Blood Bath

STAR'S POV:

OH MY GOODNESS! What the hell just happened? Everyone at the party is in an outrage, jumping out of their chairs, screaming off the top of their lungs saying, "people are shot, what's happening?" they look around and see two people laying on the ground with gunshot wounds, blood gushing out from their bodies.

I look over at Justice and she's laying on the ground, she's shot in the back. Instantly I yelled out for Conri. I lowered to the ground next to Justice and tried talking to her, but she's out of it. I shrug her shoulders trying to make her come to, my hands have blood on them from holding her saying, "Justice wake up, please wake up. We are going to get you to the hospital. Conri and Nick are here. Wake up please." All I can do is cry in distress.

'What just happened here?'

Conri and Nick come running over to me and Justice. I'm on the ground holding Justice, crying, still asking her to wake up but she's not waking. Nick kneels down and picks Justice up slowly and holds her on his lap, he rubs her forhead while saying, "babe, it's going to be okay, you're going to be fine. We are going to get you to the hospital. Stay with us. I love you!"

Conri and Nick carefully lift Justice up and set her in Nick's car. I look at Conri and tell him to go with Nick, I'll take care of things here then I'll come to the hospital once everyone leaves. I knew Nick wanted Conri to go with him and be by his side so I just told him to go.

Everyone has run off, they became frightened from the gunshot and the two guys laying on the ground that got shot. I'm trying to help these two guys but they are slowly dying, they lost too much blood and there is nothing I can do to help them, I can't even heal their wounds. I try too, but it's too late, they just died and I couldn't help them. I'm sickened over this!

I'm not sure what to do with their bodies, I'm not sure if I should leave them here and ask Conri when he returns or put their bodies somewhere! I'm just not sure, I'm in a total loss and I don't know what to do.

'I'm not even sure what or why this just happened.'

I don't have a care in the world right now, I'm just gonna go to the hospital and check on Justice! She's all that matters to me right now!

I quickly left the reserve and headed to the hospital.

When I arrived at the hospital, Conri is standing in front of the emergency room doors, so I run to him and hug him. We hold each other tightly, speechless for moments.

While I'm crying to Conri, I ask him what he thinks may have happened and the first thing that he said was, "this is Ben. He did this! And I'm going to destroy him." All I can do is cry, I fear for Justice and I couldn't help her, I couldn't prevent her from getting shot.

I finally calmed down a bit and ask Conri what the doctors are saying and he said, "well, they are working on her now. We really don't know too much right now, all we can do is wait."

I shook my head back and forth in discustment. I'm so in shock over this. Moments pass and Conri and I go inside the hospital and sit with Nick in the waiting room.

We all are silent, in disbelief wondering what just happened. As I sit here and wait, my body starts to tremble, I just can't believe all of this, everything was so perfect and then all of a sudden, a gunshot! All I can do is shake my head back and forth.

There's nothing but silence between all of us while we wait for somekind of word from the doctor. After nearly an hour of waiting, we start to get impatient, we stand up and start walking around in the emergency room, not knowing what's going on with Justice in that room and not hearing anything from the doctor yet.

I can tell Nick is distrought about this, so I went over to him and told him to go outside and get some fresh air, Conri and I will stay here incase the doctor comes out.

Nick goes outside. It was about five minutes later and the doctor came out of Justice's room. He walks over to us with information on Justice's condition. He starts to tell us what's going on but I interrupted him and went outside to get Nick.

When I brought Nick back in we all stood around the doctor, I told the doctor to finish what he was going to say.

"So, she took a pretty big gunshot in her back. We have her stable, but we will have to do emergency surgery. She's lost a lot of blood and the bullet is lodged in her right lung. The only way to remove the bullet is to go in and take it out.

I stand here with my eyebrows lowered, tears rolling down my cheeks, my eyes are swollen and blood shot from all the crying I've been doing. I start wiping my tears and say to the doctor, "Is she going to be okay if you do this surgery? The doctor looks at me with a serious expression on his face and says, "well, with any surgery there can be complication. We are going to do the best we can and we will take care of her the best way we know how."

Conri, Nick and I all look at each other in disbelief. We give the doctor the okay to go ahead and do the surgery. The doctor then told us that they ae going to get her prepared for surgery and we can wait in the waiting room. Once she's out and in recovery he will come talk to us.
