Chapter 33 The true state of Dawn kingdom

YAEL YURIN POV
I have a look around. Everyone knows who we are. We are the vendors who provide them with meat, vegetables, and even fruits. But this is the first time we've been here since Cynthia's escape from the castle.
"Have you heard about the commander knight and crown princess's marriage?"-she ask. His husband speaks.
"Nothing will change even if they married. Did you know our tax was raised for the upcoming month?"-he said.
"We previously knew that the tax collection rate changes by 2% each year. That has been happening since the death of Queen Cendrea. Her strength also aids us in growing better harvests. The sky hasn't even had a chance to rain in the last few years."-a lady. Yasmin abruptly vanished from my side. I search around, but I can't seem to find her. I can't detect her scent. Damn, someone has kidnapped her. I walked around looking for her.
"Are you all right, my lord? Is there an issue?"
"Oh, absolutely. I'm simply taking a look around. I just lost a friend. Have you ever seen a female with black hair that is long curled on the edges? She's dressed in a beautiful green gown with lace on the neck."-I ask..
"Yes. I saw her. She seems to be following someone and they went in that direction."-she said.
"Thank you."-I said. I could smell her faint perfume as I followed the directions. She was holding her shoulder until I recognized her. I grabbed her as soon as I noticed an arrow aimed at her. She takes a glance at me. Soldiers? What is going on here? I take a moment to look at her. Except for hers, I can smell other people's blood. Then I noticed a body in the bush. It's a lady. I take a glance at her. I rip my hanky and wrap it around her shoulder. Something is going on, I believe.
"They kidnapped the girl and attempted to rape her. They murdered her because she restrained them."-she stated.
"Kill the witnesses!"-said their commander. I dashed up to them and punched them in the face. After the two of them were knocked unconscious, I grabbed the arrow and shot that man. He pulled away, but it was too late. He trips and falls. I punch him in the face, and he also knocks me down. Yasmin rushed over to check on the her.
"She is still alive. Her abdominal wound is rather deep."
I tied these foolish soldiers to their back, and she carried the girl on her back. We returned. Everyone is taken aback, and they then send us in the direction of their clinic. Her wound was examined by the doctor, and her parents arrived later. They're sobbing. Her father noticed the troops I had bound with a rope.
"Please bring these to your village court. They attempted to rape your daughter, and when she resisted, they chose to stab her in order to silence her."-I said. They nodded.
"Thank you, my lord, milady!"-they stated. We walked away. She look disturb and I know the reason. I bought a carriage for us to use in our travel to the capital.
"Get in. We better leave and visit the capital."-I said.
YASMIN EDROS POV
I examine my wound. We continued and decided to go to the capital while it was healing. I didn't say anything, but I was reminded of that moment. When an alpha from another pack in our former village was on the verge of stealing my chastity. I'll never forget how terrified I was. I was just 17 at the time. That's why Cendrea heard my voice and saved me, as well as my brother, who was knocked unconscious after attempting to save me.
"Yasmin? Is there a problem?"-he inquires.
"There is nothing, Yael. Please disregard my presence. I'm simply exhausted."
"Are you certain? It's written on your face."
"Yes. I'm certain. Please just ignore my presence."-I said. They allowed us borrow a carriage, but he paid them enough money to cover the cost of returning their carriage and horse. He is back on the road. I pull back the curtain and inhale the fragrance of the trees and leaves. As we get closer to the capital. On the street, there are still decorations. I believe this is related to Cynthia's younger sister's wedding. We get down the road.
"The crown princess position for Princess Gabrielle has been officially declared by the court. When I heard that the Northwest region's alpha king had kidnapped the first princess? I think it's better for her to be there."-a lady told a man. They seems to be happy that Cynthia escape.
"We got a new home because of our previous queen. I didn't suggest leaving since I think that things will change one day. Even if Princess Cynthia is no longer in the realm, I remain hopeful."-he said.
"Before I forgot, I agree with that hon.? Have you heard about what happened in a village in our kingdom's western lands? I heard..."-she looked around and murmured the following words. We can hear them clearly because of our superior hearing.
"That was utilized for experimentation by the king. They even paid other clans to drug and torture them. I suppose his majesty's engagement in the Southeast area is correct."-she stated. Her husband sighs..
"I heard the same thing. But don't mention that to anybody else. We might be in big trouble. Come on, let's go inside."
They entered the house. That is a fantastic tip. Now that other clans can enter the Dawn kingdom, which is guarded by a strong barrier against our kind. They must be concerned about their safety. I'm hoping I'm incorrect. However, from what I recall, the other clans held hostages by the council are either drugged, brainwashed, or controlled by them.
"All right, let's go. Why don't we go to the Dawn's castle?"-Yael. We've been known around here as merely traders. We no longer have to be concerned about being killed as a result of our concealed purpose against this kingdom.
GABRIELLE HUMPHRIES POV
Mother walks into our room unexpectedly. I stood to my feet and bowed to her. She speaks after that.
"We have a special visitor. They are the merchants who have been supplying the kingdom for over ten years. They've come with gifts for you and George after learning that you're now married."
"All right, mother. Where is George?"-I inquire.
"He's already in the hall. Just get yourself out there and go to the main hall, okay?"-she stated. I flashed a smile.
"All right, mother."-I said. Mother went off. I comb my hair, put hair decorations, and select an outfit. Then I proceeded to the receiving room. When they spotted me, they both bowed. I smiled..
"Greetings to the most beautiful princess of Dawn kingdom. My bad, I mean—the crown princess."
"Thanks you, lord Yael. It's nice to see the two of you again. It must have been 7 months?"-I said.
"Indeed, crown princess."-his accompaniment.
"And who is this beautiful woman? You always visit us with your brother Ildrich."-I ask. He smiled.
"She is very important to me, crown princess. Yasmin is her name."-he said. I flashed a smile. I took a seat next to my husband. A servant entered, pushing the trolley with the gifts. They take the 3 boxes and open them. When father saw it, he smiled.
"Isn't that lavish, Lord Yael?"-mother. They both smiled.
"Of course not, your highness. We've been doing business for a long time. Let us call this our modest present for the princess wedding."-he said.
"Well, thank you. Anyway, here is my lovely spouse. George Quinn, the royal army's knight commander. They are one of our kingdom's largest and wealthiest merchants, honey."
"I'm glad to meet you, Lord Yael and Lady Yasmin."
"It is our pleasure, Lord George."-he said. They provided jewelries composed of pearls, gold, diamonds, and rubies as a gift. The other box contains high-quality silk, while the last box contains fur jackets.
"Please join us for a little banquet. It's also our way of expressing thank you."-father. They both smiled.
"Your Majesties, we shall be delighted,"-he added. On the dining room table. They look nice together, in my opinion.
"If we had known about the wedding sooner, we would have gone to rejoice on its auspicious day. Well, you two and your other businesses are welcome to visit on the day Lord George is announced as the crown prince. That must take place within a month."-father.
"I will be grateful if Lord Yael can spare some of his time. We wish deeper relation with you guys. Agh."
He cuts his finger and begins to bleed. He makes use of a napkin. I held his hand to cheek his wound as well.
"What a magnificent scene. You two love each other."
"Well, thank you. Yes, we are."-I said, smiling at them.
VINCENT RUSSO POV
We chose to start with the Dusk castle. Ulysses has faith in me and Pricilla in this matter. We've arrived at the welcoming hall. Their young king entered. He's 23 years old, according to what I've heard. His queen enters the hall as well. But I have a feeling they aren't all that horrible. I believe so. Pricilla and I both bowed to them.
"Greetings, His Majesty and Her Highness."
"You could get up. It's a surprise that the two of you have unexpectedly visited the kingdom."
"Your Majesty, we have an important message for you that we wish to express to you personally."-I stated. They are stunned and confused. Pricilla explains herself.
"We have learned of what occurred in one of your villages in the eastern portion of your kingdom. Yes. When the knights I dispatched to that region arrived, they found nothing but wrecked, burned-down buildings. That is the most remote village from the capital. They traveled for 5 days."
"Eventually, all we can do is weep and place stones in a graveyard we made for them."
"Eventually, Your Highness, we have excellent news for the kingdom.? One of the residents makes every effort to travel to Skyfall for about 3 days. She arrives at castle and requests assistance. Our nation's treasury minister has been dispatched to inspect it. Apparently, four elderly women and men died. When she arrives, they enslave the citizens. She obtains the chance to save the others, and they are now in the kingdom."-I said. They both smile, and the queen even burst out laughing. Pricilla smiled.
"You two may come with us and we'll show you that they're still alive."-Pricilla.
"No problem. Zorra, come with us."-her highness.
They drew closer. We arrived to the castle's garden after I activated the teleportation talisman. The citizens were able to see their king and queen. They all bowed their heads.
"Greetings, king and queen!"-they exclaim.
"You may all stand up. We're relieved that everyone is safe. Even if we were to lose four of you."-your royal highness. Cynthia arrived later. The queen appears shocked to see her. Cynthia spits out the coffee she is sipping. I believe...they know each other? Is she a girl who is also being helped by Cendrea? It's a tiny world, isn't it? They rushed to each other and tightened their embraces. Pricilla smiled and turned to face me.
"I believe we've found a new ally."-she mumbles.
"Don't you think that's wonderful news?"-I ask.
"Well it is."-she said. The elders arrives they'll surely bring problems. What again this time?
