Her Acceptance

NICK'S POV:

I helped Justice walk inside the house since she's weak and her legs keep buckling from underneath of her. We walk into the living room and sit on the couch. She groggily asks me to get her a glass of water, she said that her mouth feels dry, and her body is soar. I walked into the kitchen and poured her a glass of water and brought it to her. She took a sip of it, set it down on the coffee table and asked me again what happened to her. At first, I siat there with my head down, loooking at the floor, then I turned toward her and grabbed ahold of her hands.

"So, here it goes. The other night when we made love, you became a werewolf. I turned you into a wolf after we made love. Then, I'm not sure why or how this happened, but you were sleeping for two days straight. You didn't wake up at all. I didn't know what to do, but stay by you the whole time! Then when I finally started getting too nervous, I was just about to go see Conri and ask him for help, but he showed up at my house. I had him check on you and said that you were fine and that sometimes things like this happens. Then when you finally woke, you woke up as the wolf, I couldn't control you, you were so strong and would not listen to what I had to say. You tried leaving here, but I stopped you because I was afraid that someone might see you and kill you so I tied you up against a tree. I hated to do all of this, but it was the only way I knew how to keep you safe, even from yourself. You were in a rage!"

"OMG! I don't remember any of what you just told me! So what you're telling me is that I'm a werewolf?" She asked.
"Yes," I said.
"OMG. How am I supposed to live like this? I don't know the first thing about being a shifter!" She said nervously.
"I'm here to guide you along the way. I'm going to inform you about how we live and what we do," I said.

She sat there silently, then suddenly she said, "No! No! I'm not going to live like this! How can I become human again?" She blurted out.
"There is no way that you can, once you are a wolf, you stay a wolf. Babe, don't be nervous about it, just trust me! Being a shifter isn't so bad, I mean, you will have many powers that you don't as a human. You will train with us in our pack and gain so many new powers! And I'm going to be right by your side as you grow and learn your new way of living," I explained.
"What! Oh my gosh, how am I going to explain this to my friend, Star? She's never going to believe this one!" She said.
"Ahh, babe. She's a wolf also. And so is Conri," I replied.
"Holy sh**. I never knew Star is a wolf. She hid it well," She said.
"Yes. We are all in a pack and now we have you in our pack with us! And I'm glad to call you my girl!" I replied.
"Oh my gosh. This is so crazy to me, but I guess I must deal with it now!" She said.

Justice is accepting that she's a wolf and now I must make it clear to her about how we must control ourselves. I begin mentioning to her that only we can control the wolf from coming out, only we can decide when we must bring out the wolf inside of us. She just stares at me in shock as I mention these things to her. Sometimes in our human way of living people can make us upset, angry, whatever it may be and the wolf tends to want to come out on them. But we must not let that happen, if people find out about us, they will kill us, so you must control the urges when you feel them start to rage. We will teach you how to do this when we are training.

"A-Ahh, I see. I'm so tired I need to sleep for a little bit," She softly said.

She layed her head down on my legs and fell asleep. I'll wait until I see that she's fully asleep before I leave the house. I'm going to go to the reserve and talk to Conri. Moments later, I slowly laid her on the couch, I stood up and left the house, I wanted to make it a quick visit with Conri so I'm back when she wakes up.

When I arrived at the reserve, Conri is out in the field, so I went over to him. He was surprised to see me and asked what I was doing here. I explained to him that Justice woke up and I made it clear to her about being a wolf. Conri asked me how she responded to that, and I told him, at first, she was scared, not sure of herself, and she wanted to become human. Then I explained to him that I mentioned to her that she cannot become human again, she didn't accept it at first, but then she did.

"Did you tell her the most important thing about being a wolf?" Conri aksed.
"If you mean about controlling the urges of the wolf, I did!" I replied.
"No. Not that. I mean, did you tell her that she must keep it a secret? I heard word that there is a new enemy coming to our town!"
"Oh, yes. I did tell her that! A new enemy? Who are they?" I asked.
"I'm not sure yet, I will find out soon," Conri replied.
"Great. We are going to train hard for this battle and now we have another wolf in our pack! So Justice will help us fight the battle," I said.

Moments after we talked, I told Conri that I must get back home before Justice wakes up since I left her sleep by herself.
