The Princess's Heart Is Mine

CONRI'S POV:

We entered the small cabin. This cabin hasn't been touched in many, many years, there are many cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, inches of dust on some very old furniture, the white walls are covered in dust and the few pictures hanging are also covered in dust. It's just a mess inside here, we will need to get cleaning clothes to clean off the walls and the pictures, we can't see a thing and the furniture, I will not sit on, it's so dirty in here.

Star suggest we leave here, go and get a few items to clean with then come back another day. I will agree with her, this place is filthy. We left the cabin and decided to head back home. We will come up here another day.

By the evening of the night we leave the valley and head home. With each step taken on the way home, we shifted into the wolf, we raced home for some unknown reason. When we arrived home, I instantly ran into the field and noticed a few tents had been ripped down! I'm not sure what happened, but I'm going to find out. If this is Ben's doing, he's done! I'm destroying him once and for all. I'm not going to jump to any conclusions yet, it may have been from a storm or maybe from an animal.

I'm going to ask Nick if we had a storm here while I was away for a few days. I'm going to wait until early morningn to ask him, it's too late right now. Star asked me what happened and I told her that I'm not sure and I will find out tomorrow.

We both have a suspicious feeling that this is all from Ben. Last time Star talked to him, he was in a rage about her not working the night shift, so it's pretty obvious that this is from him. But I'm still going to ask Nick when I see him tomorrow.

If he thinks he can get to me, he's wrong! If he thinks this will make Star change her mind, he's wrong. I have her heart! She's my girl! If I find out he did this to my reserve, I'm going after him and nothing will stop me! He's caused enough shit around here and with me and Star.

"Ahhh. This makes me so angry. I don't know why he can't just leave us alone! Often I think, "why is he doing this? Why must he want to hurt us so badly?" He caused all this havoc and now he will pay for it.

I don't know why he just can't accept that Star is my girl, not his. I mean, she has told him multiple times that she's with me and going to be with me forever! Maybe I will try to talk to him civilized and let him know that Star doesn not want him and he is to leave her alone, but knowing him, he will take this to extremes.

I'm not sure what to do yet about Ben. I have so much to get done here, at the valley, and prepare our marriage, so Ben should be the last thing on my mind, but for some unknown reason he's not. I'm going to figure all this nonsense out soon.

Star is my princess and I will not let anything or anyone come between us again. I'm going to protect her with all of my abilities, I will die for her. If Ben cannot accept this then I will fight for her at no costs.

Once we laid in bed, Star asks me what I think may have happened. I'm just going to tell her my thoughts on this because she may be able to help end this once and for all.

"Well, babe. Here's what I think. This is all Ben's doing. I think he came here expecting us to be here and when he saw that we weren't, he ripped down the tents," I said.
"Do you really think that he did this?" She asked.
"Yes. Yes I do. I'm going to ask Nick if we had a storm here just to be sure that it was him," I replied.
"Well, if he did this, we will stop him once and for all. I'm tired of this and tired of him. Who does he think he is trying to ruin us like this?" Star said.
"I know babe. I wll get him. Trust me!" I replied.

Star is becoming worried now, I can see the glare in her eyes as we talk about this. Seeing her worried makes me more angry and I want Ben to suffer, the way he makes us suffer. He has caused us to argue once and he will not do this to us again, I will not let him do this to us. The first time, he caught me off guard, he's lucky, but now, I'm on top of his games.

Looking at Star, she's fallen asleep. Of course, I'm still up.

"What's he going to do when he finds out we are going to marry?" I thought to myself. I chuckle because that will show him just how much Star loves me, and her heart is mine! Then maybe, just maybe he will leave us alone! Eventhough I'm going to try to be nice about this, if he even bothers star one more time, I'm going to open the gates to hell. He will be destroyed! Then Star and I can live peacefully.

Maybe I'm overthinking all of this, but I'm going to be prepared this time, I'm not going to be caught off guard again. He thinks he beat me, well wait until he comes face to face with me. He did not win anything, maybe he thought he did, but I showed him when Nick and I got him in the bushes.

He thought he had Star on his side, but he was wrong abuot that also!

I'm done thinking about him, I must get some sleep. I have a long day of planning tomorrow.
