Lies, Lies, Lies, All Lies

STAR'S POV:

Moments quickly pass by and I have a sense of suspicion going on with Sabrina and to why she's here. She's never came to visti before, and now she has! I don't believe her one bit. I'm keeping muy guard up while she's here. I'll hear what she has to say but that's it.

If she thinks I'm some stupid person and believe her lies, then she's the fool!

While Conri, Nick, and Justice are still in the tent, I must keep her from going out there. I have a feeling she's here to find out what's going on over here and I will not let her find out, EVER. So, I'll play her little game and go along with her, I'll show her.

I'm sure Ben is involved in this also. As if he did not cause enough trouble over here. Now he's trying to cause more, thankfully, I'm on to him and Sabrina who must be on his side.

The thing that I'm worried about is if Justice comes walking out from the tent and Sabrina sees her. Then what? We aren't quite ready for that yet! We want to keep her a secret until after the wedding, when we make our move to attack the enemy.

"How am I going to let Conri and Nick know to keep Justice inside the tent while Sabrina is here?"

Most of the words she's telling me are all lies, I know it. I'm not stupid. I can't believe she even thinks that I'm going to fall for her lies, but I'm going with it. I want to see wehre she's going with this.

'It's too suspicious to me to jsut let it go! I'm going to find out what she's up to!'

I just gotta find a way to inform Conri about this. As soon as I can think of something to say, Conri must know about this. I feel like Ben and the rest of his pack are hiding out somewhere in the woods. I have that sense and it's strong. I'm going to play along with her and keep her here as long as I can. Maybe Conri will come out from the tent soon!

While we sit here and talk, she mentions that her job at the hospital is getting to rough and she can't handle it, I have to hide mu laughter because I know that's a lie. How could it be rough for her since she's the head nurse and all she does is sit at her desk and chart on people. She's doesn't even help when the other employees need help, so here's another lie.

But I'm going along with her!

The only that could come out of my mouth is, "Maybe you should find another job." I didn't know what else to say. Then suddenly, she starts talking about Ben. I knew I had to listen to this, so I did. Sabrina went on and on about how terrible Ben is treating everyone at the hospital, how he's demanding putting more hours on us to work, how we arent' doing our job correctly, and how he will fire us if we don't start stepping things up.

All I could do is shake my head back and forth and say, "I can't believe that he's being such an idiot." I didn't want to say the wrong thing incase it leads to Justice still being alive.

"I know she's up to something now!"

Now she's going on and on about how me and Justice were the only ones that did our job right, how we were the only ones who had all of our work done, and how she wishes I would start working there again. Then she suddenly blurted out, "how are you doing with Justice being gone? I know you two were best friends!" I look at her quickly, then I lower my head as if I'm getting sad that she asked me that.

I had to pretend that Justice is still dead, so again, I play along with her. Tears started rolling down my cheek and I say, "I'm a mess. I wish she was still here. She was going to be my matron of honor in my wedding! I miss her so much."

Sabrina gives me a confused look and says, "Wait. You mean you and Conri are getting married?" "Yes," I said.

I see the shocking look on her face and I hope she goes and tells Ben, maybe he will get the point!

"Oh, Wow! That's great! I'm glad to hear that!" Sabrina said.
"Yeah. So I do wish Justice was still here," I replied.
"Oh, I'm sure you do. I'm sorry," Sabrina said.

She's playing me and I see it. She doesn't care about me or Justice, all she want's to do is find out information on us. She's a fool to think I would give anything type of information to her.

I'm suddenly so relieved because Conri is walking toward us. He finally decided to come out from the tent. I'm gonna have to give him a sign that she's here to get information from us. So when Conri comes to us, I introduce Sabrina to him and give him a look of suspicion.

Sabrina intoduces herself to him and says, "I used to work with Star. She was one of the best there and I wish she was still there."
"I know she was. She'll never go back there!" Conri said with a smirk.

Sabrina then mentions to Conri that I informed her about the wedding. Then she said that she knows we all wish Justice was still ablive to see it. Conri nods his head up and down and says, "Yep. We do." Conri knows something funny is going on, just by the way Sabrin is talking and looking around the field. Neither of us know what it is yet, but we will find out!

I must talk to Conri privetely, so I mentioned to Sabrina that I will be right back, I'm going to go inside and grab us something to drink.

Conri and I walk inside the house.
