The Phone Call

STAR'S POV:

Oh my goodness!

Ben is being a complete jerk! You can hear him yelling probably from millions of miles away. He's such and idiot, does he really think I care what he says. I mean, he should know this. He should know that I know he messed with my man and I'm not going to have this. He's such a condescending asshole! I screamed looking at Conri, shaking my head.

"Do you hear him?" I asked Conri.
"I do. What the hell. He sounds like he's not going to let you change your shift," Conri said.
"Oh, babe. I will not let him try to tell me what to do! I don't care what he thinks. If I must, I will quit," I replied.

Conri sits here shaking his head, he's just as confused as I am. Ben is actually yelling from the top of his voice. I'm not paying any attention to him, I have my arm extended holding the phone away from my ear. He' so loud that we can hear his voice coming through the phone, which is so ridiculous of him.

I look at Conri and ask him if he heard what Ben had just said, Conri says that he didn't, so I said, "he just told me I'm rejecting him." How in the world am I rejecting him? I asked Conri. I laugh because he must be insanly crazy to htink something like that, he must not know what rejection means. I don't even have anything to do with him, other than a co-worker. Conri asks me why I am laughing so I told him what he had just said. Conri grins and says, "just hang up on the idiot." So I did.

After I hung up on Ben, all I could do is sit here shaking my head back and forth, like I'm in total shock right now! I look at Conri and say, "I'm going to quit working there. I'm not going to deal with his immaturity. He's crazy." "If he is talking like that, then I'd quit too. Does he actually think he was going to have you?" Conri asks. "A-Ahhh. Who knows, but JI'm done working there," I replied.

I'm not sure if I should give him a notice and work it out or just not show up to work. If I just don't show up, then it will screw my other co-workers, so I'm thinking about working another week there, just so they could find a replacement for me.

I must fill Justice in on all of this. She's going to wonder why I'm not at work anymore. I'm going to give her a call a bit later, then we can plan for Conri's surprise party and that's when I will tell her about Ben and work.

After all of this, I ask Conri if he wants to get some sleep, I told him that I'm tired. He said that he's ready for bed, so we both went inside the house and went upstairs to bed.

EARLY EVENING:

I woke up earlier than Conri. I'm glad I did because I can have Justice come over to plan for his party and he will not know a thing about it. I hurried and called Justice. I asked her to come over and she said she'll be over in about fifteen minutes.

While I'm waiting for her to get here, I made a jug of ice tea for us and put some snakcs on teh kitchen table to snack on while we plan the party.

As soon as I finished setting the table, Justice arrives. She knocked on the door and I yelled out for her to come in. She sits at the kitchen table, I poured her a glass of ice tea and ask how she's doing? "great!" she replied. I poured myself a glass of tea and sit at the table.

First I started off by saying, "lets plan the surprise party for Conri. He's asleep, so we can do this in private now." "Okay. Do you want me to do all the inviting?" she asks. "Yes. Invite all this friends and a few of his family members. I'm going to order food because if he see's me making all that food, he will wonder why I'm making it, then it will spoil his surprise. If you could pick up a few decorations I'd appreciate that," I said. "Okay. Yes, I can grab them from the store when I go," Justice replied. "Okay. Great! he's going to be so surprised and I can't wait to see the look on his face. His birthday is a week away, so I'm going to have it next saturday. If you could tell everyone that it's on saturday around 6PM that would help me out tremendously!" I said. "Okay! I will," Justice replied.

Now that we figured that out, wait until I tell you this! You're going to be shocked.

"So, Ben, our boss is crazy. He thought that I was going to be his girl, but he found out that I'd never be his girl. I told him that I'm not working night shift anymore and he went crazy on me. I actually hung up on him because I couldn't listen to him yell at me for witching my hours. I'm quitting there and I'll work another week just so they can find someone to replace me. "What! OMG! are you serious?" Justice asks.
"Yes. I'm serious. I can't take Ben anymore, he's acting crazy whith me and I have no idea why," I replied. "I knew I had a funny feeling about that guy. I knew it. What d you want to tell me?" Justice said.

Justice sits at the in shock. But nothing Like I was, she knew something suspicious about Ben. Then I mentioned to her what he had done to Conri and she will see his leg once he awakes. Justice shakes her head and says, "we will get him. Trust me. Nick does not like him either. He told me to quit working there, but I haven't yet. I wanted to tell you, but I did not know how," Justice said.
