Obligations

CONRI'S POV:

Her beautiful face gets me everytime! The things she does for me, no one has ever done for me, She's my girl and I'm going to keep her! She'll be happy when I tell her I want her to move in with me! I wouldn't want it any other way, but for her to be right by my side. I'm going to protect her, love her, serve her, and show her how to live in our pack. The time is right now, so I must spend more time with her than in the pack, at least for a few days. I have so many obligations that I must put her first.

Despite the fact that my pack is important to me, Star is more important to me than them and I have more obligations for her than any one else. When she asked me if she could move in with me it was so heart warming, she know how much I love her and want to be with her every minute of the day, but with my obligations to the pack, that's not possible, at least if she moves in with me, I'll get to see her more throughout the day!

I want to marry her and have her pups someday, but for now, moving in with me is a great idea and I'm thankful for having her in my life! Once she moves in she will find out what the pack does all day, we hunt and train, but my job requires more obligations than any other in the pack so, she must know that I'm going to be out in the field for most of the day preparing for the battle with the enemy. She must accept everything that comes along with me, since there is much that she doesn't know what I do when she's away. When everything gets settled, I will explain it to her.

When the real training begins for battle, I hope she doesn't think I'm neglecting her! The preperation for the battle will take up so much of my time, it'll seem like we haven't talked to one another in days. This goes over and over in my head, the frustration of her thinking that I'm neglecting her would hurt me. There's just so much on my mind, and now Nick! Our last training he didn't show up, he knows how important training is, and he didn't show up. I don't show my feeling to Star or anyone else, I keep them hidden inside me, then the wolf comes out at the wrong times. So, Yeah, there's a lot on my mind righ now.

Star's moving in tomorrow and I must find out what happened to Nick, knowing she's going to want me to help her bring her things here, I think finding out what happened to Nick is more important right now! I mean, she could get one of her friend sto help her. Her heart is so sensitive, so I'm going to make sure I don't come off the wrong way when I make it clear to her Nick is more important right now.

Since Star's at work, I have time to find out what happened to Nick the other day. The first thing I do is call him. I let his phone ring about five times, he doesn't answer, now 'm more concerend than ever! Something isn't right, he has never done anything like this before, it's urgent that I find out what's going on with him. I threw my arms up in the air, and thought about what could be wrong, hell, I don't even know where he would be, this just makes everything so much more frustrating. Like I really need this right now from him, he's one of my best wolves in the pack, and he's doing this!! I don't know what to do!

I'm going to go to Star for her opinion about this.

I walked inside our cottage to find Star sleeping on the couch, I started tapping on her shoulders to wake her. She starts to stir, turning on her back from her side. I said, "Babe, wake up." She opens her eyes slowly, I move her legs closer to the couch then sit down. I started to rub her legs waiting for her to fully wake up, and when she did, she smiled at me, I smiled back and said, "Something isn't right with Nick, I must go find him. I tried calling him and he didn't pick up his phone." Star sits up, crosser her legs on the couch and faces me and says, "I had a feeling about this. Justice wasn't at work yesterday, she never misses work! I was going to mention it to you last night, but we were occupied."

"Yeah, something is definitely not right!" I replied.
"Do you want me to go with you?" Star asked.
"No. I gotta do this myself," I said.
"Are you sure? I'll call off work today," Star said.
"I'm sure. Thank you though. I'm going to leave and go check on him now. I'll see you after work," I replied.

Before I left I gave Star a kiss and a hug. I would have loved to see her off to work, but now I gotta deal with Nick and his situation. It's frustrating at times, but this is the responsibility I chose when I became the leader. I'm going to fulfill my duties and do everything that I promised my father I'd do. Remembering back when I was a young boy my father did everything, he showed me the way of the pack, he was so strong and led his pack and I don't remember him getting frustrated like the way I'm getting.

I left the cottage quickly, I walked through the woods first, maybe he's hurt and laying in the woods, I thought. That would be mnore sensable as to why he hasn't contacted me. Continuing through the woods, there is no sign of him, so the next place would be to go to his house. Nearing the end of the woods, it starts raining, so I started to run fast, I can feel the shifting inside my body, the wolf starts to come out. "Is it all these obligations that I made making the wolf come out?" I asked myslef. I gotta stop it, this can't happen right now! I better calm down before it happens fully. I stopped running and found a secluded area to stand in. I'm not sure why this is happening right now!
