why we are doubting you."-I said.
"Now that you learn about it. Cynthia can help you regarding of that matter."-Clara. He sighs.
"Can I ask something, George. Will that be okay?"

"Did you consummate your marriage to her?"
"No. We have been busy receiving people that are congratulating us and we end up sleeping tiredly. I also leave after two weeks because something comes up in the borderline."-he said. Miranda sighs in relief. Which is means, its easier to cancel than my case. That s a good news anyway.
"But I have done it with another woman. Will that affect? I.."-he said and look at Ashley. The curious expression of wife is on, again. I smiled.
"To Ashely? When? How? Tell me?"-she said.
"We are both drunk! Yes! An accident."-Ashley.
"I am not that drunk and I still remember what happen that night. I am sober. But yes, I have her in my bed on the first night after I visit them again. After my wedding to Gabrielle. I also notice that I have the same feelings with her again before the wedding day. I hate her again."-George.
"What is the meaning of that, then?"-Marko. The elders came and we stood up to greet them.
