Chapter 19 The vampire king

CYNTHIA MAXIMILLIAN P.O.V
I didn't saw that coming. I never thought that a little mistake like that will make an explosion as strong as this. I cough. I suddenly sense that same presence. Then the pureblood vampire and a king himself appears in front of me.
"I am happy to see you again my Cynthia." he said.
He held my hand and even kiss them. I don't feel anything. I smiled and look at him.
"It's nice to see you again, king of the vampires."
"Whoa. Your glad to? Let's go then?" he said.
"Huh? To what?" I asked. He smiled.
"To my castle and be my wife." he said in a plain tone and even proud of it. But I feel disgusted.
"I can't. Did you see this?" I asked. I lifted my clothes and made him see my mark from Ulysses.
"You know that you only needed to reject him right? Don't you wanted a pureblood partner like me? He is just a dog. We more like made a good couple."
"Ahahaha. You think so?" I said. Making a laugh of disgusts. He is too confident. My eyes widened when he uses his power to control me.
"Just choose me and love me....miss Witch. I will be good to you." he said. My mind is turning blank.
"Big sister?!" Dallas.
"You dimwit blood sucking idiot!" he said.
"Lo...love?" I mumbled.
"Don't, Cynthia!" aunt Clara. But they're being stopped because I used a barrier spell. He smirked. He kissed me. Then my memories since the first time I kissed a man. The intimate moments of me and Ulysses rush through my head. I blinked and pushed him.
"NO!" I said. I canceled the barrier spell and wiped my lips using the back of my hand.
"Princess...Cynthia?" he said.
"How could you lower your guard like that?! Are you an idiot?!" he said. I looked at him.
"I am not an idiot okay?! It's not my fault that I am drawn because he used his power!" I said and pointed on the vampire for many times. He moved his face closer to me and shouted me back.
"Because you lower your guard, you silly witch!"
"Okay! I know that I am a silly witch! He came here without any bad intention that's why I let my guard down! It's not all my fault!" I shouted back.
"He kissed you and even confess his feelings! Of course he has bad intentions!"
"That is not a bad intentions! I just didn't know that he will use his power to make me reject you!"
"That's exactly my point!" he said.
"I didn't kiss him back!" I shouted.
"I don't believe it!" he said.
"I DIDN'T! Like what I did to George! It's not my fault that men is after me because of my power!"
"What if he finally take over your mind?! You will be erased that mark and go with that blood sucking insect!" he exclaimed. I am mad. I am mad!
"I don't have any plan in going anywhere! I am not going with him! I will be staying here! I won't be erasing this mark! Over my dead body you stupid stubborn insensitive dog!" I said. I turned my back to him and went to that pureblood vampire.
"This is all your fault. I should have kill you now?!" I said and my eyes turned pink. Aunt Miranda got to between us and even stretched her hands.
"Control yourself, Cynthia." she said. I sighed and closed my eyes. I held my head.
"I feel so awful. Oh my goodness." I mumbled.
"Ahahaha. You are cute yourself princess."
"No. I change my mind. I better kill this pervert vampire." I said and turn my eyes in pink again. He chuckled and raise both of his palm in his chest area.
"Relax, my lady. I am here to show my gratitude and my affection to you. I know what you have done in gem village. I owe you a lot for saving my kids."
"Waits, all those are your kids? You are a high level of pervert! How many wives did you have?!" I asked and covered my body. He laughed.
"I like your humor. You are indeed the daughter of Cendrea Maximillian." he said. I pouted.
"I feel like I will never trust you. Good thing mother didn't fall in love with a playboy like you. You are a very dangerous man." I said.
"Oh please. Not even close to those dogs. They are more dangerous that I am. Did you know that among the three supernatural clans, werewolves are gifted with high sex tolerance? Their libido is should be the thing that you have to be wary for. I really mean what I said." he said. They give him a death glare. He laughed and he appeared in front of me.
"But I can also be wild as well." he said and even winked at me. I turned my hand into fist and punch him in head. I even heard a cracking sound. He pouted.
"You like brutal, baby?" he said.
"NEVER, you dimwit vampire. As for saving the gem village. Your welcome. I will never turn my back to things that I can help for. If you come here for that, you may go now. I don't have time for your games. I have something to do that will make us rich. Now, go away." I said and walked away. I also changed my appearance and took off the charcoal dust.
"Okay kids, let's start again. This time no mistake. This is the leaves we need for the final ingredient."
"Okay!" they both said. I created a cauldron, fire and water that we need for boiling.
"Are you making a potion or elixir?" he asked and stood in front of the cauldron.
"Nope. I am making a vampire soup. Actually, you are my main ingredient." I said and even raise my ladle. He gulped and looked at me.
"Your taking my actions in the heart, huh?"
"Of course. Especially that I hate pervert, self centered, too confident and mostly! If it has a name of Nathan Jacques." I said. He laughed and sighed.
"Look, I'm sorry if you think that I am that kind of vampire. But if you only try to know me, you will going to love this vampire." he said.
"No thanks. I am good. I already sue you away right?" I said. He took the book and looked at it.
"Oh, a medicine potion for snake bites." he said.
"And so? None of your business mister." I said.
"Have you ever saw a snake from Mythical forest? They will be your main ingredient and you will surely make a good snake bite potion from their venom."
"I already saw one. They're cobra's. Ah! What if you'll bring me some of their venom? You already said the main ingredient. You should help me then."
"And you really entertain this playboy king?" he suddenly butt in. I pouted and gave him a cold stare.
"And you think you are not a playboy king yourself?" I said. His eyebrow arched. Nathan chuckled and looked at the three wolves. They came closer and looked at him madly.
"You have three yourself." he said.
"Shut up, you blood sucking insect." he said.
"Why don't you guys calm down first?" aunt Miranda. Aunt Clara came along with the new ingredients she picked. He sighed and put the basket on the table and look at them.
"Still having a word war, everyone?" she said.
"They haven't stop for even a minute." Windy.
"It's their fault. They are disturbing me here." I said.
"Everyone is at fault." Wendell also came and they sat down in my back. I sighed, they both make sense.
"That's true, eventually." I said.
"Wow, you agreed."-Chenqian. I sighed and put my ladle on my shoulder and looked at my giant tigers.
"At least they're not childish like me." I said. They smiled and they seem proud of it. I smiled on them.
"Are you looking for an investor?" he asked.
"If you said you, will? No, pass. I don't want an investor who is a pervert." I said. He just smile.
"That hurts. I have to go and get your venom then. I'll see you in a moment." he said and left.
"Good thing he leave now." Marko.
DUCHESS RACHEL WOODS P.O.V
I sighed when I saw that no one is attending these papers in the table. That king! He went off again and have fun. He really needed to be knocked off! His secretary entered.
"He went to Skyfall castle. He learns about what happens to gem village." he said. My head wrinkled.
"The most peaceful vampire village? What happen there? I haven't heard anything." I said.
"It's just happen yesterday night, duchess. Here's the letter from gem village head, Conrad Grains."
"Thanks Benedict. You can go back to your work."
I read the letter. My eyes widened when I read the name. Is she connected to her? I decided to visit Skyfall castle to know myself. I used this talisman and it teleports me to a—what the heck! I used my power to stop me from being an ingredient of this potion. My eyes widened when our eyes meet. The ladle is on her shoulder. She looked at me.
"Vampire." she said. Tears fall in my eyes. This is a surprise for me. I can't believe that she looks exactly like her. For all those two decades, I have been trying to enter Dawn kingdom but I can't maybe because the protection spell that she made sense what I always want to do. That is to take her away from damn place. She looked at me surprised.
"Uhm. I didn't mean to be rude. I'm sorry. D don't cry please!" she said. She look guilty. I sat down above this cauldron, the potion won't affect me.
"Why does vampires visit my castle these days?!"
"Sister. I'm glad you are alive and already leave that castle. You look like, mother Cendrea." I said.
"Huh?!" they shouted. She looked at me.
"M mother had another d daughter?" she said.
"No. I am not her biological daughter. I am one of the kids she save and visits once in a while. She agreed when I ask her if I can call her mother, that's why I said you are my sister." I said. Then the king suddenly came and he smells like a venom of a snake. He is surprised to see me, I went to him and pull his collar. I am smilingly pissed off.
"What kind of fun again this time, you piece of shit?"
"I'm sorry. I came here to say my gratitude to Cynthia and of course to court—agh!"
I punch him in his head and look at him madly.
"Don't you dare adding my sister in your list of women. I will kill you myself." I said in pissed tone.
"You are so cold, Rachel. Wait, sister? She?" he said. But we are being stop when another wolf pack came. He rush to Cynthia and stare at her so closely. I went beside her and pulled her to me and hugged her.
"Huh? Vampire? Don't touch my woman." he said. King Ulysses seems to be mad, huh?
