Hush, Hush

CONRI'S POV:

Star and I sit by the fire while Nick is inside the tent with Justice. I'm assuming there is no change in her because Nick hasn't came out to call us to go inside with him. We did a bit of planning on the attack of Ben, but I'm thinking we must come up with some idea better than what we decided on. Our minds are just not in the right frame of mind yet to battle with Ben and his pack. Once Justice shifts back to human then we will decide on the attack, we need all of out pack to agree on this!

We sit close to each other by the fire just thinking, thinking about what's going to happen next. We know the most important thing right now is Justice waking up, so we both decide to go back over to the tent.

I stood up from my seat and started making my way to the tents, then Star follows me. Suddenly a sense came over me, my wolf sense is telling me that there is someone near us. I'm not sure why I'm having this sense or who would be near us. I look behind me and Star is right in back of me.

My eyes hold a mischievious look as I look into Star's eyes. She suddenly walks faster to near me, she saw the look in my eyes and wants to know why the expression of suspicion is on my face.

We both stopped dead in our tracks, I look at Star and mentioned to her to not make anything look obvious because I sense someone is near us. Then I suddenly thought that it could be Ben. So I made it clear to Star to not look suspicious since I feel Ben is watching us from somewhere. I mentioned to her to just keep walking like nothing is wrong and I will keep my eyes out.

As we walk to the tents closely through our reserve, it's an open area so I don't see anyone here, but the woods are near and I'm sure if someone is here that's where they will be hiding out.

I took ahold of Star's hand quickly, I felt someone is close and i'm sure it's Ben, I just can't say for sure because I must see the person first. I whispered to Star, "Just act normal. I feel someone is near. Don't do anything that will scare the person off, I'm going after this person."

My feelings are getting stronger and stronger the closer we get to the tents. I know there is someone in the woods, I can feel it. But I'm not going to look in the woods just yet, I'm going to go inside the tent and inform Nick and Star first.

Just as I helped Star into the tent, my eyes glanced into a small area of open trees. Right then is when I knew someone is here. I'm guessing it's Ben spying on us, I'm sure he wants to know what's going on here at our reserve. I quickly glanced back to Star and then we both went inside the tent.

Once we got inside, we scrambled over to Nick and Justice. I lookd at Nick and softly said, "Nick, someone is watching us! While we were walking back here I felt someone's presence and once we got closer to this tent, I saw an opening from the woods. Don't look, I'm going to go back out there soon. I don't want whoever the person is to run off, I think it 's Ben or one of his members in his pack so I want to capture them." "What! Why do you think it's Ben? What else could he possibly do to us?" Nick asks. "I'm not sure, but I know it must be him or one of his pack members," I said.

Nick was eager to hunt for this person when I mentioned to him that I think It's Ben. He wants to get him in the worst way, and just as much as I do. He ruined so much already and if he thinks he's going to ruin more, then he better be prepared for the battle of his life.

'This will not happen again to us. I will not let it.'

I have all eyes on Ben and his pack and we are prepared for anyting that comes our way! We are even a stronger pack now that this has happened to us!

As I started walking toward the front of the tent to go outside, Star said, "OMG. Conri, come back here. She's waking up!" I quickly walked back over to Justice and looked at her. Her eyes started blinking open slowly, her head started to shake, then her body started to tremble. Star and Nick held her down, gently, so she does not fall to the ground.

"She's finally shifting into a human!" Now we must wait until this is over and she will be herself again!

As she continues to shift, I walk to the tent opening and stare out into the woods. I had to act like I'm just glancing around the area, I didn't want to stare straight into that opening, if I did then the enemy will run off.

A-A-Ahh. I must think of what to do next! I'm not sure if I should just run into the woods and capture the enemy, or if I should stay here with Star and Conri and make sure Justice is okay.

As I keep staring into the woods, I hear the trees making a rustling sound, so I glance at the area, and I see Ben! I knew it! I just knew it was him. Turning around and looking at Nick, I made it clear to him that it's Ben. He wondered how I knew and I metioned quietly that I just saw him!

Nick makes his way near me and I extended my arm to his chest area and told him to stay back. We do not want Ben to know he's watching us! Nick becomes raged.
