A Small Proposal

STARS POV:

The thoughts keep rolling through my mind about last night. Not about Me and Conri, but about Nick and Justice. I'm very curious to find out if she will be at work today, if she's a wolf now, she's going to take on new powers that she's never had. Instead of keep questioning this, I left Conri sleeping at the reserve. It's more important to me that I find out the truth.

Arriving at work earlier than normal, I put my belongings in my locker. I trotted to the third floor of the hospital where I work because I did not want to see Ben today. I'm planning on making my proposal to Conri tonight, therefore, I'm not going to let Ben ruin anything for me. Sitting patiently in the breakroom waiting for Justice to get here, anger soared through my body as I just saw Ben walk down the hall! The tention inside me is causing my irritation to flare. I thought to myself, "What the hell is he doing here so early? He is never here this early, in fact, he's always late!"

The tention inside of me is becoming stronger and stronger, causing a bit of the wolf to come out. This can't be happening, I can't let this happen, running off of the third floor, I had to find a place to hide-at least until the wolf inside me calms down! I raced to the elevator and pressed the button that leads to the ground floor, I know where to hide-out down there. When the elevator reaches the ground floor, I hurried and ran down the hall to the morgue of the hospital.

"This is crazy that I have to hide-out in here, but no one will come in this room. I just need the wolf to calm down, If my co-workers saw the wolf, what would they think!"

My voice mumbles, "no wolf, no wolf, don't do this now, this can't happen."

My legs start shaking, the frustration is a burning sensation, "stop, stop wolf, calm down, calm down!" I'm not going to let Ben get the best of me!

Moments later, a sigh of relief, the wolf inside me is stopping from fully comong out. Collecting myself before leaving this horrible room with deceased people, I can finally go back to my floor. Slowly peeking from the door, making sure no one is around to see me come from this room, I quickly ran out while no one is around. I hopped on the elevator to the third floor hoping that Justice is there!

I'm quietly standing by the nurses station, I can hear yells coming from the breakroom, whispering to one of the nurses, "what is all that shouting about?" The charge nurse of the unit rolled her eyes and said, "Oh, that's Ben again. He's on a rampage as usual." "Why?" I replied. "Justice didn't show up agian. She hasn't called in either," She said.

My body stood there still, my jaw dropped and now I know what happened.

I quickly said to the nurse, "I gotta go. I'm sorry." I ran to the elevator quickly, went to the first floor then left the hospital. Thankfully Ben did not see me or I would not of been able to leave like that! I'm not sure where to go first, to the reserve or to Justice's house, but then the thought that there is no way she would be home, not after becoming a wolf, Nick wouldn't take her home like that! I'm just going to go back to the reserve.

Conri and his pack are out in the field training. Glancing around the field, looking for Nick, there is no sight of him. He's not out htere with the pack. I'm not going to interrupt Conri while he's our there, so I'm just going to wait until he's done to ask if Nick showed up today.

While waiting on my man to finish with his pack, I'm going to plan on setting up a nice dinner out by the fire for later and then make my proposal to him! I'm thrilled to hear what he says about it, and if he says what I think he will, this will make my whole world so much better!

I grabbed some wood that was left near the fire pit, setting it inside, then i went inside his house and grabbed a small round table and two chairs. Bringing them outside, while setting them by the fire pit, Conri looks over at me, I'm sure he's wondering what I'm doing. Next thing I know, he's walking over here.

Stopping what I was doing to talk to Conri.

"Hey, babe. What are you doing here?" He asked smiling.
"It's a surprise," I said.
"Hmmm...What do you have for me?" He replied.
"You'll find out after you're done with the pack," I said softly.
"Oh, I can't wait!" He whispered while giving me a kiss.
"Hey, before you go back. Where is Nick?" I asked quickly.
"He didn't show up today," He replied.
"Oh, hmm. Justice wasn't at work today," I said.
"We will talk about this when I'm finished. I shouldn't be too much longer," He replied.

Conri quickly went back out into the field. Since he's almost done, I'm going to finish grabbing the rest of the stuff. The table and chairs sit by the fire pit with a nice white cloth covering the top of the table, I put a bouquet of flowers in the middle of the table, set our plates and glasses on each side of the table. The food will come later when Conri cooks it over the fire.

Conri sent his pack off, as soon as he comes to me, I put my arms around him and kiss him on the lips. Loving the taste of his lips we kissed passionately. We sat down at the table, he looks around and says, "Did you do all this for me?" "Yes. I love you!" I replied. "Wow! It looks great! What for though?' He asked.

I became speechless for a moment, then I look at his beautiful blue eyes and said softly, "I'm nervous to say this, but I have a proposal for you!" He smiles at me and says, "Babe, just say it. I love you." "Okay, Here it goes! I want to be with you and only you, so I was wondering, could I stay with you, like move in with you? I want to live with you for the rest of my life!" I asked nervously.
