Rejection: The Failed Attempt

STAR'S POV:

I've had the best few days with Conri. We needed that time to ourselves. The best part was when Conri proposed to me! I'm the happiest person on earth right now!

I can't wait to inform Justice, I'm going to ask her if she will be by my side in the wedding! She's going to be so excited for me, I know it! The idea of planning this wedding with my best friend, Justice has made me the happiest person in the world. Rather than waiting until after Conri's birthday planning, I'm going to plan the wedding with Justice then.

Of course, Nick will be Conri's best man, so I have that much planned so far, but there is still much to plan! I can't wait for this day to come! First, I must ask Conri what date he wants the wedding to be on, then me and Justice and do the rest.

Conri went out somewhere, he didn't tell me where he was going, so Justice is going to stop over so we can finish planning his party. I can't wait to inform her of the wedding.

Ten minutes later, Justice arrives. Her and I sit outside and have a cup of hot tea. She told me that she finished inviting everyone and the party is all set for this weekend. She mentioned that Nick went somewhere with Conri, but he didn't say where he was going and I said that I didn't know where Conri went either. We both looked at each other with a smirk on our faces, then I said, "I gotta tell you something!" "Okay. What?" She replied.

"Conri and I were at some valley for the past few days and while we were there he proposed to me!" I said with a smile.
"OMG. I am so happy for the both of you! I knew you two would tie the knot someday!" Justice replied.
"So, my next question is, will you be my maid of honor?" I asked.

Tears started to roll down Justice's cheeks in pure joy! She put her hand on her heart and said, "Oh my goodness. Of course, I will. I wouldn't have it any other way!"

We both stood up and hugges each other tightly, then we started to jump up and down in joy! "I can't wait to start planning this wedding for you! When is this wedding going to happen?" Justice asked. "I gotta ask Conri that as soon as he gets back, I was so happy when he asked me to marry him that I totally forgot to ask him when he wants to marry me." I chuckled and said.

Justice and I sip on our hot tea and wait for our men to get back. And speak of the devil, they are back. Conri and Nick walk over to us, they give us a kiss and Conri pulls roses out from behind his back. I look down at them, smiled and said, "these are beautiful! Red roses are my favorite. Thank you!" "I know babe. Now I want you to look inside one of the roses," Conri said. I pick through each of the roses with my finger tips trying to find the right rose, then suddenly I saw a sparkle.

I lowered my eyebrows in confusion. When I finally saw what it was, my eyes started to water with a big smile on my face.

"It's a engagement ring!"

I grabbed it from the roses and showed Justice. We both jumped with joy! I literally jumped on Conri. This is the best thing that has ever happened to me! The way he gave me this ring is priceless!

While all four of us are in excitement, Nick looks over to the woods and he saw something, so Nick and Conri walk over, then Justice and I follow. I could not believe who it is! It's that rotten piece of shit, Ben. "I can't belive this! He just ruined a great day for us!" And what the hell is he doing here? Justice looks at me and says, "calm down. I'll handle this." "NO. I will. Once and for all," I yelled out.

I ran over towards the idiot and yelled from the top of my voice, "get out of here, you are not welcome here! Ben couldn't get a word in because I kept yelling at him. "I can't stand you and I don't want anything to do with you, so leave now!

My face starts to turn red from all the anger inside me. Conri tries to but in but I held my arm out and said, "I will take care of this!" I started yelling profusely again, "If you think I'm ever going to be with you, I'm not. And what ever would posess you to think that! I will never be with you so leave now, or I will destroy you myself!"

Ben stood there the whole time with a dangerous look on his face but I got him to leave!

The four of us are in total shock. Why ould he even think of coming here like that, he is insane. All I can do is shake my head back and forth in discustment.

"UGH."

He ruins everything for us. It's time this all ends. I look over at Justice and she just looks like she's in shock, so I walk over to her and say, "you see. I told you he's insane and that's why I quit working." "yeah. I see now! I'm going to quit also. I'm going to put my notice in when I go back to work." Justice replied.

"You don't have to quit because of me and I wouldn't want you too," I said.
"Oh. I'm quitting. No one messes with my friends like that!" Justice replied.
"You really don't have too," I said.
"Nick wants me t quit anyway, so that's what I'm going to do and nothing will change my mind," Justice said.

Ben's in for it. He's caused to much trouble now and I'm done dealing with him.
