Chapter 107 Proud Royce

After Royce's post went up, Eric's identity became even more of a mystery.

Some classmates wanted to verify it, so they found a way to sneak into the school's archives and managed to access Eric's personal information. They snapped some photos with their phones.

As a result, another post titled "I have indeed checked Eric's personal information at the school's archives. What Royce posted is actually true!" appeared, sparking further discussion.

In the end, many students believed Royce's claim, thinking that Eric was impersonating a wealthy heir.

They also reasoned that Eric's application for a two-year scholarship was proof enough that he wasn't from a wealthy family.

Of course, there were some students who insisted that Eric was indeed wealthy.

Although both sides had their disagreements, there was one point that everyone could agree on: Eric had helped restore New York University's reputation, and that accomplishment was beyond dispute.

Additionally, an anonymous post appeared on the forum.

The post's title was: "You all have misunderstood. Eric is not a fraud. He didn't pretend to be a wealthy heir. He is Sean's grandson and the Chairman of the Power Group."

As there wasn't any substantial evidence attached to this post, it quickly sank into oblivion without garnering much attention.

All that was known was that the post was made by a female user.

Inside Eric's Dorm Room

"Look at this! That scumbag, Royce, is defaming you on the school forum. It's infuriating!" Big Teddy, fuming, handed his phone to Eric.

On the screen was the post Royce had made on the forum.

After reading it, Eric shook his head and smiled.

"Royce just can't stand seeing me succeed. The stories he made up are quite plausible. He claimed that I sought Tina's help."

"Royce keeps provoking you. I think it's time to teach him a lesson," Big Teddy said indignantly.

"Don't worry, I know how to handle it," Eric said calmly.

When Royce mentioned Tina, it reminded Eric of her.

"I wonder how she's doing now," Eric mused.

It had been a few days since that incident, and he didn't know if her emotions had recovered.

Since they had been intimate, Eric felt he couldn't just ignore her. He decided to go check on her.

However, when Eric thought about Sharon, he felt guilty. He felt like he had let her down.

But at this point, what could Eric do?

Royce was grinning at his phone.

"I have finally exposed this bastard's true face. Let's see how he can continue pretending at school." Royce smirked.

Just then, one of Royce's lackeys rushed into the classroom.

"Royce! Tina is looking for you. She's right outside the classroom!"

"Oh? Tina came to find me on her own initiative?" Royce was surprised.

Royce hurried out to meet Tina.

It had been a long time since Tina had paid any attention to Royce.

Then Royce shook his head and muttered to himself, "No! Could it be that Tina came to find me because I badmouthed Eric on the forum? Does she want to confront me?"

With an anxious heart, Royce quickly went to the classroom door.

The stunning Tina was waiting outside the classroom.

Royce gulped, nervous. He couldn't help but imagine how great it would be if he could conquer such stunning beauty.

Royce had played with many beautiful women before. Tina, however, was the one he had always wanted but couldn't have.

"Tina, what brings you here?" Royce walked up to Tina with a smile.

Tina turned around and looked at Royce.

"Royce, haven't you been pursuing me all this time? You want me to be your girlfriend, right?" Tina's voice was cold.

"Yes, Tina. Did you come to find me just for that?" Royce looked confused.

"I agree to be your girlfriend," Tina said.

"Agree... Agree to be with me? Tina, did you say... you agree to be my girlfriend?" Royce stared at Tina with wide eyes, showing an incredulous expression.

"Tina, are you saying... you agreed to be my girlfriend? I... Am I hearing it right? Aren't you dating Eric?" Royce couldn't believe it.

"That was before. Now we're nothing," Tina replied.

"Haha! Tina, leaving him is the wisest choice. He's just a poor guy, good at nothing but lying and deceiving!" Royce said with a laugh.

Royce felt delighted at the thought of Tina dumping Eric.

Tina said impatiently, "Why are you being so long-winded? You only need to answer me. Yes or no?"

"Yes! Yes! Yes!" Royce nodded over and over, visibly thrilled.

For Royce, this was the moment he had been dreaming of!

"Darling, let me give you a hug!" Royce rushed toward Tina in excitement.

But Tina quickly dodged, furrowed her eyebrows, and said with disgust, "What are you doing? I agreed, but I have a condition. You must never touch me. Keep your distance!"

"But... but, I'm your boyfriend now. Can't I even touch you?" Royce looked helpless.

"If you don't agree, then we don't need to continue." Tina spoke coldly.

"Alright, alright, I agree! My dear, I agree!" Royce nodded quickly.

In his heart, Royce thought that being able to make Tina his girlfriend was already a huge progress. As for touching, well, maybe he could find a way later on.

Royce's mood was exceptionally good. First, he exposed Eric on the forum, and now he was with Tina!

Back in Eric's Classroom

Sharon stood up to distribute the assignment sheets to everyone.

When she reached Eric's desk, Eric asked, "Sharon, have you been doing okay these past few days?"

Sharon hesitated for a moment. She then pretended to be strong and said, "Thank you for your concern. I've been doing well. Also, I will slowly pay back the money I owe you."

After saying that, Sharon didn't linger and walked straight ahead.

Eric's expression was conflicted.

In the afternoon, Eric drove his Lamborghini to Tina's house.

"George, how is Tina doing now?" Eric asked.

"She's been improving lately, but Mr. Phillips, your timing isn't great. Tina isn't at home right now. She made plans with a few friends to go shopping today," George said.

"George, did you persuade her? Is she ready to face reality and let me take responsibility?" Eric said.

George sighed and shook his head.

Eric naturally understood the result.

"Then I'll come to see her another day." After Eric finished speaking, he turned around to leave.

Just at that moment, the villa door suddenly opened.

Four figures walked in from outside the villa.

Eric took a closer look and saw Tina holding the arms of two beautifully dressed young girls, presumably Tina's friends.

Behind them was a familiar man.

That man was Royce.

Royce, laden with shopping bags, looked like he'd been out shopping with Tina.

When Eric saw Royce, his eyebrows furrowed.

What's going on?

Why is Royce with Tina?

Isn't Tina supposed to dislike Royce?

When Tina and Royce saw Eric, they were equally surprised.

"Bastard, this is Tina's home. What are you doing here?" Royce berated Eric with a harsh tone.

"I could ask you the same thing. What are you doing here? Why are you with Tina?" Eric narrowed his eyes and questioned.

"Isn't it obvious? I'm Tina's boyfriend now!" Royce said proudly.
