My eyes widened when I realize what she mean. That made me smile and kiss her out of joy. She smiled and look at me. "This time you'll experience everything, I promise."-she said. "Okay, but. Why did you hide it? What if something happens to you? I told you no secrets allowed and--"
"I'm sorry. I won't do it again. I will start today."-she said. Everyone laugh because of us. We're like kids who got into fight. I just sigh, I don't have a choice but to forgive her. The kids ran out of the house when they saw us. I'm happy to see Farrah and our son holding their baby. That no one had to die and we went home safe and sound. After he hug his parents, our grandchild ran towards us and hug us.
"Grandmother, grandfather, welcome home." he said. "We're home sweetie." she replied. I carried him and smile at him. This kid is such a good boy. Amaro report to us.
"Everything had been settled with the slayers. Gladys use her power to erase the memories of the slayers. They can now live differently."-he said. She smiled to Gladys.
"Thank you, Gladys. Mother, you can now bring everyone back to their houses in every regions."-she said to her mother. Her eyes change to pink and we knew she already send everyone back to their homes. Even the moonacres that we bring home. Gavin appear in front of us.
"Everything went back to normal, father, mother."-he said.
"Good job, son."-Nathan said and pet him. His younger brother hug him. They act like they left each other side for ages. My eyes was drawn to the blue moon that will soon disappear, I held her shoulder and we all look at the sky.
"It's beautiful. Now we can move forward without thinking about wars. But we have a problem. Who will rule Dawn and Magus?"-aunt Jillian. Everyone look on us. Mother-in-law speaks. She must have plans herself.
"Southwest region wants me and Wallace to rule them. We will stay there along with Owen and aunt Bella. Dawn will be your, grandson. As for Magus, the ancestral mansion of Maximillian had a mirror that can see future. He said that the next king of Magus is the baby your carrying, Cynthia. Ezeron, you will inherit your parents mansion and Ezrene, you will go back to Dawn and I made a surprise for you and Dallas."-she said. They bow on her as a show of respect.
"Thank you, queen Cendrea."-they said. She just smile.
"Then I don't have to be the treaty"s leader?"-aunt Jillian.
"We still need that organization, aunt Jillian. You showed your fairness and we still want you to be its leader. But at least now, you don't have to worry too much. You can now have more time to visit your grandchildren."-I said.
"Aww, too bad."-she said. We laugh, we notice that Cynthia is staring Gladys and Gavin. I tap her shoulder. She suddenly snap her finger, she seems to remember something.
"Gavin is your husband Gladys. Now I remember why he looks familiar. When I saw your future that day, I saw a beautiful vampire carrying you in his arms. Now that Gavin is grown up, he looks exactly the same. Or maybe not?"
"Oh, come on! You should've said that. Let him fall in love like a normal beings."-Nathan. She suddenly zip her lips.
"I can erase that in their memories?"-she said. I laugh.
"Maybe you can have a business about matchmaking."
"Not a bad idea."-she said. My goodness, my wife is such a baby and I like her this way. After that, we all eat the food that Miranda and Clara cook. We enjoyed the rest of the night. We have the peace that we have sought for a long time. I can now enjoy my life with her.
CYNTHIA MAXIMILLIAN P.O.V
When I got the chance to leave the castle, I went to Estella's place. She staying on the orphanage where her mother left her. She is placing the clothes on the string to dry them. She gave me that death glare. I just stood here.
"Do you want me to change your life?"-I offered.
"Like what? You can't change the fact that I live in hell."
"I can do that. I will help you to start all over again."
"Like what? Can you even give me a parents who will be good to me? Hah, don't make me laugh."-she said. I walk towards her and hold her hand. I will change her time. A void suddenly appears and take her away. I smiled. "May your life will change for the better, Estella."-I said. The surrounding seems to change. Maybe because I have change someone's life. I went home when I feel like the time had settle down. I look at the castle, there is a house that appears on the backyard. Then our friends comes out with their children. I walk towards them. I want to know something. He stop me and give me that glare.
"Where did you go? You know that your pregnant right?"
"I just visit Estella."-I said. He looks puzzled. O...kay?
"Estella? Did you have any friend except of Ashley, George and Alexa?"-he ask. He didn't remember Estella?
"Estella Holsen, it doesn't ring any bell?"-I ask. He shook his head and Chenqian suddenly speak. It's effective.
"Who is that? You should call her once so that we can meet her."-she said. I just smile and shook my head. I'm glad.
"No. Maybe she is having a different life now."-I said.
"Okay, but you should be careful. You're pregnant."-Yasmin.
"I know. I already feel the baby bump. It's already four months old."-I said. 'Ehh? Four months? Really?' Maybe its the effect of how I change Estella's life. But its okay.
"Eugene and the others will visit tonight for dinner. We have to prepare a good food for them."-aunt Clara. Aunt Miranda and her family move back in Dawn. They have their own castle in the capital. So I knew Eugene won't be lonely. I stretch my back and pick some vegetables first. We start preparing for a beautiful dinner today.
"We're here!"-they said. They're waving to us as they walk in from the gate. I smiled and we wave at them as well.
"Welcome home, everyone!"-I said. We hug each other before we all seat on the long table. They smiled when they saw the delicious meal I prepared for them. I spoke.
"All right everyone, let's start eating our dinner."-I said.
"Aye!"-they said. We all shared the news and what happened with the kingdom for the past month. Everyone seems to be doing just fine and they can be able to improve the life of their citizens. I just learn that I ask grandmother to be the queen of Magus while the baby isn't ready yet.
"I am glad everyone is coping up with their new responsibilities. Ahh, this is the life I have been wanting."
"It was you who made this happen."-mother. I just smile and look at these faces who gives me home.
"I love you everyone. Forever."-I said. They smile.
"We love you, forever."-they said in chorus. After that dinner, everyone decided to spend the weekend here. For family bonding. I open my eyes and when I look at the window, it is dark outside. I stood up and open the door in the balcony. The moon is about to set, the wind is cold and it is brushing off my skin. It was refreshing. When a man wraps his hands on my body, I nestled to him.
"You really notice when I'm not in our bed."-I said.
"Yes, that's why you can't run away from me."-he said. He lifted my chin and give me sweet and passionate kiss.
ULYSSES ALEXANDERS P.O.V
Months had passed and now...Clara knock on the door and open it in a hurry. I look at her. She is pointing outside.
"The queen is having a labor!"-she said. I jump over my table and grab her. We ran back to our room. My mother is holding her hand while mother-in-law is ready to help her in giving birth. I held her other hand and saw the pain in her face. I suddenly feel bad for her. This is all my fault.
"This will be our last baby. I never thought you have to suffer like this. I feel bad not being with you when Eugene is born."-I said. Mother caresses my back to comfort me.
"She will be okay, son. Cynthia is a strong woman."-mother.
"Last one? No!"-she said. We all look at her. Confused.
"Ehh? What did you mean by that?"-Rachel. She spoke.
"I want another boy and three girls. This is just our second baby, we still have to work for four babies."-she said. They laugh. That made me smile, how can she say that?
"Wow, she's the only mother who still want more babies while in pain. Your scary, queen of wolves."-Nathan.
"Shut up. The baby is coming!"-she shouted. I touch her mark and channeled the pain she felt on me. Half of the pain will be transferred to me. I grab the headboard, I can't believe this is much worst that being stab! Or when they tried to turn me into a moon acre! But her delivery only take 10 minutes. My heart is full of happiness when I saw our son. He might be reeking with blood but he's handsome.
"Here you go. The second baby of the two of you."-she said.
"Thank you, mother Cendrea."-I said. We both hold his hand when his grandmother place him in Cynthia's chest. I kiss her forehead and smile on her. She did a good job.
"Thank you, silly."-I said, she giggled and we stare on him.
"Welcome in this world, Tyler Alexanders."-she said.
7 years later
I look at her and kiss her forehead. I knew Tyler had been active all day and he is very interested in learning magics before his training in becoming a wolf. He still have 7 years before he can turn himself into a wolf. Good thing Tyler agreed that I will be the one who will read a bed time story to him. He is such a sweet baby. Now our mothers are expecting their second child this year. Yes, they never thought they'll give sibling after we are parents ourselves.
"Ulysses?"-she moan and drag me down. She hug me tightly.
"I'm sorry if I woke you up."-I said. She open her eyes and look at me. I end up kissing her because I miss her so much. I have been in different villages in all regions for a month. I just came back today. She moaned. I made love with her before we sleep. When I open my eyes, she is already watching me sleeping. She kiss me softly. I smiled.
"Good morning love."-she said. I held her up and smile.
"Good morning, love."-I also said. We stayed like this for a couple of minutes. When we get up and went to the garden, everyone seems to be waiting for us. Tyler is sitting on his nephew's lap. Erin is like his sibling and Eugene pampered him. We both sat down and pour the coffee in our cup.
"Good morning."-we all said to one another. Cynthia place some cinnamon bread in my plate. Nathan speak to us.
"We have good news, Rachel is carrying our third child."
"Congratulations."-we said. Everyone seems to be having a great time. The peace we fought is what we are enjoying now. I knew that things will still change day by day.
"Mother, father, can I go back with big brother Eugene in Dawn? For a month maybe?"-he ask. I just nod and smile.
"Of course, son."-I said. The morning had started.
