Chapter 109: Laboratory of Skyfall

The alpha of the Florence pack suddenly ask us to stay at their place for the night. Both of us didn't sleep and just watch our back. We still didn't know why they hide themselves and became a rogue wolves for the past decades. We have to be vigilant. When dawn breaks, he knocks on the house that they gave for us to sleep. He laugh when he saw us.
"You two didn't sleep isn't it while all of us are snoring the whole night."-he said. We try not to look bad or mean something. We just sigh.
"Its normal as to strangers like us who never step in a strangers lair, Mr. Florence."-I said. He laugh.
"Your adopted father had train you correctly. He told you the basic things you should do when your visiting strangers territory. Not bad for that old friend of mine."-he said. I heard to royal father that he indeed have a best friend who stays as shadows that will protect Skyfall when he's still alive. I didn"t realize that it can be the Florence alpha.
"Follow me, I want you to enter a place where your royal father keep from you for the meantime. Before the time that my pack was attack this place is being guarded by my pack. It is one of the royal"s secret to its officials."-he said. Nathan and I followed him. Both of us turns to wolf and we use our speed and he drags us in the middle of this forest. His paw touches a tree then the ground split into two. The place we're standing starts to move downward. Torches starts to light up and we walk after.
"What kind of place is this?"-I ask and we both turn back to our human form. He look around.
"This place is being build by me and your father's pack consists of the elders. They are the one who takes care of this place as they believe that Florence pack had vanished. I have been trying to kill that marquis but I choose to stay for my packs safety."
"Marquis Wiles had been killed by Ildrich because he touches his woman. That kid is strong himself and he shows his potential to be an alpha by killing a strong one. He will have his ceremony after the blue moon."-I said. We all stop when we reaches a big room. My eyes widened when I saw this facilities.
"What kind of place is this?"-Nathan ask.
"This place had been a research facility against moonacres. Yes, you heard it right. The late king and I had hunted one of the slayers and learn about Salvador"s plan. He just start being the leader for ten years and we already saw how he seeks blood in his hands. We both agreed to be vigilant on him."
"Facility for moonacres? Like what?"-I ask.
"We formed a team that will try to stop or make a potion or any type of medication to turn those moonacres as their original selves. The two of you must have saw their difference with our kinds. Yes, they can use three types of powers and can transform any of the three clans. But they're like those dead that comes to life using necromancy."
"Yes. We notice that. They only speak what had been commanded to them and just attack using any of the three races abilities and power."-Nathan.
"So what exactly did royal father think when the two of you created this laboratory?"-I ask.
"We ask some help from Cendrea and other powerful witch nobles for our research on how to treat and stop moonacres. But Cendrea suddenly died halfway and she didn't saw how this project ends. The elders have forgotten this and focused on guiding you to be a king resembled to the late king"s genius ruling. They succeed on doing that."
"Thank you for the compliment, Mr. Florence. But what did you mean by seeing the result? Eventually mother Cendrea came back to life. My wife"s real father had save her and keep her away from the chaos all this time."-I said. He looks surprised.
"Ohh? That's good to hear. This past months I have to focus with this project as we are heading to its success. And last month, we finally succeeded. One of the moonacres that attack in one of our villages had been caught by us. We use that as a chance to capture him and test the effectiveness of the potion. Good thing Cendrea had left a complete instruction."
"And that means...?"-Nathan. A curtain opens and we saw a man inside a capsule like what the slayers use for their experiment. He smack a button and the water had vanish and the capsule opens.
"Hmp! Haahh!"-he said. He cough and slowly stood out of that capsule. I can smell human"s blood from him. He look on us and step back.
"No! Don't hurt me! No!"-he screams.
"It's okay, you're already saved. We are not the one who abducted you from Dusk."-he said.
"He is a Dusk citizen? If he became human again, that means we can make those moonacres comes back to their senses? Is that possible Mr. Florence?"
"Yes, we can do that, your majesty. That's why you only need use weapons with the use of he potion and when it runs in their blood stream they can calm down and lost consciousness. We can continue our treatment for them at this place. Bring him in our camp and give him food."-he said to his men.
"That's good news."-Nathan. Cynthia will be happy with this news. Its better this way than killing them.
RACHEL WOODS P.O.V
I just sigh and look at him. He is serious on his training in using blood technique that he inherit from his father. I smiled and nod.
"Its better to surprise him when we get back. Both of us had no idea that I am 6 months pregnant. I thought its normal that my belly is getting bigger at some months because it does happens to me. I didn't know that I am pregnant myself.
"Okay. If that is your choice big sister. Everyone seems to be fulfilling their wish to have kids while we"re here and that is good news actually. At least no one should get pregnant while we are fighting on that war."-she said. That's true, I agree to what she said. I snap my finger when I remember the event tonight, the three of them look at me.
"What is it, Rachel?"-Ashley ask.
"We have to get ready for the triple wedding tonight."-I said. They both make an ohh sound.
"We forgot about that. Let's get back to work then. We better make their wedding as memorable as what we had before."-Ashley. Yes, they held their wedding ceremony along with their child's first birthday. Bot of our kids are at the same age.
"Let's get back to training then and after lunch let's start preparing for their wedding."-Cynthia. We nod and walk separately. My son looks at me.
"Hey, don't push yourself that hard, look at your big brother. He is taking it smoothly. Gavin, come here."
"Yes, mother. Wait up."-he said and ran towards us.
"Brother can you help me in controlling my power?"
"Of course, little brother. Mother, I'll take care of him here." -he said. I smiled and caress his cheek.
"Thanks son, I'll just talk to grandmother Laura, okay? Behave and listen to your big brother."
"Okay, mother. I will."-he said. Gavin had became a strong young adult. I know Nathan will be proud and he is a hands-on brother. I am proud of him actually. Thanks to his parents upbringing and he had a good attitude before we adopted him as our son. If he continues, we might build his own kingdom where he can rule. Like Dawn.
"Grandmother Laura, can I have moment of yours please?"-I ask. She smiled and nod.
"Can you convince Ms. Oddie and uncle Owen to marry each other? I mean tonight is the wedding of your two grandchildren and I was thinking if..."
"Uhm, not a bad idea. She is now having a good relationship with Owen. I'll try it, Rachel."
"Thanks grandmother Laura. I saw how they became friends and now they're close together."
"Good idea actually."-she said and smile.
CYNTHIA MAXIMILLIAN P.O.V
"I promise to be a husband that always stay by your side different from my strict personality when I am your master. During our stay here, I realize that I don't need to follow what had been envisioned about us. Because I"ll still love you, as you."-Rojun. He put the ring in Bambi's hand. Aunt Jillian is crying because of joy while uncle is smiling.
"I like it when you show patience on me when I struggle being adult and as a witch. I like it when you showed your smile when I"m doing great. Master, no. My beloved wife, let me grow stronger with you, is that okay?"-Dallas. Ezrene smiled and nod her head. He put the ring in her finger.
"I'm...I thought I won"t marrying anyone because death is on my feet at those time. I didn't realize I'll be marrying a kid that struggles to be an adult and help her family. But I am here, marrying a cute and lovely kid. Just don't grow up too fast and be as you always, Daisy. I am here to take care of you."-Ezeron. He put the ring in her finger. We smiled.
"I am just drag in this. Oh forget it, I'm just kidding. I am surprised that I am marrying the woman who killed me 100 times but...forget about it. I will try to be an ideal husband. I'll take care of you, I promise."
Uncle Owen is nervous when he put the ring.
"Master, I love it whenever you scold me and told me how to grow as a half-breed. I like being with when we"re on training. I'll be on your care from now on and...I love you."-Bambi said with her cutest smile. Rojun blush and smile after she puts the ring.
"I am proud how you grow as your master. But this day onwards, I'll be in your care and respect you as the man of our family. Just be yourself and when we"re not practicing, treat me as your wife."-Ezrene. Dallas smiled and nod. She put the ring in his finger.
"I am nervous to what you say master but...I will. I'll always be that cute girl that loves to be with you and pampered by you. But I promise I'll be a wife that you deserve."-Daisy. Oh, so cute! Ezeron smile.
"And you! Just kidding, I won't be sorry for what I did because you prove how you love your niece which is cute. But yes, we're drag into this so...let's be ourselves and try to get along."-aunt Bella. Uncle sigh in relief and smile when she"s putting the ring.
"Kiiissss!!"-everyone said. These men grab their waist and kiss them passionately. We clap our hands.
"Congratulations!"-we all said. The celebration is sweet and full of happiness. I'm proud of them.
The years gone by and we are now ready to go home in Skyfall. I smiled and snap our finger. Our jaws drop when we saw the castle in pieces. Ehh?!
